Dragon

I received a tester from a very dear friend and I have to say that I am blown away by Dragon's notes. I can't help but be relieved that Boadicea decided not to create another Rose and Oud Combination. I will say the price tag is huge! I am a huge Vanilla fan! If it has vanilla I own it. Dragon unravels ever so slowly (evolving) into something truly beautiful! I have fallen in love with the beginning which I will say has to have Pearl, Cinnamon and Saffron. As this sits and lingers dancing on you're skin you begin to take notice in the Incense, Magnolia and Amber. It transforms over a few hours and will eventually reach it's final stage of Cashmere Musk and Vanilla! I will admit I have not noticed a 12 hour + wearing out of this however I do have a respiratory infection and bronchitis at the moment however 'm moving past it. I will update you when I am able to smell more I have a lot of reviews to tell you about. At this time I am saving for a bottle of Dragon however this is no easy feat. There are times that Dragon leans feminine and then I get moments of masculinity. I want you to decide for yourself if you love it or dislike it. If this helps my favorite BTV's are Moccus, Tiangou, Michelin Star, Faith (I can't pull that off), Fire Sapphire, Amber Sapphire, Dragon, and Ardent. These are in no particular order.

Just as golden and majestic as its bottle suggests. The scent opens with a syrupy Turkish rose that is sweetened by golden saffron. Behind it, hints of peach and raspberry flit in and out, while magnolia adds a sharp floral edge that keeps things bright and expressive. As it begins to settle, incense drifts in, giving the composition smokiness and depth. The amber steps forward, warm and grounding, and then the soft vanilla begins to bloom. By the dry down, rose, amber, and vanilla glide into perfect harmony. The florals mellow beautifully, and a gentle musk adds quiet sensuality. An amazing scent if you want to make a statement. It’s definitely feminine leading, but it still works great on me. It feels playful and charming, and establishes confidence by its uniqueness. Is it worth the price? Definitely not, but the craftsmanship is undeniable. If you’re going to be reckless with your money, this is a great way to do it.

Just got it in, this is a winner, absolutely love it. It's ambery incense. Not really a profile I've come across so far. First impressions are it's high quality and unique, but approachable and going to garnish compliments. Mark you no zero things, and you're doing too much. Until you smell something keep your mouth shut. The bottle is really nice as well. Well report on dry down when i have a full wear. Update: if you only like true bore masculine scents this is not for you. It's imo one hundred percent unisex, maybe a tiny bit fem leaning, especially on the dry down. However, I love this kind of scent for that reason. I'm one to cross the spectrum and do not believe fragrances have a sex. This just smells good. It smells expensive and it's easily likable. Lasts forever and projection is great. Disregard review below me, dude hasn't even smelled it yet

Light and ethereal, that’s what this scent feels like to me. Not that it doesn’t project, on the contrary, it’s quite a projector. The feeling I get from this brings to mind BCR540 even though they smell differently except for being lightly sweet. My name for this would have been Nymph because that’s what came to mind smelling this. Dragon would need to be strong and bold and violent in my opinion. Unless of course this is a water dragon, but the bottle design featured a true dragon. Still this is a very likable scent, albeit a very expensive one.

This is a fantastic fragrance! I didn't really like the opening, there's one dry and powdery note that makes my throat itch. Frankly, I was expecting something spicier, with more kick, considering the cinnamon... but I didn't get any cinnamon (I love cinnamon, damn!). However, when it begins to dry down, the vanilla with the incense and amber appears and it's wonderful. Projection and performance were good on my skin, but far from beast mode – but I'm an under sprayer, so take that into account :)
