I made the mistake of going to the mall during my lunch hour to sniff around and see whether I still felt “meh” about Byredo and Louis Vuitton. Neiman didn’t have shit, so I guess I still feel meh about Byredo, but I was actually very impressed by LV’s Stellar Times once I got it on skin. I’m definitely going to grab a full bottle before next spring. After my LV visit, I remembered there was a Balenciaga nearby, and I had never taken the time to smell the new fragrance line since it launched last year. Overall, I was pretty impressed, especially for the price. Nothing felt groundbreaking, but everything was very well blended, and the collection covered most of the mass-appealing scent profiles. Honestly, that’s all I really expect from a “private line.” I’m not necessarily looking for groundbreaking works of art. They just need to smell high quality, polished, and inoffensive. Once I smelled "100%", I knew I had to get it on skin because I’m very much in a floral era this summer. The opening gave me unisex Delina vibes, but the dry-down... the dry-down is what made me walk back into the store after work and bite the retail bullet. I’ve heard comparisons to Wild Vetiver, but it surpasses that for me. What it actually reminds me of is a more masculine version of Pantheon Roma A once it dries down, and A is currently one of the top 10 fragrances in my collection. The only issue is that A definitely leans feminine, so it isn’t something I usually wear unless I’m working from home, going out on the weekend, or heading out at night. Balenciaga 100%, on the other hand, opens unisex and stays unisex through the dry-down, which makes me feel much more comfortable throwing it in the summer office rotation. If you have similar tastes and want a more unisex floral, I highly recommend getting your nose on it. 9.4/10 *** I also want to add that Balenciaga was, by far, my best designer retail shopping experience to date, and I’ve shopped across plenty of states and countries. I’ve almost always had a great time in niche boutiques, but for whatever reason, nearly every designer-store experience I’ve had, aside from YSL in Milan, has been flat-out bad. I mean, I’d like to think I’m an attractive, well-dressed, definitely great-smelling man with a senior-level office job, but 99% of the time, the experience has still been shit. 🤣

I don’t understand why people are comparing this with Bacarat. They couldn’t be more different. I agree with the description below: rose petals, ice cube and tin foil - but in the best way possible. People may be put off by the metallic description in the notes of this fragrance, but it is precisely what makes this rose fragrance so beautiful and wearable all year round and for any occasion. I’d say one would need to like rose to enjoy this fragrance, but as mentioned in other reviews below, you may not even realise this is rose until you’re told so - though you’d be scratching your head to thinking that it’s a familiar scent. But, yes, rose takes centre stage here. Dry, slightly peppery rose to me. I enjoy it on my skin and would happily wear it - not sure yet this is the one I’ll choose to buy though despite liking it and all the hype around it. I enjoy rise fragrances that are not feminine leaning and am happy that this is one I could wear and enjoy wearing it - I also like Radical Rose by MP but simply cannot wear it because it lasts forever on my skin and I end up getting sick of it!

This is so far my most used of the recently launched Balenciaga fragrances, Mainly as I lacquer it on when I see my Partner. It smells really seductive and delicious, A very good choice for date night or anything romantic as it just feels quite sexy when its on. I personally agree with the likeness to Baccarat Rouge, which I did finish a bottle of, but they are still different enough for this not to be considered a dupe.

Crystal-like, shimmering, and a clear stand-out of the collection. As I entered the store, its diffusive sweetness wafted through the air around the new counter. A rose emerged, oxidized into a futuristic edge; vintage bloom refracted through a modern sugar-musk sheen.

Nothing close to BR540. My favorite fragrance in the line, it's wonderful!! I didn't even know it was a rose fragrance until the sales associate told me and I still have trouble sensing rose but damn it's good. Period!! Don't know how to describe it tbh. Just try it

Went to the Balenciaga store and smelled this one 100% and WOW WOW WOW. This is such a BANGER! I literally bought it on the spot! It’s just so DAM GOOD! Oh yeah and it’s an ALL year round any season.

I know people don't fw Balenciaga but this is one of the best fragrances I've ever smelled in my life. Smells like an airier more unisex Delina Exclusif.

This is rose petals, plus a bit of the stem, and an ice cube wrapped in tin foil. Honestly that’s the best way to describe it. like it, but I don’t love it. Remarkably, I think you could wear this in every season, day and night. That quite an achievement for a perfume. So kudos for that. I also respect Balenciaga for making the 200ml refill bottle good value for money, once you’ve splurged on the 100ml original. Wish the sillage was a little better. Since everyone loves to compare - this is closest to Le Labo, Another 13. In fact extremely similar. Replace the pear notes of A13 with the rose that you find here and that’s the vibe. I wouldn’t blind buy this, but if you did, I doubt you’d be too upset. 7/10 for me.

Wow. This is a stunning rose-dominated fragrance with metallic touch. In my opinion, this is nothing like BR540, but same family with Atomic Rose & Delina. Opening >> more like Delina, but fresh-fruity not lychee. (undefined fruit) Drydown>> more like Atomic Rose but less dark & deep. Slightly more natural. Lovely. Safe blindbuy for Rose Lovers. Maybe buy this to replace my Atomic Rose if I've finished it. Youthful, Airy >> Delina Seduced, Sexy & Dark >> Atomic Rose Badass, Uncommitted >> 100%

Anyone saying Bacarrat doesn’t understand what they’re smelling. It may have ambroxan, certainly a little maltol, but otherwise this fits squarely in the Delina family. Tart, borderline overripe fruit, very modern rose, synthetic, heady. I sense a slight woody/fruity tone in the direction of the original Light Blue. Overall really killer fragrance. Would absolutely get this.

As someone who really dislikes rose in a fragrance, I didn't hate this. Reminds me of Rosa Sublime by Granado. It's a bit screechy for me (probably the metallic note), and I'm guessing there's some saffron in here, which does that for me every time. So - not a hate, not a like. If you like Rose and Saffron, you will probably enjoy this.

I received this as a sample from Selfridges with another perfume order. Most intrigued by its name, I sprayed it once on my arm ... and instantly fell in lust. I cannot stand the smell of rose. And given how many of today’s popular fragrances lean heavily into rose (Parfums de Marly Delina, I am looking squarely at you), I was utterly delighted to believe I had finally found my perfect winter scent: smoky leather, warm but not cloying, mysterious, sensual, animalistic. Even while folding laundry, I kept catching intoxicating wafts of it. “I must have you,” I thought, promptly dashing off to my ever-trusted Fragrantica to check the notes. Twice - TWICE - I had to recheck that I’d typed in the correct fragrance. Because there it was: the much-detested ROSE, sitting smugly at the very top of the pyramid. And as if that weren’t enough, citrus (another sworn enemy of my skin) also features prominently. Let's just say I am "100%" utterly befuddled. This smells nothing - and I mean nothing - like its listed description on me. And yet, knowing that it is technically a rose fragrance turns me off entirely... even though it smells outrageously good. I am one who understands that skin chemistry trumps note pyramids ... it's just that this time, I am deeply offended by the evidence.

I’m a dude and I’m comfortably wearing this today cause it’s just synthetics/molecular perfumery. It smells incredibly good. I don’t have any experience with Delina, Mugler, or Thameen but I will say this with confidence: this smells nothing like BR540. This is more like Not A Perfume Superdose or Le Labo Another 13, mixed with Ex Nihilo Blue Talisman or Xerjoff Erba Pura, with a carbonated rose water vibe in there as well. It’s a 10/10 as far as I am concerned, now I just need to see what my wife thinks about me wearing this. It may come off a little too feminine for my vibe Update: she says it smells almost identical to Louis Vuitton Les Sables Roses on me. I don’t agree with her, but that’s her take. We both love wearing that LV

Beautiful intoxicating fragrance. I’ve had to peel men off my neck and that is not an exaggeration! It’s less intoxicating than say Another 13 but is in that realm. It has a sweetness (not sugary but bright) without being cloying. I live in a mostly humid climate and there isn’t a time that I don’t want to smell like this. The sad news is I dropped my bottle with about 1/3 of the juice left. I sopped it up with a bandana and now it fragrances my bathroom. I’ll be buying another bottle soon

I’m really enjoying this beautiful rose-centered fragrance. The Sales Associate at Balenciaga told me it’s one of the top sellers and some people love layering it with other perfumes of their own or from the new line. It dries down throughout the day and really develops over time. You’ll get soft wisps of it here and there during the wear. It’s simplistic but not simple- almost a rose absolut with an aldehyde or oxidized note, hard to explain.

Very beautiful fresh cut rose fragrance. Nothing ground breaking, and to my nose smells similar to Atomic Rose by Initio from what I remember, but with a little less depth. I’ve never smelt Delina by PDM but based on all the fragrances in this “Le Dix” collection - I believe most of this collection is just dupes or slight tweaks to previously made perfumes - I wouldn’t be surprised if this is just a copy of Delina.

This and Creed Wild Vetiver are largely the same fragrance. Remember, both are from the same conglomerate. Both compositions are in large part molecular (very modern and diffusive). I don’t really get rose out of them, mostly they just make me think of something like Le Labo Another 13. They are unisex, but very slightly leaning feminine

To anyone unaware, Balenciaga went viral because they posted children in fetish gear, alongside a document defending child porn (which you don't just accidentally do). They do not deserve your support.

I would say if you can’t smell how Balenciaga copied every major best selling trend for their new line and this is their version of baccarat you don’t understand the industry

This is the Mindgames/Erba Pura of the line. It’s very loud, fruit and flower-forward, and that typical beast mode sweet jasmine. Not my thing at all but it will be popular

Where are people getting baccarat rouge from? This bares no resemblance to it in the slightest, it’s a metallic rose scent, it’s lovely
