With a somewhat rough texture. The lactonic accord is there to provide the smoothness but comes across somewhat synthetic and cloying and I could have done without it. There is some cinnamon in the opening that fades away and after that its fairly linear. I cannot smell any rose at all despite all the rosy notes listed. So Major notes to my nose: Australian sandalwood, leather, milk, cinnamon. I get good projection from this. Easily the loudest from 6 new Carons I tried. Longevity seems also decent. I would compare this to Louis Vuitton's Au Hasard. But thicker, more sensual and overall better done imo. Pricing is ok. Hopefully they show up at discounters at one point.

Based on a quick first impression on skin, it's warm, slightly powdery, there's a bit of dry smokey cuminy spices in there. So, a hint of mystery. The overall feel is warm, soft, comforting, maybe like a mature feminine skin. There's 2-3 moves, so it's relatively simple. Easily approachable and easy to wear. It's classy, but simple. Restrained. Wears in a low projection and isn't obtrusive. There's a bit of classic french lady about it. If it were Guerlain this would only be a base accord. It's competent, just not particularly exciting. Pretty good all-rounder for casual/office, day/night, summer/winter. I'm not really recommending anyone actively go out and look for this if you want something exciting, but if you want something simple and classy and feminine, and you like scents like Stella but want more maturity, or Tom Ford Santal Blush but don't want so much attention, this could work for you. This is my impression based on the first 5 minutes from a store sample, but there aren't any other reviews so figured I'd at least get something down for this.

Is the juice in this bottle the same as the 2021 version?
