The most mass appealing fruity oud I've ever smelled! Personal: 9/10 – Fruity, amber, and oud-lite goodness. It's awesome and super easy to love. Mass appeal: 8.5/10 – Fruity ambers are easy to enjoy and carry a glamorous vibe. Still, the richness may be too sweet for some. Performance: 8/10 – Very strong projection and longevity. This clings and radiates well. Value: 5/10 – Bond pricing is notoriously high, and while this feels luxurious, it doesn’t justify the cost compared to alternatives. But, if you find it discounted or on Reddit, it's a solid bottle. Uniqueness: 7.5/10 – Fruity amber-oud blends are common in niche and designer lines. NoMad is VERY lovable and smooth, but not revolutionary. SCORE: 76/100 Full bottle buy? YES, if I found it discounted. It's one of my favorite fruity ouds. Blind buy? NO, it’s pricey so sample first. Otherwise, it's a very safe fragrance, honestly. Recommend? YES, if you want a glamorous, ambery fruity-oud fragrance and don’t mind Bond pricing. Date night? YES, it’s bold, sweet, and seductive enough for nighttime. Office safe? YES, it's a bit heavy, but I think a couple sprays would still do just fine. Pros: Loud fruity-amber presence, luxurious polish, strong performance, and smooth oud. Cons: Overpriced, a slightly generic DNA, and performance could be better. NoMad fits squarely into Bond’s glamorous, bold style. It's a little bit loud, very rich, and the oud and fruits blend so beautifully together that it *almost* earns its exorbitant price tag. It opens with a smooth red fruit accord, and the pear and vanilla and violet leaf almost morph into an apple note, to my nose. It's surrounded by a smooth, sweet, warm oud that's not barnyard-ey at all. The oud manifests as something a bit dry and papery, which I think is absolutely beautiful contrasted with the sweetness from the top. I think it's a beautiful blend that everyone needs to smell. Truly a masterpiece in the world of easygoing oud fragrances. You're hard pressed to find something this mass appealing and pleasant. Highly recommend. This is going to sound weird, but bear with me: Bond No. 9 NoMad essentially smells like a fictitious love-child of the auras of Manhattan and Dubai. It's got the surging Manhattan energy, with zingy quince and blackcurrant in the opening harkening to a spring day in Central Park, contrasting fragrant rosewater and a rich, woody, hearty oud that transports you to a sheikh's palace. The sandalwood lingering at the very drydown acts as a perfect medium between these two separate vibes. It's an invigorating concoction, warm yet bright, and quite attractive, honestly. An amazing, versatile choice of fragrance year-round. Though I will say, this is a night fragrance, through and through. It gives off peak date night energy, especially for more elegant or urban dates. As with most Bond fragrances, performance isn't an issue. You get a minimum of 10 hours with this fragrance (though the last 3-4 will lack the wider sillage from the first half), and will only need 5-6 sprays to leave a scent trail that might just have people chasing you to ask what your sexy fragrance is (just kidding, that doesn't happen as often in the real world, despite what some fragrance influencers on TikTok might try to tell you). Overall, a beautiful job from Bond No. 9--no surprise there--and a new favorite for nighttime. I'm hoping to get a full bottle soon, when I'm no longer broke (which will probably never happen). Here's a pro-tip for you: since this is not exactly blind buy-safe, you may find more success testing this fragrance on your skin as opposed to on paper. I remember smelling this in Saks on paper and thinking to myself, "What's even special about this?" I wouldn't have ever looked back if not for the fact that the saleswoman gave me a sample that I tried on later that night after the cologne I was previously wearing faded off. Oh, and like Chelsea Nights, the magic is in the drydown, when all the different notes and vibes mesh together into one addictive accord. Okay I promise I'm done. Bottom line: if you're lacking a night fragrance, try this ASAP. More than likely, it'll fit the bill.

Nomad has been my second favorite fragrance overall for a while, after Louis Vuitton Myriad as my favorite. The contrasting tart, fruity notes and the rich more complex oud notes work with my nose in a way that few others have so far. It's been a rough year, because my wife died in January, just a couple weeks before her 34th birthday. We had the funeral on Valentine's Day. A few months before that, I used a few sprays of Nomad right before I went to the liquor store, and as I walked into the store, a random lady walked past me, but she was looking at her phone. I heard her loudly announce "Oooh, you smell REALLY GOOD!", so I stopped and turned to look, and watched as she looked up to see me. Her expression changed to horrified embarrassment, and she quietly added "well, someone smells really good." I just replied "Thanks!", and went on with my mission to buy more vodka for my wife. I'm not sure if the lady at the store expected me to be a woman, rather than a married, middle aged man, or if she was worried that I thought she was hitting on me, but I didn't care and thought it was funny. I told Katie (my wife) about it when I got home, and she thought it was funny too. That's a bittersweet memory now, since my wife's alcoholism is how she died. I hate myself for enabling her to keep killing herself drinking now, and wish that I would've taken her to get help despite her protests. I didn't want her to be mad at me, but now I miss her so bad, even the times she yelled at me for no reason. I would take her screaming at me now over her being gone. My bottle of Nomad is pretty low now, so I barely use it lately, but I still love that stuff. I haven't tried every Bond No 9 fragrance, but I've tried a bunch of them, from the sample set to trying the test bottles at Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Ave, that I visited on vacation a couple years ago. Nomad is my favorite one of theirs so far.

I was honestly prepared not to like NoMad. Rose + oud has become one of those combinations every niche house seems obligated to release sooner or later, and Bond No. 9 prices usually make me roll my eyes before I even smell the thing. But this one surprised me. The opening is fruity, yes, but not in that syrupy “designer perfume trying to be niche” way. I definitely get the pear and black currant, but there’s also something slightly tart and green underneath that keeps it from becoming sticky. On my skin it feels rich without becoming heavy. What I really like is the oud accord. If you're expecting some dark animalic monster, forget it. This is a polished New York oud — smooth, dry, slightly woody, almost clean. The rose is blended well enough that it never turns into one of those loud Middle Eastern-style rose bombs. Everything feels controlled. A few hours in, the amber and vanilla start coming through more, and that’s probably the point where the fragrance becomes really addictive for me. It gets warmer, softer, more elegant. Expensive-smelling without screaming for attention. Performance on me is very good. Not nuclear, but easily all-evening territory, and I still catch traces on clothes the next day. Is it overpriced? Probably a little, like almost every Bond No. 9. But unlike some others from the brand, this one actually smells finished and coherent rather than just loud luxury for the sake of it. I can honestly see why people get hooked on it.

This is the smoothest oud I’ve ever smelled. It smells fantastic. No notes ever stick out, the fragrance simply transitions into its base but it’s still greatly blended throughout the entire lifespan. I think this leans pretty heavily masculine, but unisex enough I suppose. The sales rep had it arranged on the masculine leaning side of fragrances in his booth. This fragrance had me describe it as a very heavy yet fresh fragrance. The fruit contrasts it very nicely but the deepness also comes through. Bond seems to excel at providing a very refined strength/deepness that never feels too much or too strong. I was surprised at how many whiffs I could take of my hand and still want to sniff again for such a scent profile that usually can come off as cloying after a while. As for the occasion that this is appropriate for, I think it’s a 3 season fragrance excluding summer. It should be dark outside when you’re wearing this, or even just cloudy. It’s not a spring morning type of fragrance at all. This is an evening/night fragrance that smells smooth, deep and fruity and will last you your entire night out. For 170 for a 3.4 ounce bottle I think it’s worth it, you’ll get plenty of wears as I can’t imagine this will require many sprays per wear at all. I recommend it and probably would rate it as a 9.

Unpopular opinion (maybe popular): Bond No.9 scents are overpriced. I will only buy perfumes from this house from discounters (I paid $220 from Maxaroma). But, NoMad? I would pay full price for this if I didn’t have a choice. This fragrance....my goodness. BEAUTIFULLY done. The way the fruity top notes blend with oud here is *chefs kiss*. The oud is very smooth. I think someone that’s not a huge fan of oud could enjoy this. The opening is sharp and in your face but it dries down pretty quick into a soft, slightly powdery blend of fruits, florals and woody perfection. It’s the perfect amount of sweet. The fruit notes do fade after a while but you can still pick them up in the dry down. This juice is STRONG. A few sprays is all you need and it will last and project all day/night. I cannot stop smelling myself when I wear this. It’s so sexy and luxurious. This is a date night and going out on the town scent but the type of woman/man that likes to look good and smell expensive all day every day could and definitely would wear this during the day. Fall/winter/spring wear is ideal but because it’s so smooth and soft, I think it could be worn in the summer nights with very limited sprays. I am in love with this fragrance way too much to not wear in year round.

To be frank, NoMad is so expertly composed that I struggled to pry apart and analyze its notes; it is a perfectly seamless fragrance.... but here is my attempt at writing a description: Upon first spray, I am hit with the loveliest blackcurrant I have ever experienced. I’m being so real when I say I’ve never smelt it done so well; it’s a deep, jammy scent with a touch of sweet musk. The pear adds this perfect breath of dewiness, keeping the fragrance light and effervescent, while the quince is golden and slightly honeyed. I get flickers of the rose and oud from the middle notes as well, melding the entire top incredibly. The heart is a gorgeous, subtle, woody oud. It’s slightly smokey; yet, stays soft, resinous, and sweet on my skin. The rose frames the oud perfectly, adding a lush, almost watery nuance keeping it from getting too earthy/smokey. I definitely get a hush of violet leaf too, which adds a fresh, ozonic quality. The orris is fairly indistinguishable but adds a luxurious, velvety feel overall. The dry down is a sensual ambery vanilla. It's honestly stunning: solar, radiant, and has a slight creaminess as well. Simply put, this is such a special parfum; there is a real artistry behind it.

Got this beauty at the recommendation of an SA in Chicago Niemans. Had no idea it existed until a few weeks ago. I am blown away. Such an amazing blend that does oud so well as a supportive note. The rose is also smoothly blended in so it isn't a "rose" scent, per say. That said, I am totally in love and believe this could be my signature scent (in competition with Xerjoff's Opera). When I tell you that I get compliments every single time I wear this and every single place I go when I am wearing it, please me you! The compliments are endless. People pull out pens and paper to write down what it is. Now that the greatness of this scent is out of the way...I am so surprised it is not more hyped on social. Perhaps this brand doesn't play the free for promoters game. I dunno but I think this is a masterpiece. Also, the bottle is stunning. Last thing I will say is that for those who love La Capital by Xerjoff, Nomad layers beautifully with it. They have similar DNA so they compliment each other beautifully.

Ah--it's the pear and black currant from my beloved Simone Anderoli's Pacific Park--but now she's all grown up and mixing with the cleanest oud I think I've experienced, and there's ROSE and the subtle elegance of violet leaf. I don't think this one breaks new ground, as I've smelled lots of musky fruity florals at this point, and I even think, am I being a little basic by liking this?? Is Nomad TOO jaw-achingly sweet and fruity? If you like fruity floral musky combos, Nomad is probably the best one I've experienced. Approachable enough that many will like her, but also sleek and so well blended, you'll admire the refined beauty she's bringing to the table. One caveat--Nomad is sharply sweet and not shy about letting you know--it cuts through the air like a razor headache. She's a silver handled revolver, so spray with caution. I've just about blown myself away with one spritz on my hand. I can see this one earning a stable place in my ever-revolving scent collection.

NoMad is a sexy bombshell of a fragrance that opens with sparkling pear and develops into something luxurious and smoky. I definitely pick up the rose and oud, but this fragrance is so well blended, I can't really discern other individual notes. Within about an hour, it's all smooth, woody amber. I don't get vanilla, but there's definitely a mild sweetness in the dry down. This scent is so rich and addictive, I want to sniff myself all day long when I wear it. The reviewer who compared this to Tom Ford's Cafe Rose is drunk. NoMad is not even Cafe Rose adjacent. The only thing the two fragrances have in common is the rose note. Cafe Rose is flat and lifeless: no oud, no amber, just some sharp spiciness and a bitter coffee note. NoMad, on the other hand, turns heads and shines.

I don't typically go for luxury scents. I don't go out often enough to splurge. If I did, this is the one full bottle I'd beg someone to get me for Christmas/Mother's Day/Birthday! I stopped at Saks to check out new scents that were suggested in my Facebook perfume lover's group to smell BR540. I wasn't impressed. Maybe it just smells bland on me. The consultant had me try other scents from Maison, and said.."I think I have something for you". And pulls this out. Blackcurrant hits me first, likely because Cassis is my favorite floral note. Then the Oud kicks in, and Oud makes me sniff myself often each time I wear it. The Amber and Sandlewood carry the Oud - and these notes mixed together are brilliant. I can't love this enough.

If the retail price ($440/100 ml is pretty steep in my book) is the part that turns you off from trying Nomad, they have it at a discount website called The Perfume Spot for just $150 for a 100 ml test bottle with no cap and like $225 for the whole presentation. I bought the full bottle last year, and it seems legit to me. It smells just like my sample that I had gotten straight from Bond No 9. That's the only discount website that I've used so far. I've ordered a 100 ml bottle of Nomad, a 70 ml bottle of MFK Oud Silk Mood Extrait, and a couple bottles of Montale, and I have no complaints so far.

I sprayed this on my wrist THREE times at 6am this morning and nowhere else . It is now 11:30pm. I’ve sweated all day at work , I’ve took a shower . This scent is STILL lingering on my wrist ! This is one of my best fragrances I’ve EVER had. The protection is crazy . The longevity is CRAZY. I’m in love . The fruity , rose scent in this stays in the opening and dry down. You get a little oud but that fruit , rose duo stays around for the long run. This is unisex so male or female can wear this . When I say grab a bottle of this ASAP.. I mean it . So surprised more people haven’t caught on to it

I really love this fragrance. It opens with a bold burst of oud, rose, and vanilla that immediately grabs your attention. With the first spray, I thought it was going to be a beast in terms of performance... but it wasn't .... After about 1 to 2 hours, it sits very close to the skin, and both the projection and longevity were not as strong as I expected. That said, it's still a beautiful and Middle East vibe scent. It feels elegant and refined, just don’t expect it to last all day or leave a strong trail. Also definitely unisex, though it leans slightly masculine in my opinion. 8.5/10

I am head over heels for NoMad. This is SO good. I never thought I could be an oud girlie, but here I am, in love. The most beautifully sweet & smoothly tempered rose, fruity, oud. Eternal longevity & sillage. This is SO SEXY, strong, rich. It smells like old money. Gives bad bish, ultra femme fatale energy. When I first sprayed this it reminded me of a pretty college girl in the city. She comes from wealth. She is confident & beautiful and knows it. I think this will be my wedding scent. There is no wearing this and not have heads turning.

Love this stuff. Blind bought it, and wasn't sure if it would be lean feminine, but I'd say it's right in the middle as unisex. The oud is very smoothed out, more so in the background. Smells very upscale and luxurious. The fruits with the rose works great together along with the vanilla. Lasts a long time. As it drys down, the oud and the sandlewood come out a bit more. I enjoy many fragrances from Bond No 9, and this is one tha I'm very happy I picked up Performance: 8 Scent: 9 Projection: 8

See, now THIS is why Bond No. 9 is my favourite house; Yes they are very hit or miss, but when they hit they REALLY hit hard. Got a sample at Saks Fifth and went and ordered a bottle online the next day. Only 2 sprays needed. Compliments every single time I wear it without fail. I'd wear it any time of the year but be careful in summer if it's a really hot day this could get a bit cloying I can imagine. Unisex in my opinion. This fragrance is a 10/10.

This made all my dopamin and seratonin go bananas..first spray and is a sticky oud accord on black currant rose and small amount off ambrox, i love black currant so much and that note is pure magic in nomad the in about a minute it gives off a more feminin aura when the pear and vanilla comes in to play, then after 10 min its a rose oud unisex again,sticky Amber oud and wood All that aside..the brand...fake oud...bla bla It smells like heaven!!!

This is an elegant fragrance that exudes wealth and authority! The blend of oud, rose, and vanilla is beautifully constructed. It is definitely a unisex scent; I can easily see how both men and women could wear it. I think this fragrance is better suited for evenings and for the fall or winter seasons. The projection and longevity are moderate for the price, so I would definitely recommend picking this up from a discount retailer.

NoMad has such a great opening, so fruity and juicy. Within a few minutes of spraying, I figured this would be on my want list. After it dried down, it smelled so familiar and I realized it was very much like the dry down of Mula Mula RougeExtreme. As much as I enjoy this one, I won’t purchase another similar perfume. If you don’t already own Mula Mula and you love a fruity oud, try this one out
