very sweet frangipane/tiare flower when it went on with a little hint of medicinal quality in the drydown but not really eucalyptus or petitgrain, not that herbal; orange blossom, gardenia, tuberose with a little musk and slight woodiness in the base; liked the top and middle better than the drydown, somewhat powdery; I would label this mostly an orange blossom perfum, very pretty for the $10 I paid for it but not worth the $60 it is selling for, EDT burns off fast

I always get compliments on this perfume. Smells like tropical gardenia/coconut/sea notes vibe. Good silage and longevity for a tropical scent. Good value as well.

If you sniff the nozzle, it smells a little like Mugler's Alien Essence Absolue. Even on skin, I think it must have some note in common. It's like a distant relative, perhaps. This is like a bubblegummy tuberose with a slight root beer smell, at least to me. It smells slightly dated, which I don't mind at all. Even at first spray and the first half hour, I don't get any of of the listed top notes. I just smell tuberose and root beer. I do sort of like it though.

Very pretty scent, but I’m disappointed with the sillage. The projection is fairly weak, so this has become something that I only reach for before heading out the door to run errands. Wouldn’t suggest purchasing this at retail price, but not a bad scent to add to your collection if you’re able to get it on sale.

I haven’t even been wearing this for 30 minutes but I will say that it is already an interesting one. It’s definitely not a tropical or beachy monoi. This is soft and very natural and earthy, while strolling through eucalyptus trees and guaiac wood. I personally love eucalyptus so you must like it to enjoy this perfume. I can pick up on the cedar and a little bit of the petitgrain, the vanilla is also soft and natural, and there is a lovely sandalwood in here too. All around, this is a beautiful perfume and it reminds me of something but I can’t put my finger on it. I don’t know if it’s a place or a memory that it reminds me of. Edit: I have a bottle of Wicked Wahine coming in the post, and while I have not smelled that before, I sort of imagine it's in the same genre of white florals as Carol's Daughter: the earthier variety.

I bought this and Manoi Ora in an attempt to find an affordable alternative to House of Bo La Mar (both have gardenia, sea notes, and coconut) and both ended up smelling better. From what I can tell these are discontinued now but get a bottle secondhand if you can. This is an ideal summer fragrance.
