Sea Salt & Lavender

This is one of my all-time favorites from BBW! It manages to balance the gorgeous lavender with the beachy accord so that neither is lost. It's appropriate for the office or anywhere else, and I think any gender could pull it off.

imagine you're sitting on the beach, watching the waves ebb and flow. you smell so strongly the salt from the ocean and the sand beneath you, but somehow there's a lavender field about 50 feet away from you. the wind carries the scent of the flowers over to you every so often, just so you don't forget it's there. that's what this smells like. I don't know how to describe this scent besides maybe lavender sunscreen. it definitely isn't the star here as is the salt, but I can pick up on it pretty easily. it lasts a while on clothes, but my skin eats it up. honestly I feel like it's one of the more...conceptual? offerings from B&BW, but I enjoy it. not sure if it's still in production, but I'll keep it in my collection if I can.

I am still pretty torn about this scent. It smells like a windy day in the ocean- salty sea breeze and wafts of seaweed combined with a soft yet aromatic lavender scent. On its own, it might be better as a linen or room spray. It tends to smell heavier on humid days so I recommend using it when it's cooler. One thing I do appreciate about this scent is that it works well for layering with sweet and fruity scents. I've paired this with Boardwalk Taffy and AG Thank U, Next 2.0 and it brought out the lavender notes than the salt notes.

I had this scent for a year but it wasn't here so I was not able to post the review. It smells strongly of lavender at the spa note for me. Not something I like.

Picture this: Lightly scented lavender fabric softener used on a beach towel, and you wrap up in that beach towel after wearing sunscreen and sitting on the beach. It's such a beachy and clean/cozy scent. Very little lavender, mostly solar notes and salty goodness. PLEASE LET ME KNOW if anyone finds a PERFUME that smells like this. Right now, I am using the shower gel and body mist. It's so comforting. 75 degrees Fahrenheit, warm humid evening by the beach, the sun is setting, laundry is going, your nose is sunburned from the day, and you're snuggled in for the evening. It's a COMFORT scent. aaaaaaah.

Despite the difference in the notes, this is almost the same scent as Fresh Laundry by Clean! With this one being a bit more sunscreeny/coconut but they are definitely very very similar. Both are very fresh without necessarily being aquatic or citrusy
