Praf de Zâne (Fairy Dust)

It opens with hints of crisp, sour fruits: green apples, strawberries, pineapple, but also reveals the bombastic nature of the perfume. We realize at first glance that we are in the presence of a giant in terms of projection and longevity. Such concentration and stamping impossible to ignore I found it personally only in Baruti. As we get closer to the heart of the perfume, things start to sweeten, to have depth, to break down into delicious layers that pamper the senses. The iris finely powders the composition, the heliotrope chambers the sweet. The sugar and vanilla in the base definitely bring the composition to the sweet area and the spices deepen its intoxicating character. Delicious to the last particle ... You are already inibriated by the most beautiful kind of magical aroma of dust. For me it translates into a late August morning when the sweet and slightly burnt aroma of the fruit jam cooked overnight on the fire slowly fills the atmosphere. It reminds me of apples with cinnamon baked in the oven by my grandmother. The perfume is more than a beautiful gourmet, it is a good mood, where everything is calm and peaceful, an enchanted land where you feel caressed. You can't help but feel good when you put this perfume on you, hence its magical quality. It is a direct and spiritual connection with the child within you, with a place where you are tenderly caressed on the head away from the daily hustle and bustle.

I've been really wanting this perfume, based on the notes, the description and the name. I got it as a gift and I have to say, it's not like I expected it to be. It is sweet, but more like a smokey sweet, it's heavy, like a slightly burnt cake. Some love it, some hate it and some are meh about it. At first I was a bit disappointed because I was expecting a girly sweetness. It leans more towards an unisex perfume, but slightly more female. The smell doesn't change much over time, but it does become a little less burnt and more aromatic and very warm. I'm starting to grow really fond of it the more I wear it. And as for the longevity, it is indeed eternal. I can still smell it on the skin the next day. It's expensive, but it's so heavy that you won't be able to spray a lot of it. Just 2 puffs and you're set. It's definitely an interesting, quality perfume, but it's not for everybody and certainly not a safe blind buy.

This is not nearly what I expected. It smells like green apple cleaning product mixed with sugar and mold. I asked 2-3 friends to sniff it too and none of them likes it. One said it smells like stale coffee which was really weird. I am so disappointed with this, I really hoped it'd smell sweet and comforting and fluffy, but it's just heavy with synthetic fruit notes. After 3h of wearing it, the scent didn't change much. The only diccerence is that, while in the first hour it was more synthetic green apple, now it's heavier too. The longevity is awesome though, but that only makes it worse since I can't wait to get it off my skin.

I was eagerly opening the box to get to the perfume and was thinking: another perfume bottle! I was wrong, this is not "another perfume bottle". This one absolutely shut my lights off and now I can't focus on anything else but smell it like an addict. They put real fairy dust in it. One would not call this gourmand. This is a niche in itself, it's unique. It is addictive gourmand, haunting , it exorcises the bad in you. This one is a miracle. I will always have a bottle.
