Smells like a 90s citrusy body mist

As someone from the Mediterranean living in Marmaris, I have to say that after reading all the online reviews about this fragrance, it really shows how differently scents can affect people. This is definitely a nostalgic fragrance, no question about that. But for me as a Turk, it didn't evoke those images of sunscreen, beach days, or Mediterranean yacht trips that others seem to get from it. When I first spray it, I'm immediately transported back to childhood holiday visits - it smells exactly like that lemon cologne refill they'd give us at the pharmacy, or the one our grandparents would offer when we'd go to kiss their hands during holidays. As it develops, it reminds me of Hermès Eau d'Orange Verte soap. The whole experience brings back memories of those perfect summer afternoon naps on sheets that were washed with old-fashioned natural soap and dried in the sun, with grandparents nearby. I can't speak for everyone, but for Turkish people, this might not be a blind-buy fragrance. It's not bad at all - it's actually quite nice. But you might not want to smell like those formal holiday visits with the lemon cologne ritual. I'll definitely use it on summer evenings after showering, paired with the matching lotion and body spray, for those sweet childhood-like sleeps. But honestly, I don't think I'll miss it when it's gone. Edit: I'll admit, I was skeptical at first - the lemony opening felt too cheap. But after weeks of wearing it, especially during scorching summer days when it's sweltering even in the shade, I finally get it. There's something magical about how it performs in extreme heat. While other fragrances feel suffocating or turn cloying, this one actually becomes more inoffensive, refreshing and light. The neroli blast that initially put me off now feels like a cool splash of water. Then comes the real surprise - as it settles, these beautiful jasmine & green tea notes emerged, creating this zen-like freshness that's oddly comforting. I find myself reaching for it constantly now. It's become one of those scents that just feels right. I used to think I'd easily move on once the bottle was empty, but honestly, my feelings has been changed completely.

This is not a new fragrance, but rather a re-release of a cult classic. In the Sun is an understated, but sensual neroli scent. It doesn't smell impressive on a paper strip, and needs time to develop on one's skin... And this being because it actually melds so perfectly into skin that the subtle "sandalwood" (which smells like soft, dry saunawood) actually smells similar to warm, suntanned skin. The neroli is gently soapy, and the entire composition does absolutely smell solar. It *truly* smells like you've been basking in summer sun. Nothing aquatic or salty here, it's just a dry white floral and sweet wood.

BBW website lists notes as Top Note: sun‐kissed neroli Heart: sparkling orange flower Base: bronzed sandalwood I actually get lots of citrus as well in the top notes, mainly lemon and bergamot. Very fresh, zesty and lift me up. It is reminiscent of 4711 eau de cologne in the beginning. As it progresses it becomes more of a citrusy floral; the orange flower and neeoli take over. They’re grounded by the woods but they never prevail. Overall it’s an energizing unisex summer morning pick me up scent. If you already have a citrus cologne ItS will probably be redundant though.
