Pour Un Homme de Caron Le Soir

pleasantly surprised!! opens with fluffy vanillic lavender topped with distinct fresh wood (oak) and green touch from cyprus, violet leaf nuances, comforting with dewy nature edge etc. Then takes a smooth creamy-powdery turn with orris coming thru, top notes rounded down, lavender-vanilla darkens and thickens a little. Not picking up incense/ambroxan distinctly yet, until after a few hours when they pop more as the other notes fade, with subtle nuances of spices like cardamom/pink pepper. Its nicely layered and I’m reminded of various scents at different points- myrrh and tonka, DHI, la nuit de l’homme, armani codes, even 40 knots and fking fabulous (havent smelt luna rossa). Overall this is a gorgeous smooth, dark (but not overwhelmingly), classy, effortlessly sensual scent with addictive components and just enough complexity. could benefit from being slightly more potent but nevertheless a perfect signature scent. looking forward to seeing if this changes with maceration,12 hours in its a strong skin scent so longevity is good. as a girl id say unisex leaning masculine. its a very well done subdued sexy. extremely versatile for layering too. my brother said it smells powdery like makeup/lipstick from the nozzle, true, but when sprayed its a little different. it becomes an elegant masculine powdery a few hours into wear

I was initially skeptical when I saw that Caron released a fragrance like this, thinking it would be a mere sellout to a tired designer trend of iris, sweet vanilla, and ambroxan. I am happy to say that Caron retains its classy French perfume house roots while successfully producing modern perfumes of great quality. The backbone of this fragrance is the original Pour un Homme lavender note with unsweetened vanilla. If you are familiar with the original, it’s unmistakable. It’s been described as a “Play-Doh note” and yes, that isn’t far off! But it is the signature accord in this line and I’m so glad they kept it. Soir adds a lovely supporting cast of iris, woods, and a llght smokiness. None of these notes dominate or intrude like they might in a lesser perfume house release. They are blended so well that the lavender remains the star- quite a feat given the modern penchant for syrupy sexy sweet men’s fragrances. This one never goes that direction, retaining a sophisticated subtlety throughout. This one probably won’t appeal to the bruhs looking for room-filling male enhancement. With recent offerings of Soir, Pour un Homme l’Eau, and Aimez Moi Comme Je Suis, it seems Caron is on a great track for the future.

My deep love for Caron Pour un Homme (PuH) comes from my dad. I've always enjoyed its light, gentle aroma. Recently, while looking to get a new bottle, I stumbled upon Le Soir. I read somewhere that it is supposed to be a modern rendition of PuH. I wanted to see how a modern rendition of PuH would smell, so I bought Le Soir instead. With great anticipation, I received Le Soir yesterday, and suffice it to say, the fragrance is a revelation. Le Soir takes the timeless elegance of PuH and enriches it with woody nuances that make the scent more enveloping, rendering the original almost monotonous in comparison. For those in search of a fragrance that pays homage to the classic while offering a novel twist, Le Soir proves to be a splendid choice. I wholeheartedly recommend it. EDIT (23.03.2024): After owning this perfume for a while, I have to say that I reach for it way less than as my initial impression above would suggest. It gives me vibes of Paco Rabanne One Million that I don't like that much. It's definitely more modern smelling than the original PuH, but not as classy.

Got the Le Soir sample with my fragrance purchase and I was kinda disappointed at first (because I thought Caron was a boring brand that makes meh fragrances), then I also looked at its rating online and my feeling about it got even worse. But then I tried it by spraying it on my shirt and I instantly fell in love with it. It is incredibly beautiful to me. It is quite potent too, even though it was only from a vial bottle. I can detect vanilla, lavender, incense, orris/iris, and oak. It is blended gorgeously and now I want to explore more from Caron because of how incredible it is. It smells a bit like Prada Luna Rossa Black, Dior Homme/Givenchy Gentleman EDP, and some other fragrances of the same type. This one is very smooth though, much smoother than Luna Rossa Black to me. Too bad it is not available to buy here as it is so rare, I couldn't even buy a sample of it, so I am totally lucky to even get this as a sample. I bet no one (or almost no one) in my country has tried this fragrance before. It is a hidden treasure for sure.

The og Caron PuHdC is one of my all time faves. This flanker is a kind of 21st century, DHI-inspired rendition of the original. I'm tempted to say that if you like PuHdC, as well as DHI and/or any of it's many cousins in designer-world, then this is 100% blind buy safe. For me, this is better than any similar Givenchy offering, and only slightly behind DHI. Maybe on par with Prada L'Homme Intense. Longevity is decent enough, and the profile is basically perfect; heavy lavender with tons of orris and a woody base. No one will write home about originality here, but so what. This is an excellent offering from a storied house, and you'll exude an air of sophistication and good taste while wearing it.

Another beautiful fragrance from the house of Caron. caron products are not very many and varied In fact, this company does not produce so much new But it has one of the masterpieces in the history of perfumery, the great Pour un homme Le Soir is pleasant, soft and cozy. has some similarity with givenchy gentleman eau de parfum its like mix of pour un homme and givenchy gentleman parfum. Lavender is so nice. soft vanilla and chocolate notes are detectable right after lavender fades out. longevity and sillage are both acceptable but it is not an atomic thing like red tobacco or rogue mousse illumini which i already got them. absolutely deserve a try.

This thing is pure class and it smells like heaven. The only problem, it's a "me" problem.I go nose blind after 2 hours just as I do with Lunarosa Black, they both share a concrete/asphalt very addicting note from the Tonka/Amber combo that just disappears in my nose. It is only $35 for the 75 ml so I don't care, you should definitely get this one if like Lunarosa Black. After some "maceration", the performance got way better, it is clearly not a monster but I can smell it for a good 7 hours with a mellow projection. High quality underrated cheapie.

My night out fragrance. Dark and woody but also sweet. Sweeter than i normally like but it works here. It's deep and rich and easy to sink into. It's caron so the lavender is of course fantastic. Doesn't feel super elegant to me though. More of a party vibe. Labeled as EDP Intense and that's no joke. One good spray is plenty and fairly loud. 2 sprays is almost overwhelming to me. I can even smell it on me into the following day. This makes it a fantastic value and the bottle will probably last me forever as it's not at all an everyday scent for me.

This is everything I wanted Paco Rabanne Invictus Victory to be. Victory was so promising but had a deoderant feel at its core and then got worse when it landed on its cheap incense note. Here all the cheap stuff from Victory is gone, replaced with quality. I get a similar dark woody vanilla brightened by clean lavender and ambroxan with green nuances from violet leaf, simmering down to chocolatey incensey goodness always lifted by the ambroxan. Thankfully the iris is very subtle, as there is only so many iris fragrances I can handle.

Gorgeous but simple. Nothing extravagant. A dusty slightly dark lavender. A touch of orris root and oak behind a vanillic, mostly tonka base. Think very much of Tom Ford Lavender Extreme or Hermetica Lavicense but with the vanillic aspect turned down and more dustiness. Also about 2/3 the volume with a good decent staying power. Very much a gentleman’s business version of the aforementioned selling for about the right price.

Lovely scent, if you like the Bvlgari Black DNA, which Luna Rossa Black also carries a big inspiration from, you will most likely be in love with this scent. I am extremely happy to have it in my collection, adding one more scent to my stable of this type of DNA. As @Tremere says, the votes on longevity is a off, this stays on my skin above 12+ hours, silage is somewhat correct, but I do get whiffs after 12+ hours.

There is something magical and addictive about this perfume. Few months ago I was in a one frag shop and I tested most Caron creation. I was pleasantly in shock how gorgeously perfumes are blended. They all got Caron vintage classy french signature but still interesting, timless and modrn. It not all bad about Rotchild then. They did oustanding job at Caron. Their inhouse perfumer was top addition for the brand.

Second day of owing this today, at work one of the guys said 'Damn what do you have on, it smells like a brothel' 😄 🤣 😂 I guess that's a good thing? 😄 Anyway, lovely smelling perfume. Wish it was a tad darker and longer lasting. It is an intimate type perfume. Rating so far is 8/10

A woman loving aromatic fragrances and lavender may easily wear this beauty. I prefer it over Pour Un Homme de Caron original. I found it at 75€ for 125 ml online, and I will be emptying the bottle quickly, it can be worn any season...

Smooth,Modern,Night time scent with quality. This is Easily way better blended than most Parfums at this price point. Solid longevity 8+ hours on skin for me. This hobby would be so more enjoyable if this was the quality standard.

If you work in an office, are 35+ and like the Givenchy Gentleman, Society or Dior Gimme line, just buy it. Buy it. Don't think about it, just buy it. Then come here and thank me👍

Soft smooth easy to use. I love Pour un homme de Caron. Le soir has everything Pour un homme de Caron has, but more aromatic and a bit darker. A love for me.❤️

This one has grown on me, if they fixed the opening this would be an absolute masterpiece. Without a doubt This became one of the best purchases I made in 2023. How I'd describe the fragrance. Grab a stiff drink as this is going to be silly The opening is like you're a child playing with play dough, you can smell waxy candles in the background. We're off to a great start, aren't we? No? Ok, I'm not alone! By the time it starts to dry down, it's like someone told the child to go play outside. It's getting darker out. Then give steroids to the poweriessness of the original Armani Code EDT. Now you're running around in a lavender field. It's quite an aromatic type of lavender. There are touches of sweetness that poke its head up every so often. This is far from a Paco Rabanne alleged "for him" fragrance such as Invictus EDT so don't worry. The heart and base notes come off with this green feel from the cypress and the woodiness of the oak. There's a smokiness to this as if someone is warming their house. It's so far in the distance that you may not notice the person lit the fireplace. The orris root (iris) is still there. DON'T WORRY, IT'S STILL THERE. calm down. Breathe slowly. It's so far in the background the first few wears that people may not notice it It gives a smooth touch at the very end of the fragrance. More so when the fragrance dries down. It took 3 months to really spot the violet leaf, tonka bean, or vanilla. They were really well hidden. It's like the child in that lavender fields little brother he's playing with. Darn, he's good at hide and go seek! Three fragrances this reminds me of are: 1) - La Nuit De L'homme - YSL or Salvatore Ferragamo F Black - the spiciness 2) - Armani - Code EDT (original) - the powderiness. Le Soir is way more powdery 3) - Givenchy - Gentleman EDP - the background you can see the similarities in how they used the "world's greatest" note iris in the background Compared to Givenchy Gentleman EDP as it was the #1 comparison when I wrote this. Some of these are splitting hairs, some aren't. I'll start off by saying this is not a clone in any way. Side by side on our hands if we sprayed them you'd know the difference. Even a friend or family member who isn't into fragrances will be able to tell these apart. Gentleman EDP has a better opening Gentleman EDP is not as grown up, it's way easier to wear Gentleman EDP is louder - not by much Gentleman EDP smells more expensive to me Gentleman EDP is sweeter in the opening , though by the dry down they are very similar Both will last 8-10 hours easily. Both are spicy - I like the spices used in Gentleman EDP more Le Soir has that very, very slight smoky touch that gentleman doesn't for definition Le Soir is slightly more grown up and mature of the two Le Soir has way more lavender in it As crazy as it sounds though the last 2 years my opinion has changed where I prefer Le Soir. If you spray this on about 20-30 minutes before you go anywhere this could be an easy one to wear, date nights as it does get quite "sexy" as one youtuber put it. Both are absolutely worth owning. On a bad day Gentleman EDP reminds me of a bag of marshmallows. Final thoughts. You'll either love it or hate it due to that opening as no one wants to smell like a kindergarten school teacher or candle maker. If you get past that it lives up to the name. It's a dark, sexy, night time fragrance. You'll pull people in. It's not sweet enough to go clubbing with but it absolutely has its purpose. Most importantly you've got to love lavender and powdery scents. I recently picked up Prada Luna Rossa Black and Le Soir is far better than it, but, if you like one you'll like the other.

As I said in my previous review of Pour Un Homme Le Matin, I'm a guy in my twenties, so I don't know Caron and their perfumes. I tried this one on me today and it's really beautiful... I'm surprised no one mentioned Yves Saint-Laurent La Nuit De L'Homme in the comments or in the "Reminds me" section, because it's very close in my opinion! To me, Pour Un Homme Le Soir is a take on YSL La Nuit De L'Homme EDT/Bleu Electrique (thanks to the lavender) with an iris twist, a bit reminiscent of Prada Luna Rossa Black and Givenchy Gentleman Eau de Parfum. Like 80% LNDLH and 20% Luna Rossa Black/Gentleman EDP. I do, however, much prefer La Nuit De L'Homme Bleu Electrique (one of my all-time favorite perfumes by far), but I prefer Pour Un Homme Le Soir to the other two Prada and Givenchy perfumes mentioned above. It's a beautiful perfume, perfect for a date night. I get decent performance out of it, better than LNDLH EDT but less than Bleu Electrique (this one performs surprisingly well on me). I highly recommend you give it a try if you can, as it can be a good YSL La Nuit De L'Homme twist/replacement for those who have performance issues with the EDT and can't get Bleu Electrique, or just want to have a nice fragrance in the same vein.

Instantly enjoyed this upon spraying.... To be fair I really enjoyed Prada Luna Rossa Black but wound up selling it. I rather regretted that but I sold the whole lineup in a bundle deal. I got a Caron bundle deal instead and this was one of them inside. It has a lot of characteristics of Prada Black, Prada Lhomme Intense, DHI and Invictus Victory Elixir (vanilla). Its really good and I do not think anyone would truly complain. It is an evening wear and unsure on longevity as I am only in the first 30 minutes. It definitely seems like one I will wear and has a great profile, albeit not original. There definitely are others with similar profile but they also are hype beasts or more well known than Caron. Definitely worth getting your nose on if you enjoy the other mentioned fragrances. Edit: 30 minutes later I barely smelled this. Thinking I went nose blind. I am an over sprayer soooo

This is a 'like' after two wears, but I can easily see this turning into a LOVE. The original PUH is my all-time favorite fragrance, and its understandable why its been a classic for almost 100 years. For me, its perfectly balanced between the lavender and the vanilla. I've had the Parfum, which was nice but was unnecessarily strong for my taste. I had the Sport, which so many people seem to like, but smelt like window cleaner on me. After a friend (whose opinion I trust) spoke highly of Le Soir (a few glasses of wine may have factored in, TBH). I get the connection to PUH at the beginning, then changes a bit with the sweeter, woodier notes, then seems to come back to the classic in its drydown (but less herbal, more tonka. Its not too loud or strong (which I appreciate) and very comfortable, cozy. A lovely, charming scent.

Wow! Such a nice fragrance! I have the Caron pour un homme sport, it was also a blind buy bought few years ago and from that moment Caron appeared to my radar. A couple a days ago I accidentally came across this and Le Matin which were available on a website in a tester version(fragranza) at a good price (50 euros). With an extra 5% disccount and I bought both of them for 95 euros. What a purchase! This one is like a mix of Prada Black which I also have and like + Dior homme intense and Armani code(I'd say something like 70% prada black and the rest dior homme intense and Code). Less than 50 euros for 125 ml for this juice it's incredible. The performances are also very good. In conclusion, this house is a sleeper, underatted by a lot of people and that's a good thing :) On a scale from 1 to 10 i'll give it an 8

As a longtime Pour Un Homme aficionado, I was sceptical when this EDP appeared. In my opinion Le Matin spoiled the lavender-vanilla blend of the original EDT with an intrusive dose of geranium, but Le Soir not only consolidates the strength of the original mix, but adds a layer of sweetness in the orris-incense combo, which makes this fragrance deserving of consideration in its own right. It is the lovechild of Pour Un Homme and Givenchy Gentleman, placing Le Soir proudly in the vanguard of contemporary fougeres which aren't ashamed of their classic past. Having said all that, I feel that Le Soir is too cloyingly sweet for regular wear. I still prefer the subtler and simpler notes of PUH EDT - The Original and Best!

Caron is a lesser known and very unhyped niche house. I think this is a pretty good fragrance from the house. You get a very woody fragrance, with vanilla and lavender. It’s a very wearable niche scent, and a pretty unique woody fragrance. It’s a great scent to wear for formal occasions. This fragrance is a scent to wear for winter and fall. It lasts around 9 hours and moderately projects. However, at this price point I think that there are many fragrances which are better. There are more unique woody fragrances at this price point. But overall the scent itself is very likable and wearable. Scene: 9 Longevity: 8 Projection: 7 Value: 7 Overall: 8

Upon experiencing this Caron, its intense, gourmand however remains wearable, has that sparkle on the skin from the use of lavender & oak. there is something really addictive about this composition, could be the usage of ambroxan, violet & ethyl maltol in the heart phase that make this standout from the other similar releases. far in the dry down you get this cosy smooth tonka effect that you can find similarly in the dry down of guerlain tonka imperiale, tom ford tobbaco vanille, pdm carlisle, it’s present but dialed down not as intense as the ones mentioned.

This one is an absolute hidden gem. Not talked about a lot but I think this one is up there with all of its competitors. When it comes to nighttime iris scents I'm taking this over some of the heavy hitters. It has that powdery iris but with the Caron DNA and just an overall suave nature to it. It really is one of the best iris scents out there. One thing to point out is that this fragrance when smelled up close, is a little off-putting for some reason. Don't know why. However, the sillage is absolutely phenomenal. 9/10

It is certainly a good fragrance — dark, sweet, and easy to love. Crystalline lavendery sheen over a musky vanilla. I think it actually reminds me of La Nuit de L’Homme more than it does Prada Luna Rossa Black, but I definitely see a lineage with both. If I’m going to be a slight voice of dissent, however, I think the recent wild natural lavender flanker Caron Pour Un Homme Le Parfum is more enigmatic and all around more interesting. This one feels a bit safe and tame by comparison. Still enjoy it. 8.1/10

Its a classy dark fragrance but not done to a perfection. It misses a note done to a perfection so it is less sexy but more versatille. Nice combination of vanilla and levandure. For the price its ok but not a special or a signature sent projection and longetivity are ok i would rate this as a weak 7/10 you will smell nice but not a headturner or sexy

Well, i have samples of both le soir and le matin. Le Soir is nothing more than many other contemporary iris based scents. This one is closer to Givenchy take on this theme, and, believe it or not, even more similar to Invictus Victory. A kind of a smoky orris root smell with a soft vanilla background. The lavender is just present in the first seconds of the fragrance. It doesn't smell nothing like the OG and i don't care for this one, since is just very similar to invictus victory and a bit of givenchy gentleman edp. This is my first impressions, though. BTW, FRAGRANTICA, the perfumer is Jean Jacques and not Jean Jacque. That name doesn't exist.

This review is based only on a sample, but I will say up front that I will write more in the near future about this fragrance because I am almost certainly picking up a bottle as soon as finances allow... I received the sample from Caron along with one of the parfum. I was very skeptical about it, frankly. It seemed like another opportunistic flanker, perhaps aimed at younger wearers, a little overdressed/overcomplicated/prepossessing, and probably intrusively synthetic smelling... Anyway, I scrubbed it off the first time around for the unforgivable crime of not being Caron Pour un Homme all over again! A few months later, I tried it again on a whim. In some ways, everything I worried about might have been there to some degree, but I didn't care. There was something about it that made me excited to wear fragrance again (it has been a while since I felt this way.) Reading midget 11's review below, I find myself in agreement with the basic progressions sketched out there. I personally find the opening a bit of an acquired taste, mixing a softened version of the raw Caron pour un Homme with various green edges and textures. This is where the 'oak' appears (more on that in a minute.) I suppose there could be cypress there too. In my more over-analytical moments, I see these as part of a deconstructed version of the green, effervescent and herbal aspects of the original EDT. I could even imagine the chilly steeliness of that brutal overdose of lavender in the original being hinted at by the cool and rather hollow 'violet leaf' iones. As with so many EDP's the notion of 'depth' is partly suggested by doubling down on warm, dark effects -- in this case a lot of tonka, which makes it feel like many fragrances aimed at young men with a sweet tooth. So far, it sounds like I'm not pleased, but actually what impresses me is that this is all smoothed out quite competently by the buttery orris note that takes us right into the heart of the fragrance there is something quite irresistible, almost myrrh-like -- a cream soda sweetness ...If I had to guess I'd say opponax, AKA 'sweet myrrh.' Whatever it is, it generates a sillage that smells even better than what registers on the skin - a soapy, delicious amber that reminds me of the much-missed 2012 version of Eau Sauvage Parfum, a fragrance I discovered almost too soon and that still find myself mourning from time to time. Like that fragrance, this one relies on a touch of vanilla to round it out and, of course, take us back to the progression of the classic Pour un Homme. Now, a word about the oak... I recently moved to a neighbourhood with a park featuring many old oaks. I walk my dogs there early in the morning and late at night, and can pick up the scent of oak trees very clearly at those hours -- a more complex scent than, say, maple, but this will give you some idea of the ballpark: woody with a subtle vanilla sweetness and a green edge. It's a great note here, and truly unexpected. It takes some getting used to IMO, but harmonizes well with the orris note that comes to the fore around this time to smooth things out. Sophie Normand's sketch of the base sounds right to me: "We do find vanilla and ethyl vanillin here, which flirt with tonka bean and labdanum. A few touches of guaiac wood stretch out the dark notes of oak wood, while Iso E super brings softness and texture to the whole." I generally don't care for Iso E as a noticeably ingredient (I prefer it discreetly functional), but here it's under control -- one more example of the careful blending that has made me come to appreciate and respect this fragrance.

This is probably the only really good addition, in my opinion, that the present parfumeur, Jean Jacques, has added to the house of Caron. It's not kind to wish ill of others or their career, but I must admit that I look forward to the time when Caron decides to let another parfumeur take over. One of the biggest issues I have with Jean Jacques' creations is that I find them too saccharine, not just sweet, but that feeling of sweetness one gets from drinking a light product full of aspartame. It's probably very modern, and Jean Jacques is possibly just a man of his time, but I honestly find it a sorry trend - or perhaps I'm just getting old. Caron Le Soir, for that matter, is really a tad too saccharine for my taste as well - yet, it's stumbling close to be something of a stroke of genius. The idea of creating an evening version of the masterpiece that is Pour Un Homme de Caron is simply great. By the addition of orris, oak and a subtle incense, the mis en scene really invokes a nighttime stroll. Even the cypress and violet leaf accentuates the twilight air, like a scent of evening dew condensing on the foliage. Le Soir is dark, more mysterious and alluring, yet it retains a lot of the warm sophistication and trustworthy collectedness that the original PUH emanates - only the said saccharine aspect fails me here, as it turns the titular 'homme'' somewhat into one of those teenagers on their way to a club, hoping that smelling candylike enough will lure another clubber to take a bite. Besides, the aspartame sweetness combines with the coumarin in a way that makes the opening of Le Soir smell like the infamous play dough - which I never got from the original PUH - and which doesn't help maturing the image from a tipsy teen. Luckily, the saccharine scent fades halfways through the wearing, making room for the tonka and vanilla, and thus the more mature sweetness of my original PUH. I am left with a dry down almost as genius as the idea of Le Soir itself was: A breeze of midnight air above the timeless base of dry lavender, tonka and vanilla; pour un homme.

It took me six months to fully accept it. In short, I would describe the scent as follows. The opening is sharp herbal lavender, not floral, with an ash like note rather than smoke. This is basically the main character of the fragrance. After these two notes, there is a very light smoky nuance that is barely noticeable. I do not detect the other listed notes. As for vanilla, it is 0 percent present, with no effect at all. The fragrance is very dry, with no sweetness whatsoever. I consider it distinctive, but as others have said, it is not well rounded. It is somewhat sharp and requires tolerance during some phases. However, once it reaches its peak, it becomes unique, giving herbal lavender plus ash plus very light smoke. It does not remind me at all of Gentleman or any iris based fragrances, as there is no powdery note at all. Scent uniqueness 8.4/10 It is a distinctive scent and I have not smelled anything similar before. Overall rating 7/10 The reason is that it is sharp in some stages, difficult to accept, and becomes suffocating if over sprayed.

تست امشب دُ کغن لُ سواق . به معنیه عصرگاهی . با پیوستن ژان ژاک انگار روحی تو برند کارون دمیده شده . کارون همون ققنوس برخاسته از خاکستره . کم لطفی داره میشه به تولیدات جدید کارون . البته حضور کمرنگ تو مارکت ایرانی و سیاست های قیمت‌گذاری توسط مالکین جدید کارون هم بی تاثیر نیست . با این حال کارون هنوزم همون گردن کلفته عطر سازیه که یک قرن با صلابت شونه به شونه مارکهای بزرگ قدم برداشته . ل سواق آخرین فلنکر از سری پور ان اوم افسانه ای ادکلنی تو کلاس بویایی فوژه هست که با حفظ اصالت اکورد این لاین مدرنیزه شده . پور ان اوم اصلی بر سه اصل لاوندر وانیل و موسک استواره که تو این نسخه همون دی ان ای حفظ شده ولی با اضافه شدن کره زنبق حس لوکسی به خودش گرفته و نقش آفرینی امبرکسان حالتی مدرن و امروزی . شروع ل سواق با رایحه لاوندر و کره زنبق و وانیله ی استارت زیبا و دلفریب که شباهت بسیار زیادی به لاین محبوب دیور اوم داره . تو قلب ادکلن حس تلخ و سنتتیک کومارین و امبرکسان و حس پودریه موسک سفید در کنار فضای گلی و علفی لاوندر خیلی محسوسه . حالت پودری و تمیزیه موسک سفید خیلی غالبه رو کلییات رایحه که بسیار دلچسب و زیباست هرچی به سمت درای داون ل سواق پیش میریم حالتی سبز و چوبی و مرطوبی به خودش میگیره . که از برگ بنفشه و سایپرسه . ل سواق رایحه جذاب و شیک و مهربونی داره کیفیت بسیار خوب و بلند زیبایی داره پرفورمنس مطلوبی داره گرچه پخش بوی خیلی بالایی نداره ولی تا ساعتها می‌تونه هاله ای معطر و شیک و رسمی رو بوجود بیاره . اگه از لاین دیور اوم و لاین نیو جنتلمن ژیوانشی و لاین ولنتینو اومو لذت میبرید ل سواق نظرتونو خیلی جلب می‌کنه .

This sticks a bit closer to the original than Le Matin does. The addition of an iris note gives it a slightly soapier character, but the iris seems muted here compared to designers like the Prada L'homme, Dior Homme, or Givenchy Gentleman lines. I'd say the biggest difference compared to the original Pour Un Homme is rather in the addition of an unmistakable woody, smoky side. This means that, like Le Matin, it has a bit more personality than the really very soft original. It's nothing too radical though, on the whole the scent remains relatively discreet and retro.

Yes there is a slight playdough vibe but nowhere near the same level as I've picked up from some other fragrances where nobody seems to highlight it (e.g. Invictus Victory Elixir). For me this is like an amped up YSL LNDL. It's rounded, warming, enveloping, and somewhat sensual and intoxicating. Pleased with this, something different from the rest of my collection - and all for under £40.

Really nice - opens with the classic lavender Caron is known for but this time around you’re hit with a blend of Vanilla, Orris and Lavender. It’s buttery and kind of dense but also airy. Silage is fantastic! Performance is great too, I can detect it moving around me for hours. This is definitely a nice wear and pretty linear from start to finish.

This gives off massive play-dough vibes. Creamy, thick, fluffy vanilla lavender combo. The oak and cypress give a woody green edge to it. Smells mature and slightly old school. The iris is there but not a key player. Not getting much incense, violet leaf, or tonka bean as of now. It’s good albeit not spectacular. It’s a comfort fragrance I’d say.

Finally got my nose on this. Remember A*Men Pure Tonka? Well, Pour Le Soir is it's more subdued less spicy iris wearing cousin. The opening is pure Play-Dough that evolves into a tonka, lavender and vanilla dry down. It is good but not necessarily a must have, I find Aimez Moi Comme Je Suis as a more interesting option.

Tried it today, reminded me instantly of Dior Homme/Intense & the Valentino Uomo line. If you like iris/orris notes in dark amber type fragrances it is worth trying for sure, it's not really my thing right now. I definitely preferred the 'Matin' to the 'Soir' of this new duo of Caron scents.

Little bit of Luna Rossa Black, little bit of DHI. Nice projection for a couple of hours, lingers on skin for waaay longer than the votes here would imply, at least on me. Still can clearly smell it with nose on skin 12 hours later.

WOW ! I wore the original for over a decade. Praying this one is good. Probably won't be but thanks for the wild ride anyway.

I hope it's not another beautiful banality... Looking at the notes it can be both great or nothing, depends on blending.

OMG, Caron! Don’t do this. Hope the sales justify such an unnecessary release, because the perfume itself does not.

A swipe of Narciso Rodriguez Musc Oil for Him layered with a solid spritz of Reflection Man. This has lift.

Well this is a fragrance I definitely don't need. I have 5 out of the first 6 in the similar list. LOL

Classy: quality ingredients if a little soft. Cost me £33 for 75ml. I consider it money well spent.

I thought I'd like it because I like orris but it was so terrible, way too strong.
