White Tea and Ginger

I think the last iteration of this was 5 or 6 years back and I’ve been waiting for it to return. I discovered this in 2008 and I’ve loved it since. I just haven’t encountered any other mist or perfume with the same relaxing and tea-like dry down as this one. This works so well where I live where it’s warm like 90% of the year and people might say it smells like a spa because I think this might be where they copied it from. Might not be for everyone, but it’s true that this is maybe one of the most inoffensive scents you could ever go with. It works really well with my body chemistry as well. I am, in other words, stocking up on this one. I hope they never discontinue this.

What an underrated beauty. BBW should be bringing this one back for every summer SAS, moreso than Cucumber Melon. WT&G has some unique interesting notes and you can actually smell them. I get the yuzu and bergamot in the top, soon followed by the tea 🍃 then the ginger 🫚 . It’s a super energizing and happy scent. Not your typical citrus 🍋🟩 the tea note is beautiful, so is the freshly spicy ginger. It’s totally unisex and will need to be reapplied frequently but who would mind that in the scorching heat.

This is a wonderful spicy, citrus, green scent. It is very refreshing during the hot summer months, but unfortunately it is not very long lasting which is to be expected from a fresh body spray. i enjoy this scent very much, but don't reach for it enough to keep it in my collection, so I will be donating it to someone who can show it more love than me.

I love this so much, I'm devastated that it's been discontinued! I brought myself a large bottle for 8 bucks at a swap meet and am so glad I found it, I've been hunting it down for quite a while and was so surprised to find it there of all placess!!!

This smells so nice, fresh and unique. It smells like you’re sunbathing under scented trees in Mediterranean coastal cities at summer but it doesn’t last long

White Tea & Ginger is a clean unisex citrus and tea scent that is really useful for me after I do activities outside in the summer heat. Unfortunately it doesn't last long at all and neither the body mist concentration or the fleeting scent profile help with that. It has no sweetness and in fact is a bit bitter, it's the type of spa-like scent that could easily be added into B&BW's aromatherapy line permanently (it doesn't have much similarity to their Orange & Ginger scent). This really does work best as a refreshment after a hot day, exercise, or after a bath/shower compared to something to just wear as a fragrance, maybe unless you layer it. I have the version released in last year's summer SAS but White Tea & Ginger has existed for over 20 years and continues to be brought back occasionally! This smells so calm and refreshing. It's the perfect balance of spicy, clean, fruity, and fresh. The notes balance each other out. At first spray, the yuzu and bergamot are dominant. It actually radiates a lot and isn't intimate. Once it dries down, the yuzu disappears, and the ginger and tea notes take over. It's a pretty scent. Something I'd really love to wear during summer as it seems to cancel out unpleasant smells. It's really invigorating, calming, and relaxing. 8/10. It's something specific that I can't wear all year round, but also beautiful enough that I'd still want to keep it in my collection.

I tried this because I heard it was similar to White Tea and Sage, and they are indeed similar in that they're both unisex and very clean-smelling. It isn't terribly sweet, just fresh. I didn't really like it at first because of the ginger note and the fact that it just made me think of a spa or fancy hotel shampoo (in fact I'm fairly certain that at least one hotel I've stayed at before used this scent), but after trying the lotion form I warmed up to it. It makes a very nice after-shower fragrance and I think it could be worn in all seasons.

I got a free small sample of this perfume. Even if this isn't the type of perfume I usually buy, I surprisingly like this. This perfume is citrusy-spicy, good for tropical weather. A classy and mature scent, the ginger and tea is intense with this one, both of those notes blend perfectly together.

This was my all time warm weather fave from BB&W which sent me on the path to loving tea, citrus, and ginger in perfumes. I don't seek it out any longer as now I am fully stocked with similar fragrances with the aforementioned profile.

Very relaxing classic fragrance. I enjoy the lemon,tea,and geranium notes.The fragrance mist is okay but I adore the shower gel. Especially for a day when I feel super stressed. Very unique fragrance to enjoy for you and only you.

I have memories of this fragrance being around approximately a decade or so. I don't think it was an original classic, but I could be mistaken. It's definitely existed for a significant amount of time though, my daughter has a bottle of lotion and it's gotta be 5 years old, but it's actually still good. This has a fresh tone to it, the tea smells similar to a sweetened Lipton tea drink, and as with most B&BW fragrances, it learns toward sugary territory. It's citrusy but not lemony or orangey, which makes me default to calling it "bergamot" or "yuzu", although it doesn't smell realistic to those either, but the notes listed here make as much sense as could be expected. The ginger isn't really as noticeable as I'd like it to be. This smells ordinary and not at all exotic, and I wish it was more memorable. It's extremely easy to wear though, it's one of the least offensive things I've ever smelled, and entirely unisex. I love ginger, tea, and citrus...so I'm not sure why this never impresses or excites me personally, but it just never has. I definitely don't think it's bad, I enjoy when my daughter wears it and I've tried it probably 5 times. I just find it underwhelming. It's quite clean and reminds me of hotel soap...but not 5 or even 4 star hotels, just 3 star stuff that ends up coming home with you but is never used. I'm sorry, maybe this lights up on some people's skin and maybe I'm missing some of the magic here. In fact, I hope that's the case and I'm glad when people enjoy things more than I do. B&BW obviously brought this back for a reason and I'm sure it's a fan favorite. It's ok, we don't need to "get" everything all the time, that's just part of being a fraghead 😊

This is definitely an old lady scent. Not very flattering.

I am just young enough to not remember when this was originally released. I do remember plumeria, cucumber melon, brown sugar fig, dancing waters etc etc from the 90s, but not white tea and ginger. I tried this at the SAS and was blown away by the performance of a body spray that I purchased for $3.95! I have since gone back and purchased 2 backups of this and 2 of white citrus. This body spray, on my skin, smells like a less complex Nishane Wulong Cha, which I adore. No, this is not as good as Wulong Cha because there is none of the fig creaminess, but for $3.95 versus $360 for a 3.4oz bottle, I'll take it! I am considering to get the body cream to layer with Wulong Cha, but I probably won't, I generally don't go for scented body creams, but the cream of this is long-lasting and smells just like the spray. The beginning is sharp, but it lasts for about 10 minutes and then the dry down is an invigorating, smooth, citrus tea that lasts 4+ hours with hydrated skin, I use non-scented CeraVe. I plan to wear this until I get a full bottle of Nishane Wulong Cha.

A beautiful, cheerful, bold, fresh, spicy floral. Very classy imo. I think it can work for any age group. My mom has been wearing this for probably 15-20 years now, and I’ve been stealing it from her since high school. I always felt unique and classy in it, and I still do. It reminds me of getting ready with her in her super sunny bathroom on a Sunday Morning.

Such a great fragrance. It's crisp, clean and fresh. Perfect for that "clean girl aesthetic" that's so popular right now. I love the hint of ginger which gives this a zesty finish.

this has worked amazingly for me in this scorching, summer heat. most of my collection is gourmands and this is truly the only scent I can stomach right now. lifesaver!
