There’s something about the musks they use in these Le Gemme fragrances that really appeals to me. I’ve had this one from when it was released and I’ve just rediscovered it. It’s a shame it’s been discontinued as it’s a lovely take on a masculine neroli fragrance that feels fresh, spicy, and musky with a light floral background. Whilst neroli is a ubiquitous note, I actually think this is quite unique where neroli scents are concerned. It’s not a soapy neroli, more a starched white shirt affair, with a nice amount of zing from the ginger and a freshness from the lemongrass, underpinned with a wonderful clean musk. Whilst they don’t smell exactly the same, this is the same genre as Galloway, but, imho, executed much better with more style. Performance is pretty decent too. It’s hard to come by now but well worth a sniff if you can find it.

After getting more familiar with this, I would say the main note in this could be closer referred to as petitgrain, of course the leaves of the neroli tree. It has a more leafy/herbal/spicy neroli twist, as opposed to something soft and floral. I really like this one. Also, I would agree with the reviewer below, that, at least from what I've seen in the US, this line is only sold by Bulgari and Bloomingdales. I would be very suspicious of the supply chain/sourcing if this is found anywhere else in the US or for a cheaper price.

When i wear this it makes me see how senseless my fragrance purchasing habit is. Like, this is it already. I have it. I mean, this is FEE-nominal (phenomenal)! Like, in regards to having to pick one summer frag to rule them all... at least, in terms of a summer signature... it’s between this and Virgin Mint by Carolina Herrera. There are a lot more i REALLY like, but these two are my ultimates. Gentleman below me has summed up my sentiments on this perfectly. Manly, elegant, qualitative... 10/10

Opens as a typical "white" fragrance. Not in a bad way, but only in a way to give you a point of reference. The dry-down is where it gets interesting. It brings forward the Ambergris Accord, which is mimicking that spicy/saltiness that you will find in Ambergris, perhaps also combined with the Neroli (the green, more punchier part of Neroli). Oozes of class and quality. Being an ode to white musk, this naturally would not be a loud fragrance. But performs above average none-the-less.

Addictive narcotic masculine Floriental in a classy league of its own. The perfume opens with notes of the neroli flower and ginger. It moves to a heart of geranium and tonka bean. The perfume settles into a powdery bed of ambergris and musk mallow. Beautifully blended perfume with moderate sillage and excellent longevity. Stunningly elegant and sensual. Enjoy with caution!

I get nearly 80% musk and ambergris, noticeable neroli, and just traces of the other notes. Long lasting but not much projection.

This is discontinued? Dang I missed out on this one I remember seeing it at Bloomingdale’s on Lond island and actually passed it up for Tygar. I remember smelling so many things that day and it got lost prob due to nose fatigue. Now I have a 10 ml sample and it’s really great. A soft neroli with a mild soft citrus as well ginger is there but not overly spicy and the musk is that clean slightly powdery type adding more to the softness. I was able to order one more 10 ml decant as this is allegedly discontinued and I will be saving it for special occasions come this spring and summer since I won’t get to wear it liberally. If you can find it go for it. I love and enjoy Tygar as it’s a great frag but this in my opinion is better a bit more classy and not having that cologne bro vibe like Tygar. I’d say for reference although this does not smell like Amouage reflection man it has Tahoe similar ethereal feel and texture. The closest thing I can think of this reminding me of is Givenchy gentleman cologne. In the white bottle. They prob do not smell the same side by side. But it’s what I think of smelling this. Well done.

Has the same punchy lemongrass accord as in LV's Cactus Garden, also done by Cavallier. This one opens fresh and green. Slightly citric, near soapy. After a few minutes the musk and ambergris dominate. At times a bit synthetic smelling but still pleasant. The white musk rounds off any rough edges after say 30 minutes. All in all, nicely done green musk scent with decent enough performance. 7/10

I think this one has the same top note of Tamarine which is the green mandarin scent base, like Galloway by Parfum de Marly and White by Lalique. Citrusy and woody, and white musk, and Ambroxan. Clean and decent.

Not bad. The citrus/salt vibe reminds me of Creed Erolfa. Maybe a bit spicier and more complex, but in the same vein.
