Seeing Rouge

Clean, airy, warm, and green! I can see this being versatile for year-round wear. I don't get a smokiness like other people mentioned. Instead, the warmth smells like warm wood, like the sun heating up a patio deck in summer. And as a lover of the moss note, I'm biased when I say that it's my favorite part of this fragrance. It's refreshing and cooling, but not in a conflicting way with the warmth of the saffron and amber. This has great staying power. However, it seems to be more of a skin scent for me because it doesn't project far. Though I've heard that how you perceive certain notes in BR540 and its dupes can cause amnosia in some people. So even though it might smell faint to me, others might be able to smell it stronger.

This is super addictive to me. I'm so glad I picked it up at Semi Annual sale. The thing with body mists is you NEED to overspray! That's the only way #1 to create the scent bubble & #2 to make it last. These are NOT perfumes! You need more than a small spritz.And at the price point, seeing people complain about the1 hour lasting power is laughable. Back to Seeing Rouge, it absolutely 💯 has the Baccarat, Cloud DNA. Definitely a great budget dupe! But it can be polarizing so it's not for everyone.

I haven't gotten to try the actual Baccarat Rouge 540 but I hear its a good dupe! I really like this one cause of the moss and blackcurrant notes but its nothing amazing. the scent is a good 7/10 but thats the only kicker. I have to reapply this every ten seconds and it doesn't project at all.

swooped on the body spray and absolutely love it, silky saffron with a pinch of amber sweetness.

Upon the initial spray, I was greeted with a strong note of saffron complemented by a hint of amber. After about five minutes, I noticed a sweetness which I have grown to expect from other Baccarat dupes. Alongside this sweetness, there were some musky undertones that lingered until the scent faded away about five hours later. The scent remains relatively consistent throughout; it does not evolve much, which is typical for a body spray. In terms of projection, the scent was noticeable at arm’s length for the first hour, then about a foot away until it ultimately faded around the five-hour mark. Overall, I find this to be a pleasant scent. My wife's stated that this is her favorite from the Everyday Luxuries so far. As someone who enjoys BR540 on women, I also like Seeing Rouge. While it lacks the depth and spiciness of the original Baccarat 540, it makes up for it with its lighter profile and less headache inducing aroma. To me it actually resembles the Baccarat 540 Extrait more closely than the original, due to the reduced spices.

I feel like it had the potential to be become an even bigger body mist than it is now For me at least it obviously smells like CDN untold and other BR540 dupes (fun fact, i never smelled BR540 itself), but this one has a more earthy and plant-y edge to it compared to CDN. When I spray it around my body, it's definitely a body mist that I definitely see myself enjoy, and I find unoffensive. However, I've seen other people go crazy about not just the body mist, but the Baccarat smell itself like I sprayed CDN with myself and told oomf and then he said that it was sweet and kind of reminded him of strawberries (?). Reminder that I live in a tropical rainforest climate and the 4 seasons here are non-existent, just basically summer all day and 2 seasons maximum. This probably has the least amount of longevity ever out of my perfume collection, but it's definitely one that I wouldn't want to go to waste and hope that I don't force myself to use it every single day as a part of my daily routine.

absolutely not a dupe for BR540!!!! but good for what it is. pretty weak even for a mist though.

I smell no sweetness in this whatsoever. Even with In The Stars, or other BR540 dupes, the "sweetness" many people rave about simply doesn't exist. It just smells like burnt cigarette butts or burning wood. I wouldn't recommend this during summer (whoever would be at close proximity will find this extremely suffocating or offensive), though, it smells fitting for fall or winter. Not a fan of this scent DNA, but people who enjoy BR540 or Ariana Grande's Cloud would really love this. For the $4.99 price point, this slaps. The packaging itself is also pretty. Just okay for me.

It does smell like BR540 but of course being a body mist it's not going to be as strong or pronounced. For its price it's an affordable way to experience the BR540 dna--- unless you're anosmic to it lol

Surprisingly not the biggest fan of the spray, but I did buy the body cream and the perfume.

Absolutely love this on paper. On my skin it turns harsh and animalic quite quickly, which does happen with some BBW scents that try to be “woody” on the cheap. Wanted to love it, but it’s a no for me. Sad because it’s lovely when not interacting with my skin/nose.

This literally reeks. Whenever I left the store after smelling it, I couldn't get the smell out of my nose. It smells like nothing but it stinks at the same time. 0/10

Tested this in store and my child and I are both completely anosmic to it. We love BR540 but this is absolutely NOTHING on the skin or on a paper strip. Zero scent.

I try to stay away from BR540 dupes because I don’t like overly sweet things and I’m petty and don’t want to smell like everyone else. Had no idea this was a BR540 dupe and fell in love with it, today. 😂 It didn’t smell very sweet at first, and had a lovely peppery exotic quality to it when I sprayed it. I was like, “Way to go, Bath and Body Works!!” Well, it just keeps getting sweeter and sweeter the longer I wear it, and suddenly I realized: I have been tricked into wearing a BR540 dupe! 🤭 I might just get it anyway because I loved the opening and it’s so cheap. Maybe I can layer it with something to temper the sweetness. I also somehow went noseblind to it about 5 minutes after spraying, and then about 5 minutes after that it started getting really sugary.

So I was out scent shopping with my daughter a couple days ago and found this in mist form. I almost bought it for myself (dad) as my nose was a bit fried at the time. It has a pretty sweet opening of cotton candy layered with pepper and wood. I think it’s almost unisex, but the candy note keeps it feminine leaning. fresh and patchouli woody and pepper notes take up most of the dry down, definitely not strongly floral but a little rich and ambery. liked the first impression enough though the candy and pepper relationship is a little awkward. Changes rapidly and fades into oblivion in an hour or two.

Love BR540, love this. It’s 80% close. I think this is as close as you can get for a good quality dupe at Bath & Body Work’s price point. It’s being discontinued after the SAS which I am devastated about. As I type this I layered the body wash, lotion, and FFM and my scent bubble is amazing. I keep getting whiffs of myself. I think I’ll definitely have to stock up more than I thought.

This smells like a LOT of stuff out there right now. BR540, Salt & Stone Saffron Cedar, DIME Dans Les Bois, SDJ Cheirosa 68, etc etc. They all, to me, have varying levels of sweetness, and I kind of love that. The scent profile is exactly what you'd expect, but bang for your buck with the body cream and FFM is unbeaten. Love it!

I got this body mist b/c it supposedly smells like BR540, however, I smell absolutely NOTHING when I spray it on myself OR on paper. My husband said he cannot smell anything either. Huge disappointment. I give it a 1/10.
