Beverly Hills 90210

What an odd fragrance. It's not a "bad" or "stinky" scent per se... But it is sharp, medicinal and quite lemony (although lemon isn't listed in the notes; I don't pick up apple at all). This actually reminds me of Coney Island by Bond No 9, which is in the 200 buck price range. Coney Island is also pretty lemony, except while 90210 smells medicinal, Coney Island is more boozy. Tough to figure out where one would wear this. It's evocative of a good floor cleaner. Unless you're really into lemon or unusual scents, I advise you to leave it alone. Doesn't last long. The good thing is you can snag a bottle for dirt cheap.

I'm mad because I found out during the pandemic that one of my favorite shows ever--marketed fragrances! When I discovered this, I ordered everyone in my household a 90210 fragrance. Of course, these were blind buys--and, I must say, we all were satisfied with the scents and product quality. Even the body spray was a complete winner! This particular 90210 fragrance is affordable and pleasant, with the smell of white flowers and crisp fruit. It is completely wearable to most day activities, it lasts, and projects well. I believe it to be a safe blind buy.

I received a vintage mini of 90210 yesterday and was pleasantly surprised although the perfume has probably lost a bit of the top notes. There's still apple, but it's a mellowed apple that sweetens the other notes. Sillage is modest, lasting power is better. Quite unisex and worth a try. The scent resembles another perfume but I can't recall the name. Try it - 90210 is cheap - and you'll know what I mean.

I first bought this when it was launched at the height of the show. It has top note akin to pineapple cordial, similar to Live Luxe which I also own. It's really cheap now at the discounters but luckily, no reformulations, the scent stays just as good. Can't stay it's amazing but it is a really fun scent to wear especially when I'm feeling nostalgic about everything good in the 90's.

Oh how I loved wearing this in the early 90's. Bottle was a little boring but it smelled fab !!
