Worthiness

Worthiness is a fragrance that needs adequate time and attention to fully appreciate. With the opening it’s a tad animalic, but don’t let that scare you as it quickly settles down within the first minute. I didn’t really appreciate much cinnamon. From the opening onward, this fragrance continues to change and develop, it keeps drawing you in for a deep inhale to see what it’s offering you next. As you reach the dry down, this is where the magic is, a warm, dense, enveloping sweet jammy rose. When wearing worthiness, what I love most is the delicious waft I get in my own scent bubble. What vision does Worthiness invoke? I get classy, vintage, old money that is done perfectly in a modern fashion. Think of visiting some of the most prestigious stables of Arabian thorough-bred horses, that are dressed for a ride during the golden hour of the day as you’re wearing your favorite cashmere sweater. Do not be quick to judge this beauty, she takes time and patience to fully understand and appreciate her. May not be BB safe for some people, so look into some good reviews first. However, for those who appreciate incredible oud fragrances that are well blended you'll really enjoy Worthiness, and I would say go for a FB even if it’s a BB...IMO, this is a 10/10 masterpiece!

Image the buttery, voluptuous ambery vanilla of Lune Feline; take the cardamom out. Now add sweet (not spicy or jarring) cinnamon, and sweet, soft oud (the style oud in FdB Oud Orange Intense or Oud Juane intense). This is phenomenal! Very unisex, and can be worn in most weather and seasons. This will project and cast an incredible sillage!

Sweet spicy charm... This has similar latex note to "Supreme Majesty" with patchouli, tonka, bitter cinnamon powder, dates, vetiver, and a touch of orris. This one is quite insatiable with it's bitter sour sweetness. Beautiful.

This is so majestic and complex. The earthiness is perfect (not too much). I don’t have another fragrance like it and I have a lot of perfumes.

All I need is a little seed of hope, a tiny frail seed of hope, and then, anything is possible. I'm worth it, I have to be.'' My scented fam, today I'm reviewing such a special scent. If you're into niche perfumery, even a little, you can't not recognize those luxurious bottles with the crystal cap. The brand Benigna has been talked about a lot in the last few years, one big reason being that they were selected to be a part of the 'swag bag' at the 95th oscars last march. Also, the brand is known for its charity work towards multiple causes and organizations, notably the BeEagle Foundation. The brand is also doing it's part to reduce it's environmental impact, as they just announced their 'Perfume Refill Program'. Now, let me tell you about Worthiness. The scent is deep, rich and opulent. It smells like something royalty would wear. Upon spraying, the first thing that comes to my mind is the quality of the ingredients, it's crazy. The fragrance opens up with a gorgeous mix of cinnamon and pimento leaf, supported by a whiff of oud, already noticeable in the background. The heart is a bit more floral with a deep rose note, some orris and tonka bean, as the oud becomes more and more prominent but never barnyard, and then the beautiful drydown, with some vetiver, vanilla, and patchouli that adds a magical earthy dimension to the scent, breathtaking. I absolutely recommend getting your nose on that one if that is the kind of scent that you're into, I know I am. It is truly a gorgeous release, and I won't lie to you, when people come in my room, this is probably the most talked about bottle in my collection <3 Giant thumbs-up !

LMR stands for Laboratoire Monique Rémy (I looked it up) a company she founded in Grasse, France in 1983 which was purchased by IFF in 2000, and is its "specialized division for the world's highest quality natural fragrance raw materials" and let me make it clear: you can smell it! https://www.iff.com/scent/lmr-naturals/ While I appreciate and can happily wear all of the perfumes in Benigna's Royal Collection, Worthiness is my top choice for the evening. Maybe the pimento leaf and patchouli are reminding me of cumin in this, but a sweet, easy-to-wear version. I smell honey in the late drydown. This is a smooth and sophisticated scent which could be a cousin to Roja's fabulous Parfums de la Nuit 1 and 2. I'd say if you love those then this is blind-buy worthy. The Royal Collection's presentation is luxurious in a way you rarely see these days with scents to match. I've heard they're changing the caps, so if you want the gold ones don't wait!

Absolutely beautiful, probably the most 'regal' smelling fragrance I own. It's dense and heady and performs like a true champion! Can't wait till winter to wear it again.😀 Although the overall packaging is gorgeous.. I can't help feeling the cap could have done without all the stones. I kinda cheapens the aesthetics, especially with the red/green ones being roughly cut and not set particularly well set.
