Oriental Rida

Oriental Rida retains a sense of continuation for the brand in terms of style, with the classic&modern blend they achieve so elegantly! And they do so with a new scent and a new perfumer!🤗 The fragrance opens up with a bright and sharp mix of citrus. They quickly melt into a beautiful and slightly resinous elemi, sprinkled with pink pepper. A crunchy Granny Smith apple then comes forth, further enhancing the fructiferous effect. A few minutes later, rose clad in geranium and magnolia becomes evident... Elevated, ethereal and slightly waxy. It starts to develop the floral heart, underneath the vibrant opening, bridging perfectly with the golden hue of orange flower and tuberose. They all settle in slowly, with just a dash of nuttiness! In the base, a clean oud and guaiac wood create a firm woody effect. They're further complemented by a strong amber, tonka and benzoin combination. The latter three give the base a warm and enthralling depth, irradiating with coziness and lasting for long hours... The overall progression goes from bright fruits, to mellow and golden florals, resting atop sturdy woods embellished in ambers and resins... The whole fragrance feels beautifully blended, without any note screaming out of place. They all sing in unison, creating a masterful melody that plays in adagio throughout the long life of the fragrance. Acting like a proper Extrait, the different phases evolve slowly, intensely and with purpose! OR feels like a perfect match for Autumn... It's welcoming, agreeable and heartwarming, while maintaining an earnest and tender character. The atmosphere that it creates around you is perceptible and seemingly doesn't leave anyone indifferent! Not that I personally care about them, but I've actually gotten unsolicited compliments while wearing Oriental Rida!🤣 Regardless, it's an Autumnal love for me!🤗💛
