CK One Summer 2007

To myself, this was the best ever CK One summer scent along with the 2005 vintage. This scent was just so dang good, compliments galore. It seemed to me 2010, and previous years vintages the longevity of these little beauties was decent, since 2011 and newer vintages, the longevity was really below average. Not sure if anything changed that year or not. Oh well, I'm glad they still make these. Although for the $100 Ebay pricetag I haven't decided if I'll replace this little gem or not. This is a pretty awesome smell. It's great. Sweet enough for a women, but I think its deep undertones made it perfectly good for a man, if not better. The woods notes are perfect to accent the lemony/orangey notes. As odd as it is, I don't smell anything resembling watermelon until the dry down, hours later. It's a sweet smell barely noticeable combined with the veviter. I also get a smell of honeysuckle in there somewhere. I've never smelt orris root, guaiac wood, or marigold. It must be one of those.

This was my second ever CK fragrance. Absolutely loved it - probably one of the best citrus offerings from the CK One Summer line. Good projection and worked extremely well in hot weather. Unisex. The bottle I purchased didn't come with the atomiser though, and sadly one day I accidentally dropped it and lost 95% of its contents. I was absolutely gutted. I dream of finding and purchasing another one online one day, although the chances are extremely slim. This one was a definite keeper for me. 9.5/10

I am not a fan of fruity-citrusy summer fragrances but this has been my go-to scent in the summer since 2007. Definitely unisex. Too bad the other CK One summer editions were a miss for me. Although had to moderate my usage in the past couple of years, since I'm on my last vintage bottle at the moment.

In 2007, my mom and I bought it at Duty Free, both were delighted, even though I was 11 years old back then. We wore it together. Years later we remembered the fragrance just by looking at the already empty matte bottle. Juicy citrus perfume. Wish I could try it once again!
