Gran Ballo

Xerjoff gran ballo is my forth xerjoff and while I can't name it my most favorite one,I can say I like and enjoy it a lot.I also find it easier to wear compared to my beloved lira or bouquet ideal I think most other xerjoffs marketed for females,are actually unisex and are easily wearable by men too.unlike them,gran ballo is feminine head to toe.I see it's compared with viva la juicy.well I both agree and disagree.they share similar skeleton of white florals-gourmand notes but they're different in details so in whole they don't smell similar A bouquet of flowers,to be more specific: modern white florals is the main actress here.honey suckle is detectable and it's pretty and true to life,unlike viva la juicy and similar gourmands there's not a trace of fruity notes, this is what makes it less teenage like and more ladylike Honey suckle, gardenia and Jasmine are rounded by a delicious,buttery base of caramel,vanilla and amber like a soft touch of powder on a sweet creamy base There's something in gran ballo which saves it from being a generic caramelized white floral.I can smell something like champacka in it.or let's say,something like roasted coconut powder.I can find a similar thing in Taylor swift enchanted. So for me Gran ballo seems to be a love child of viva la juicy and wonder struck enchanted but also with good balance,high quality ingredients and without berries As I find this blend very yummy I highly recommend it to all gourmand lovers but you may love it even if you're not a gourmand lover.even you're looking for a well rounded,sweet white floral scent with a very modern feeling you have to try it.it's sweetness isn't sharp,syrupy or cloying.It stays soft all through it's life, albeit not soft in sillage as it projects very well,but at the same time it's not heavy and is wearable almost always in mild weather Longevity is great(+10 hours) and it's happy and playful without being too childish Only thing I don't like about it is it's bottle.I love it's pink color but I believe pink doesn't go well with green.also it would be much better if it's bottle was transparent(like mefisto or bouquet ideal)

This fragrance is super weird to my nose, but I don't mean that in a bad way. There are no fruits listed, but I could swear there is something lightly fruity in the opening. Like red currants, or red berries, and a hint of citrus? A beautiful strong floral fragrance that I am not familiar with. A hint sweet, but I would not say caramel sweet, a hint of almost soapy, with that weird hint of imaginary citrus... that is not a listed note. I love it! There is this beautiful naturally sweet floral fragrance in the scent aura around me. Reminds me of walking past someone's home late at night, and smelling the floral scent drifting from the flowerbeds and backyards. Not sure why it evokes that specific memory of night-time florals, but that is exactly what this smells like to me. It is dreamy. The longer this sits on my skin, the sweeter it gets, and I can finally almost smell the caramel. But this is never delicious smelling to me. It's not a delicious caramel, it's more like... sweet tobacco. An earthy floral caramel. So weird, unique, and intoxicating to my nose. A fragrance that I cannot wait to stop reviewing, and start... just wearing and enjoying.

Wow! A blast of a late spring evening when the honeysuckle are most fragrant, when you walk past and they walk backwards to stand in the middle of the scent (and then pick a flower to smell on the rest of the walk). The initial spray is all strong, pretty, white floral--a woman's dream. After the honeysuckle dries down a bit, maybe a half hour, on my skin the gardenia predominates, although, like all Xerjoff perfumes, the composition is so exquisite and nuanced that other white florals wift by. Projection is like a rocket; the scent fills up a room and stays for the day; the fourth masked person in a line spaced six-feet apart can smell you. This is definitely feminine and IMHO a night scent (maybe when it dries down more, I'll revise this; but I don't see it as "office wear"). I'm not getting any caramel or vanilla, just sweet florals. I wonder if younger women would like it: it really does seem to me like something a prima ballerina would wear to the opening night party. Anyway, it's magnificent, and probably worth the money if you've got it.

Pretty, Sweet, Floral and very light. Perfect for Springtime and Summer. This is quite similar to Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy but less harsh and perhaps a little less “in your face” if that makes any sense. I love the airiness and lightness of this fragrance. It feels very “young” and carefree as well. Though I am no longer in my twenties (or in my thirties for that matter), I love to wear this fragrance casually on dates, or when I am out going on errands. It’s a perfect way to smell sophisticated without even trying. Longevity: 5 hours. Not too bad. Longer on clothes Projection: mild but I love it that way Season: warm months. Unfortunately, where I live, it’s only a few short months 😭 Price: of course, these Xerjoff babies are pricy...I got mine at a heavy discount and because I had been watching it for several months...sometimes, it’s a matter of patience... All in all Gran Ballo is wonderful and I am enjoying it immensely 🩷🩷

I got this fragrance in a group of sample fragrances from a great seller on EBay. I got some real beauties: Narcotic V Nasomatto, Blossom Love, and another one I can’t remember at the moment. I actually loved all these fragrances which is lucky but this one I bought a FB immediately. It just has an amazing sweet, happy, personality. It’s not the most groundbreaking fragrance in the world but it just fits my personality. My grandmother had a huge backyard with tons of plants. One creeping vine on one side of the garage was a huge honeysuckle. This reminds me of that plant a little bit. This is quite a lot like Juicy but done in the way Juicy should have been done. It JC but a far more sophisticated version. It’s a love for me. Next I’ll be trying Lira.
