I purchased this because I am into beachy, summery smells. This one is much less in the straight up coconut ally and smells more restrained. It doesn't smell like soap. I don't find it to be in the vein of Tommy Bahama scents at all, including Set Sail St. Barts or any others for that matter, nor does it have the gorse flower scent that I think of with VIW. It is not very heavy and probably lasts about 4 hours. Overall, I reach for other things more (VIW, St. Barts, Vanilla Vibes, Beach) when I am in a summery mood, but I do like this and I'm glad I have it in my collection. I have so many colognes that it should last a lifetime despite being discontinued! I was at Bath and Body Works today and they have a new Coffee and Whiskey - I actually quite like it.

I got this for my husband and he didn't like it at first but he says it has grown on him now. I started wearing it myself because I love the way it smells on me. It smells like coconut, a little musk, palm. It's very strong, long lasting and clean; it is tropical without being sweet like most feminine tropical scents. It is slightly spicy but mostly tropical. I just love it and think it is a great unisex scent. A beach smell that isn't salty or too aquatic. Sad it is now discontinued.

Just paid full retail for this bottle only to find its identical to another bath and body works fragrance mist “at the beach” which you can find at discounters dirt cheap with above 200ml, whereas this thing is for around 40$ for 100 ml. Tested them side by side and I kindda felt “at the beach” to be a little longer lasting than this but the smell exact.

I got the travel shower gel for a different option while on vacation and this is nice. Very tropical and went with most of the colognes I wore through out. It has a pina colada vibe with the coconut water. Not sure on longevity or how far it goes but it is Bath and Body Works so expect soft to moderate lasting 2-4 hours as most fragrances from the house have that length.
