Chrome Azure

First impression: I just picked this up, and if you’re a fan of the Chrome line or want to collect some of the best fragrances in it, this one is definitely a winner. Chrome never disappoints. I’ve never smelled a bad flanker—they never miss. It stays true to the original DNA (something most companies don’t do) but with a more aquatic vibe, though not like Chrome Aqua. It’s light, airy, and fresh, similar to the original. It’s mass appealing. You probably won’t get tons of compliments, but this could easily be someone’s everyday scent, especially in a warmer climate. That said, I just got it, so I can’t speak to longevity yet, though Chrome isn’t known for lasting power (except for Chrome United, which lasts a full 8+ hours on my skin). I have almost every flanker except Pure and the summer editions, so based on the entire line, I’d say this belongs among the best of them. But again, Azzaro never misses with the Chrome line. If you’re a fan of metallic fresh fragrances like Silver Mountain Water, definitely give the Chrome line a try—especially the original.

To my nose, Chrome Azure is the best flanker in the Chrome collection. Fresh, sweet, bright, salty aquatic, just a beautiful invigorating fragrance to wear, especially in the warmer months of Spring and Summer. I don’t know what’s up with just giving 3 notes, because it’s a lot more complex than bergamot, lavender and sea notes. I also get some melon notes along with some fresh soapy notes when it goes into the dry down. I find this to be a bit sweeter and a little less metallic than the original Chrome, and because of that, it lasts longer on my skin than the OG. I think it’s absolutely blind buy safe and would make an easy everyday scent for work or school. Definitely a 10/10 in my book.

Okay, before you judge, really give this one a chance. This to me is a better version of Chrome extreme or ADG Profondo. This is of course a personal preference. Its like more fresh, less metalic, less fuity version of ADG Profondo. The OG Chrome was too metalic, too syntheitc. Profondo has that metalic sweet note that I tried to like since it was released but couldnt. Hopped that Profondo Parfum which doesnt have the metalic note would suit me. Nope. Bur this thing. This little simple generic gem will be hyped for next summer. Wait and see.

I found Azzaro Chrome Azure at Ross a few months ago, and it was a great purchase. I found the fragrance on Jomashop and online, but they were a bit more expensive. The fact that this fragrance has only three notes is impressive. I find it well-worn in the spring and summer time. It gives more santal vibes, and it's still a great product. The fact that they no longer make this is an excellent value if you can find it for under $30.

This is damn good juice! Personally I find the metallic synthetic aquatics used in the original chrome to be too cloying. This however smells way more high quality. It is 80% similar to Bvlgari’s Aqva Marine and has a hint of Chrone Sport. It’s got a salty sea foam quality with some rich white florals that really do remind me of that Aqva Marine. It’s got a sophisticated quality that makes it a great blind buy.

The Chrome line is one of my favorites as it gets pretty hot and humid where I am and this line is perfect for that: fresh, clean and bright. To me, Azure is like taking the original and adding in JPG Le Beau Paradise Garden. It's got a touch of the creaminess I love from United, Pure and Legend. Great scent if you like Chrome and its flankers but nothing too new or exciting.

I'm surprised coconut water wasn't a listed note, as I get a light coconut vibe at the beginning. The dry down is a really delightful salty sea water with bergamot. This is my favorite Chrome flanker. I used Chrome for over 20 years, but it lost its performance, but I just feel better with a Chrome bottle on my vanity. Silly, I know.

I personally find this fragrance of the line of chrome as the classic, I found some marine notes instead of the floral from the classic, I wouldn’t say is a different and amazing fragrance, is a good summer fragrance that it could be different from the typical

Just picked this up at Burlington for $39.99 for a 3.4 oz. Already at the rack stores! Smells very similar to the original Chrome, but less 90's vibe. Just bought it, so longevity is an unknown at the moment. Smells great.

To me the opening is close to the original chrome but less metallic and after that it turns into Aqva Marine and I personally love it.

Supposedly inspired by Bvlgari Aqva Marine. Bergamot open that's also immediately soapy and fresh. It absolutely has the Chrome dna but is not as metallic. As it moves through the heart the soft lavender really picks up and provides and airy soapy lift to the fragrance, intermixing with the marine notes that start to creep in from the base, which gets ever so slightly sweet, almost like from the presence of melon. The vibe I get from the base is that of fresh linen sheets wafting from a cool ocean breeze; it is wonderful and will be an incredible gym fragrance for me over the years.

Just tested this. Initial blast is classic chrome. But as it dries down it starts to depart. Slightly. Just feels like a slightly modernized version. It’s nice chrome has a special place in my heart as a fragrance with teen year memories. But I wouldn’t pick this up unless it’s heavily discounted and I run out of the og bottle. But definitely nice. Less metallic more aquatic and gentle lavender.

Smells and performs like the original Azzaro chrome so you’ll need to spray moderately. Azzaro Chrome Azure adds a pinch of paradise gardens to the mix. Salty, aquatic, citrus, fig, lavender, fresh, metallic. This version toned down the sharp alcoholic and musky metallic soap vibe of the original and is such an easy reach when you don’t know what you want to wear.

To me it’s a very nice summer freshie. Pretty linear, no magical voyage of notes, but I don’t expect that from a Chrome flanker. I have a PDM Greenly dupe called Khayal Al Faris, and this smells almost exactly like it. Never smelled Greenly, don’t know the comparison to the dupe I have, but Azure is 90% close to it.

A good, fresh perfume, you can feel the citrus (the closest association), bergamot, and of course the sea, giving it a summery, holiday character, the lavender is barely perceptible, only the price was a bit too high in my opinion.

To my nose, this smells completely identical to the original Chrome. I'm extremely disappointed because this note pyramid, though small, sounds like a perfect summer fragrance. Unfortunately, it smells very cheap.

This was promising the first few minutes. It all went to shit 30 minutes in... Got this in the mail yesterday, as I was looking to get a nice summer cheapie to make my summer 25 memories. This ain't it. It opens up super similar to chrome pure, which was my summer 24, Ludington vacation scent. Summer 22, tail of the dragon trip, chrome extreme was my scent. Very good memories from that one! Back to Azure... reminds me of pure and jpgs paradise garden. 30 minutes later this smell appears that I absolutely can't stand. In the air, and not on my skin. It's an odd thing. Same smell came from a sample of an invictus fragrance. Platinum I think is what it was. Anyways. It's a no go for me. Out 35 bucks. Of well. That's the frag game for ya...

To be avoidet,,stick to the OG.

This sounds like a more modern Azzaro Chrome even if Chrome isn't that old. It does not smell dated. The only thing I can think of is how say Acqua di Gio is going with the various changes. Three notes upon initial press release is not that uncommon. Typically they go with the most noticable notes and typically one for open, mid and base. If you think they will only have three notes, you are wrong. Watch a few months from now, Chrome Azure will have more notes.

After wearing this for some time, it is a decent, light summer scent. Nice and airy and definitely had a marine profile to it. Smells like clean laundry to me. Not super boring, but definitely nothing special. I would say if you don't have a ton of fresh scents this is a decent pickup, but if you have some fresh scents, I would pass on this. Longevity and projection surprised me. Scent: 6/10 Longevity: 7/10 Projection: 7/10

The Chrome Parfum was a very good release, so I'm looking forward to smelling this one but I do think many brands need to slow down with the flankers in order to really come up with something extra special instead or a multitude of simply 'good' releases. While some are certainly above average, others are just unnecessary, often replacing the good ones which get discontinued!

Reminiscent of certain CK one flankers, perhaps CK Everyone with that light green-ish lemongrass vibe. The opening was fresh and captivating, later I wasn't so taken with this (as with those recent CK flankers) but I'll try it again for sure, might be a 'grower'. Chrome Parfum is still the best flanker though IMO !

People are downvoting this because it looks (and most likely is) another useless uninspired flanker cashgrab in an already boring line. Can't wait for people to call it an underrated cheapie gem when it inevitably gets discontinued in a few years.

I emailed Azzaro asking for some info about this and this is the reply I got. Oh well. "Thank you for your patience and your interest in Azzaro. We regret to inform you that, at this time, there are no plans to launch Chrome Azure in the UK."

Chrome for women , no character, pointless release and of course - double the price. The OG still a champion after all that years , these flankers will not last a summer...

I saw today that it is available for sale in Ireland, by parfumdreams.ie Has any colleague smelled the fragrance to know if it's better than the original?

Almost identical if not the same as Bvlgari Aqva Marine. Would make a perfect gym scent where I live. Great performer.

The first few minutes, I'm like nice citric flowery fragrance, but the sea notes came out and made me sea sick.

This three note trend is so ridiculous, Azarro is jumping on the wagon. Please stop this.

I found this at Ross for 39.99
