Frammenti

Over the last year, Frammenti has been hyped up as a being a very similar fragrance to Delina Exclusif by PMD. I can see that but only for the first few seconds after applying it to the skin. After the first minutes Frammenti goes into a more green, aromatic, fresher direction which I personally don’t like. Starts resembling so much more with Delina OG, which is not my favourite scent style. Hearing so many people saying how good this smells I had high expectations but what I am smelling is not something that I am crazy about. In all honesty I am not Delina’s biggest fan in the first place, so maybe this scent profile is just not for me. I will reiterate that there’s is nothing wrong or unpleasant about Frammenti, it’s just a matter of personal taste.. Frammenti is a nice scent, some ambers mixed with rose, violet, green accents and rhubarb. I personally don’t get much incense, caramel, blackcurrant or citrus out of this. It’s a very pleasant scent, feminine and quite intense but not something that I would want to add into my collection. A like not a love type of scent. I think this is a fruity floral with an ambery base for people who dislike sweet fragrances, this has no sweetness at all in it in my experience. It’s a nice blend and smells expensive and elegant, has contrasting nuances and is not entirely linear but it’s not my thing... Overall, I personally consider that Frammenti is slightly overpriced and possibly overhyped (like I always considered the original Delina to be) that has a truly wonderful bottle! The scent is not unique enough to justify the price tag and neither is the performance! I will update about the performance in a couple of hours. Test before you buy unless you are absolutely crazy about OG Delina and inspired scents of that and you are looking for a cheaper alternative for Delina! Even though it’s quite pricey, is way better value for money compared to PDM’s prices and it comes in 100 ml (absolutely gorgeous) bottle. 4 hours later in the dry down is where Frammenti starts catering to me and my personal taste. Now it’s where it starts resembling more with Delina Exclusif, that creamy, incensy, warm, resinous, fluffy, fruity vanilla and now I see the hype it got after release. Let’s say it’s definitely growing on me but I have an almost full 75 ml bottle of Delina Exclusif...I really don’t need this but now I see it as a viable alternative for the way overpriced PDM fragrance. It’s a great one! Lasts about 9 hours on skin and at that point it’s a total skin scent.

Frammenti sits within a well-trodden territory in my collection, as I own several oud and rose fragrances. That said, it stands out as a particularly well-crafted interpretation, one that feels refined and unmistakably “Bois” in character—a twist I find myself appreciating more and more. Compared to another creation from the house that I own (Sacro e Profano), Frammenti clearly leans more toward rose than oud. The oud here is restrained, smooth, and non-animalic, serving more as a structural backbone than a dominant force. The rose takes center stage: elegant, expressive, and polished rather than dark or challenging. The result is a composition that feels sophisticated and very wearable, rather than heavy or confrontational. This is also a fragrance that works exceptionally well as a shared scent. Both my partner and I wear it regularly, and it adapts beautifully to different skin chemistries, maintaining its balance and identity while remaining versatile and unisex in the best sense of the word. The presentation is outstanding. The handmade bottle is truly spectacular, with a tactile, artisanal quality that immediately sets it apart. The cap is extremely heavy, solid, and very pleasant to handle, reinforcing the impression of quality and attention to detail. The atomizer is good and reliable, delivering a consistent spray without any issues. Overall, Frammenti is a refined, rose-forward oud fragrance that avoids excess and instead focuses on balance, craftsmanship, and elegance. It is a quiet but confident scent, and another strong example of why Bois 1920 continues to resonate with me as a brand.

What a beauty this is! The scent is wonderful, the bottle and the presentation box are luxurious! I generally love Bois 1920 as a brand, and I own many different bottles. Each is unusual, and unique, special in its own way. Some are showing , some are loud, some are addictive, but all are worth it. Frammenti is a true beauty. It has many notes that I don't smell, that seem to be the accent some other noses smell. Green notes, grapefruit, rhubarb, don't shine for me. The opening, for just a minute or two, remind of a mixture between Mancera Rose Vanille and Delina. Even a bit of musky flavour a la Montale. Luckily, that doesn't last. The next phase, long lasting and elegant, is violets, with rose petals, and vanilla, with violets being dominant. There is a sweet powder that lingers, reminding me of a newborn breath, sweet, laconic, and mixed with baby powder and a delicate vanilla. Eventually more facets show up. This is a masterpiece. The silage is average, with ok lasting powder. The concentration is "parfum", not edt, no edp, not edc. I don't think I own anything similar, and I do have a very large collection. Love love love. Pure elegance and femininity. I own Delina and this is definitely not a dupe. I am not familiar with Delina Exclusif , so I cannot comment on that. Frammenti is in a class of its own. I am impressed. I bought this blindly, it was pricey, but worth every penny.

This smells very very familiar. Very Quentin Bisch inspired. But somehow, it still holds its own with the addition of violets, which in my opinion, saves this fragrance from being just a dupe of the Delinas et al. I do love it, and the longevity is so good . Lots of compliments as well.

This reminds me of Delina Exclusive, Navitus Eidola and Meleg Parfums Very Cherry Chocolate Rose Patchouli, somehow rolled up into one. Absolutely LOVE it. I have the other frags too, so it’s a note family that thoroughly enjoy. I’m in LOVE!!!

This has the same powdery vanilla as Delina Exclusif, but with a juicy black currant, and no rich oud. They aren’t the same, but the powdery vanilla is very reminiscent. It’s a big favorite for me!

It's been too long since I've tested Delina Exclusif but if it smells of Delina plus a a lot of rose then this is a good comparison! What is weird is that Delina doesn't have any Rhubarb & Frammenti doesn't have any Litchi but smell wise they are identical. The sillage on this is vast,the rose is fairly prominent with that rhubarb/Delina aroma following along behind- if it were numbers with the Rose being a 10, I'd say the Rhubarb is a 5. I'd maybe consider this when my Delina runs out as it's a cheaper option than the cost of the PDM 75ml.

I’ll add another echo to the chamber - this basically just smells like Delina Exclusif in a different bottle to me. I’ve sprayed them both next to each other and there are a few subtle differences but to be honest in the air I don’t think most people would be able to tell the difference. Personally, I actually prefer Delina Exclusif myself. Performance is slightly better on Framenti though. Yeh... a little disappointed to be honest - I was expecting something a bit more unique... 😅

Similar to Delina with rhubarb and rose. Not a scent I like -- the rhubarb and grapefruit make it tart and that tartness overpowers the delicate rose. I wish the caramel and vanilla noted in the base were more assertive.

Oh my... Frammenti was a blind buy because I trusted Greta Beth and Gabby who both love this fragrance and I’m beyond glad I trusted their noses to lead me to this gem. I owned Delina Exclusif before and I ended up selling it. Recently I’ve been wondering about buying it again for my collection but something always held me back I mean I was never in love with DE I more so just wanted one of the female parfums de marly fragrances in my collection but DE felt like it was just a like and had nothing special to push it into the love category.. not only does Frammenti actually smell sooo similar to DE but that blackcurrant and the vibrant juiciness makes this not only special but it’s a love. An obsession really because I cannot stop putting this to my nose. It’s everything I wished DE would’ve been and my god do I love a black currant note like there’s nothing better than a good either black currant or orange blossom note and this fragrance is black currant syrup drizzled over DE DNA because that powdery rose is the exact scent that’s in DE. I would absolutely tell someone that you don’t need both because it would be redundant but if you have DE then I’d also say you still need Frammenti because it’s just better than DE.. sorry to the delina lovers who have the Exclusif and the other flanker but this fragrance right here not only is the bottle so stunningly gorgeous but the packaging it lays in is another layer of luxury but then you get to the scent and it’s just superior not only superior to the delina line but it’s possibly the best fruity and slightly powdery fresh rose fragrance I’ve ever smelled. Usually I’m not a big fan of rose unless it’s jammy/syrupy and gourmand but this fresh fruity vibe is just so unique and intoxicating. I love it. Anyone who thinks they want DE.. you need to get your nose on this instead.

This is so similar to Delina Exclusif....only a little bit more fruity. I like it a lot, especially because it has a velvety softness in the drydown. The price point is also more favorable while the ingredients seem to be as good as in Delina Exclusif....the bottle is amazing! I am happy with this purchase. I have bought 2 bottles of Delina and I needed a better dupe, the Armaf clone and almost every other clone have something too harsh...but the 1920 version is so smooth! really good! and the quality of ingredients is about the same because it's a niche house. The projection is good but not as beast mode as Delina Exc.

Delina exclusif, is that you? 👀 This smells very similar to it to my nose and I compared them both side by side since I own exclusif. There are subtle difference I pick up but I do not think that one needs both and performance wise exclusif is much better. I also think it is the better smelling of that two but this isn’t a bad fragrance by any means. It wears closer to the skin but not a skin scent, just in your own bubble. It’s overall not as loud as exclusif so it would be a good option for someone who wanted a tamer version of exclusif.
