Fairytale

A gorgeous, sweet, enchanting, cozy, warm, and dreamy amber vanilla! I really love it! The pomegranate nectar gives it a sweet, juicy, and somewhat tangy scent that is really pretty with the fresh orange blossom. The vanilla bean and amber add a lovely sweet and creamy golden warmth. Although I don’t see any additional notes listed, it’s also got this fresh and elegant woodsy scent to it. An extremely pleasant fragrance that’s a very easy reach! I definitely see the similarities to YSL Libre line. While they really are similar fragrances, I still wouldn’t exactly call Fairytale a dupe. Probably the biggest difference is that this has no lavender, while lavender is a key component of Libre. Still though, this is an excellent option if Libre is a little too pricey for you. Also, I think Fairytale pairs beautifully with Libre, and I love using the body care products with it. This is one of my favorite fragrances from B&BW and I hope to always have it in my collection. I have it in the fragrance, body mist, lotion, body scrub, and body wash. I think that this divine scent works really well year round, is great for pretty much any occasion, and works well for layering. It also seems to be a pretty big crowd pleaser and a rather safe blind buy. I get great longevity with Fairytale, it lasts all day on me. The projection is nice as well, it radiates out about an arm’s length from me. The performance is even better when I use the body care products with it.

It takes a lot for me to like a vanilla-dominant fragrance but Fairytale won me over. I first sampled it at my friend’s house a couple months ago and I could still smell the dreamy, ethereal goodness on my clothes 2 days later. It’s been on my wishlist ever since, just now I finally caved and got a full size, and I’m so glad I did. The body spray is a very smooth and long-lasting concoction that mixes well with any floral, fruity or gourmand perfume. I like spraying this on my clothing while wearing a more concentrated fragrance on my pulse points. Best B&BW scent by far next to Sweater Weather.

Fairytale is perhaps one of the most decent releases from BBW in a long time. I have the YSL Libre and Libre Intense, and I get the comparison, but Fairytale is the most wearable and inoffensive. I actually would reach for FT more than the other two. The orange blossom in this one isn't screechy, while the pomegranate adds freshness. Meanwhile, the amber and vanilla give it the right amount of smoothness. I haven't encountered a person who didn't like this, so it's a safe blind buy.

this scent is a compliment magnet! it could be easy to pass because of the floral body mist connotation but it offers a lot. the opening is reminiscent of Libre but the scent itself is a sweet floral that carries some depth. the cozy vanilla is coming from within without turning sickly sweet or boldly vanillic, but also takes away the possibility of the scent being a green fresh floral. i wear it after shower and i always get noticed for how nice i smell. lasts for 4-6 hours too!

Fairytale is not really much of a fairytale like how the title says. this smells borderline medicinal but then the vanilla comes in and makes it smell immaculate 🤩 the drydown is kind of synthetic and kind of relaxing at the same time... i recommend getting this as that small perfume spray/edp if you admire vanilla scents and old-timey vintage stuff. This perfume definitely has a vintage element to it somehow, and that’s why i appreciate it so much.

Rating this based on the body cream. This gets me compliments constantly and my coworkers can smell me from the door when I walk up to them. It also lasts almost the whole work day. Pretty surprising for bath and body works. I love the unique floral, fruity and vanilla combo. The orange blossom is pretty dominant but I think it blends well with the pomegranate and amber. Husband doesn’t like it?? So it stays with me at work lol

Best b&bw scent ever created omg. Perfectly blended and put together clean and soft vanilla white floral scent. it lasts SO long for being a body spray. I’ll spray it on my clothes and wake up and still smell the scent on me. Starts more floral and settles as a light fresh vanilla and amber. Not too overpowering or harsh like other white floral notes can be. So beautiful idk how anyone could dislike it.

I wish bbw released actual perfumes that lasted long bc I love this scent so much!!!!!!! i always have it lying somewhere in my collection and it has never let me down... warm vanilla + white florals keep it safe but the fruitiness + soft spiciness keep it interesting. this is supposedly a dupe for libre, but I think they lean more towards being relatives in the same white floral-ambery scent family

I love this scent. I have the mini perfume and the body mist and I think the performance of each is very similar, so if you are debating getting the perfume, I wouldn't bother. As far as a dupe of Libre....well...similar vibes but Fairytale has the pomegranate which makes it fruitier and no lavender. I love them all. I have Libre, Libre Intense and Zara Golden Decade and of course Fairytale

I'm gonna add a new review. I like this more and more as time goes on. Maybe it is the fact my nose can now pick up on more of the individual notes in this smell. I don't know if that is from my product macerating or my nose being more trained over time? haha I just have the body mist and body cream, not the edp. It seems like the BBW edp's are not very long lasting from what I've seen.

Pulled this out again today in the body spray and wow. I adore this scent. It makes me feel good, beautiful, and wrapped up in a warm, Amber-vanilla cloud + some added sunshine from the orange blossom. I could smell the fine fragrance mist floating around me for ATLEAST 5 hours and then it tones down and sits a bit closer, but she is still there! Literally gorgeous

This definitely reminds me of Libre Intense but without the lavender/jasmine which I like because I find the florals in Libre and even Libre Intense pull a little strong on me. It's like BBW took the best of Libre Intense which in my opinion is the vanilla/amber/orange blossom and made it into it's own fragrance. This is a pleasant versatile easy to wear fragrance.

This is like a diluted Libre Intense without the heavy lavender and floral notes. I like it. I find Libre Intense is nice but too heavy on the lavender and jasmine. I like those notes but find they turn a bit sharp on me sometimes. I was only able to get the body spray which doesn't have good lasting power. If they release the EDP again I will snap it up for sure.

I love. I'd even get a backup if I find one in store. One of the few "cheap" fragrances I enjoy, smells alot more expensive than it is in my opinion. As someone who has Libre and Libre intense as well, I do not get the comparison at all, however I'll do a side by side test sometime in the next week.

What an unexpected surprise! I have the body wash and am in love. It is slightly sweet but the delicious amber is the most prominent note. Now I need to track down the fragrance. The bottle is lovely, too.

this smells soooo good! it's one of the best scents I've smelt in a while. I have the shimmer spray as well and when I use them I can still smell them on my skin the next day. it's divine

I was shocked at how much I loved this. I was so upset when I went to buy more of the collection and found out it was discontinued. Stop discontinuing your best scents Bath & Body Works!

I think this smells good. I get the amber, floral, and pomegranate. I don't think this is anything special though.

truly does smell like a fairytale.. very amber heavy, a lil bit of vanilla. one of the only 'warm' scents i like
