Baiser Vole Extrait de Parfum

This is a warmer version of Baiser Vole and the 3rd. version I've tried. Unlike Baiser Vole Essence, this doesn't list vanilla in the notes, but it is here, just very softly done, unlike Essence which I found a vanilla overload. Here it is just enough to add creaminess to this perfume. This also lacks that slightly soapy aromatic quality that is in the edp. and the green notes are dialed way back compared to that too. Personally, I prefer the original eau de parfum, as I like that cold, crisp, snap-green, dewy aspect juxtaposed against the creamy lilies. Still, this is very beautiful; creamier than any of the other versions I've tried. It also has fantastic silage and longevity. Of course, it should, because it is an extrait after all. Overall, I'm very happy to have this in my perfume arsenal, and glad I managed to find this discontinued version at a reasonable price.

This was a blind buy for me after sampling the EDP and finding it a little too safe, too cold, too florist’s refrigerator for me. However, I was on the hunt for a lily fragrance after an experience at a farmer’s market where I kept walking past the most delicious, narcotic, irresistible fragrance imaginable, which turned out to be a bunch of pink oriental lilies in the florist’s cart. Where Baiser Vole EDP came up short, the extrait satisfies by supplying that sweetness and richness missing from the former. My 30ml bottle is going fast!

Thank you to Fragrantica posters for getting me interested me in the Baiser Vole range. This is my second purchase as I already have the Edp and I love them both. The Extrait isn’t easy to get, but I managed to do so at a very good price on eBay. It is sweeter than the Edp but I still get lots of green notes as well. It’s a classy subtle perfume, but lasts very well on clothes. I have to say well done to Mathilde Laurent for this range and I will now go on to try others.

I happened upon this perfume by accident in a store and was surprised by how much I loved it. It's so light and soft, but lasts a long time. The bottle is also very nice with the gold lid flipping open sideways. If you are usually overwhelmed by flowery scents, you might like Baiser Vole Extrait. Also, I don't know if it's just me, but I think it smells quite similar to Crabtree & Evelyn's discontinued Carnation. It's got the light spicy floral thing going.

This is a beautyful solifloral - as the whole Baiser Volé collection, succesfully manages both the realistic image and sense of natural lilies, yet it is orchestrated so wanderfully that it becomes nor boring neither simple. It makes the trick of great parfumes, it changes it's facets after mood, skin chemistry and weather... bacause of it's animalic-earthy site I prefer it at most.

This fragrance is what happens if Baiser Vole EDP and Baiser Vole Essence de Parfum had a baby. I can smell the lily, the green and the citrus notes, plus I can also detect a small amount of the natural bourbon vanilla. Beautiful combination, and a lighter amount of vanilla, but more more musty smelling vanilla than the Essence. I love them all!! Great job Cartier!

Loovveeee Cartier's Baiser Vole fragrance very much! It's simply a beautiful green lily in its beginning blooming phase. Baiser Vole Essence is the lily in a rich and warm full bloom. Both are BEAUTIFUL and I could not love them any more than I already do.

It's fantastic. Sweet and tender but also has a huge personality. Smells like teen spirit

This is perhaps as individual/ unique as a designer ( non niche) floral can get. it's not fruity or sweet like so many so called "florals" In a sea of mainstream designer fragrances this stood out today. I spritzed / tested over 10 on wrists, elbows, back of hand, as you do .... Don't you ..?? .......... This lovely fragrance Opens with a big recognisable burst of Lily and daisy. Its the authentic smell of a florist in spring. Then it hit "actual" florist territory- because ( oddly) the dry down brings the scent of day old water you get at the bottom of a vase. Don't panic :-D I said day old, not week old - (not rancid putrid water ) but it is worth mentioning this is what I detected. Finishes classically with a pretty soft lily, silage low, lasting moderate. If you like quality linear florals but are looking for something 'slightly' outside the square, this may be worth a try. Most unique 'designer' scent in department store ( non niche) I've tried in months. I picture a young blonde in a white dress for this fine scent. Not one for me but well composed. simple.

Still I think that the best edition of Baiser Volè is edp. That's the most balanced one between deep floral edge and a certain powdery freshness. To that point Baiser Volè is in its perfection. EdT is way too weak and green and the Extrait... well, I expected to like much more than I did. I found a tester in dept.store and of course I wanted to try it on! Mistake. The Extrait it's an instant bomb of angry lily in your face, as if they took 3 dose of lilies in edp and made them very angry by pushing them together in a tiny space. The powder is even more loaded. I gave it some time as I know that Parfum concentration takes time to develop. Learned this with my beloved Guerlains. Nope. Somehow this Extrait never reaches a point of softness and nice setting, at least on my skin. After 1 hour it was still banging on my head as if it was screaming: Hey!!!! I'm here on your arm, did you notice? Hey hey! I don't know, maybe I was already in a bad mood that day, there was people pushing in the allies, too much noise... I ended up with big headache and perfume I didn't like on my arm. Longlasting.

This is quite different from the EDP. It doesn't have the round clean shampoo drydown of the EDP. The lily in this is more similar to the one in the Essence, but here it's accompanied by a green note in the opening notes, then becomes creamy and smoky. It's also more powdery than the EDP. Overall, I find the EDP is the most wearable and pleasant, but this is more refined than the Essence de Parfum. It envelops you in a veil of sophistication and it's not too loud.

Pleasant and sophisticated at first, but on me, it became cloying to an unpleasant degree- still,it did smell quite a bit like stargazer lilies- I didn't pick up the green notes of the pistil and leaves, only the petal sweetness- Reminds me of Flower by Cynthia Rowley, which Avon used to carry- On second try, I'm finding this much nicer- it seems like the warmer weather of late June is bringing out the best in this scent-

Amazing amazing amazing!! That is absolutely a non-screatchy lily! It's so close to the body and just melts into my chemistry. IMHO extrait is the perfection that gives itself to the wearer completely . EDP felt like a nice fragrance but light, spontaneous , passing by, playful. Whereas extrait stays with you descretely but elegantly in a grown up way .

It 's a nice green but soft scent, and I can't help that I reminds me a bit of Décou-Vert Laboratorio Olfattivo although it has no lily but lilac in it. It is les green than Décou-vert, (do I smell some vanilla in it?) but it lasts longer.

Does anyone know where I can still find this beauty? I can't seem to find it on eBay or anywhere else.

Found it AMAZING. Besides lily, I smell... pink pepper, perhaps, that give that soft spicy smell?
