Gran Ballo

Xerjoff gran ballo is my forth xerjoff and while I can't name it my most favorite one,I can say I like and enjoy it a lot.I also find it easier to wear compared to my beloved lira or bouquet ideal I think most other xerjoffs marketed for females,are actually unisex and are easily wearable by men too.unlike them,gran ballo is feminine head to toe.I see it's compared with viva la juicy.well I both agree and disagree.they share similar skeleton of white florals-gourmand notes but they're different in details so in whole they don't smell similar A bouquet of flowers,to be more specific: modern white florals is the main actress here.honey suckle is detectable and it's pretty and true to life,unlike viva la juicy and similar gourmands there's not a trace of fruity notes, this is what makes it less teenage like and more ladylike Honey suckle, gardenia and Jasmine are rounded by a delicious,buttery base of caramel,vanilla and amber like a soft touch of powder on a sweet creamy base There's something in gran ballo which saves it from being a generic caramelized white floral.I can smell something like champacka in it.or let's say,something like roasted coconut powder.I can find a similar thing in Taylor swift enchanted. So for me Gran ballo seems to be a love child of viva la juicy and wonder struck enchanted but also with good balance,high quality ingredients and without berries As I find this blend very yummy I highly recommend it to all gourmand lovers but you may love it even if you're not a gourmand lover.even you're looking for a well rounded,sweet white floral scent with a very modern feeling you have to try it.it's sweetness isn't sharp,syrupy or cloying.It stays soft all through it's life, albeit not soft in sillage as it projects very well,but at the same time it's not heavy and is wearable almost always in mild weather Longevity is great(+10 hours) and it's happy and playful without being too childish Only thing I don't like about it is it's bottle.I love it's pink color but I believe pink doesn't go well with green.also it would be much better if it's bottle was transparent(like mefisto or bouquet ideal)

This fragrance is super weird to my nose, but I don't mean that in a bad way. There are no fruits listed, but I could swear there is something lightly fruity in the opening. Like red currants, or red berries, and a hint of citrus? A beautiful strong floral fragrance that I am not familiar with. A hint sweet, but I would not say caramel sweet, a hint of almost soapy, with that weird hint of imaginary citrus... that is not a listed note. I love it! There is this beautiful naturally sweet floral fragrance in the scent aura around me. Reminds me of walking past someone's home late at night, and smelling the floral scent drifting from the flowerbeds and backyards. Not sure why it evokes that specific memory of night-time florals, but that is exactly what this smells like to me. It is dreamy. The longer this sits on my skin, the sweeter it gets, and I can finally almost smell the caramel. But this is never delicious smelling to me. It's not a delicious caramel, it's more like... sweet tobacco. An earthy floral caramel. So weird, unique, and intoxicating to my nose. A fragrance that I cannot wait to stop reviewing, and start... just wearing and enjoying.

Wow! A blast of a late spring evening when the honeysuckle are most fragrant, when you walk past and they walk backwards to stand in the middle of the scent (and then pick a flower to smell on the rest of the walk). The initial spray is all strong, pretty, white floral--a woman's dream. After the honeysuckle dries down a bit, maybe a half hour, on my skin the gardenia predominates, although, like all Xerjoff perfumes, the composition is so exquisite and nuanced that other white florals wift by. Projection is like a rocket; the scent fills up a room and stays for the day; the fourth masked person in a line spaced six-feet apart can smell you. This is definitely feminine and IMHO a night scent (maybe when it dries down more, I'll revise this; but I don't see it as "office wear"). I'm not getting any caramel or vanilla, just sweet florals. I wonder if younger women would like it: it really does seem to me like something a prima ballerina would wear to the opening night party. Anyway, it's magnificent, and probably worth the money if you've got it.

Pretty, Sweet, Floral and very light. Perfect for Springtime and Summer. This is quite similar to Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy but less harsh and perhaps a little less “in your face” if that makes any sense. I love the airiness and lightness of this fragrance. It feels very “young” and carefree as well. Though I am no longer in my twenties (or in my thirties for that matter), I love to wear this fragrance casually on dates, or when I am out going on errands. It’s a perfect way to smell sophisticated without even trying. Longevity: 5 hours. Not too bad. Longer on clothes Projection: mild but I love it that way Season: warm months. Unfortunately, where I live, it’s only a few short months 😭 Price: of course, these Xerjoff babies are pricy...I got mine at a heavy discount and because I had been watching it for several months...sometimes, it’s a matter of patience... All in all Gran Ballo is wonderful and I am enjoying it immensely 🩷🩷

I got this fragrance in a group of sample fragrances from a great seller on EBay. I got some real beauties: Narcotic V Nasomatto, Blossom Love, and another one I can’t remember at the moment. I actually loved all these fragrances which is lucky but this one I bought a FB immediately. It just has an amazing sweet, happy, personality. It’s not the most groundbreaking fragrance in the world but it just fits my personality. My grandmother had a huge backyard with tons of plants. One creeping vine on one side of the garage was a huge honeysuckle. This reminds me of that plant a little bit. This is quite a lot like Juicy but done in the way Juicy should have been done. It JC but a far more sophisticated version. It’s a love for me. Next I’ll be trying Lira.

This is pretty girl fragrance! Sweet and fruity fresh type of scent. Inoffensive, leaning more in spring and summer but can be worn year around. Initial spray is strong blast of fresh sweetness, after it settles on my skin it turns more mellow, but it still got its crisp and bright sweetness. This scent lasts many hours on my skin. Lasting power is amazing on me! I dont find Juicy couture dna in this but i got the reference, this also has youthfull, sweet vibe in it. This is very feminine but not soft or delicate way, this has punch in it. It has kinda pungent smell, i suppose gardenia is quite strong note in this. Although it softens a bit after dry down. All in all I like this perfume!

Love the scent but performance very weak. I dont smell caramel or creamy notes.. only flower... and sadly, no matter how much u spray it wont give you stronger or better projection/sillage... barely last more than 6 hours. Do not worry, it will not offend people around you if you oversprayed. It only will stay linger for you. Gran Ballo is only for those who loves very soft soft scent. If you are looking for a beast performance.. strong... kick in the ass piece..this is definitely not yours. I got 2 bottles only bcoz they have clearance sale... regardless its performance, the scent worth the price i paid tho. Just dont buy it on retail price, its a waste imho.

I've been waiting to buy this beauty for more than a year, it is absolutely gorgeous, but really really expensive. Gran Ballo is a floral-gourmand perfume, having a beautiful gardenia in the foreground and waves of sweet accents-caramel and vanilla in the background. I also have to agree with the ones that have said it is similar to Viva la Juicy, but more grown up and sophisticated. If Viva la Juicy is a bohemian teenager, Gran Ballo is a sexy lady who is brave enough to wear pastel pink shirts (or skirts). I am totally impressed with this perfume, it is feminine, delicate, but, in the same time, it is powerful and makes a statement. Awesome!

I am so glad I took a risk buying this blind. I used to wear Juicy Couture a lifetime ago and remember it vaguely. However, in more recent times, I had a coworker who wore JC and I absolutely hated the scent trail she left behind. Made me want to gag. That being said I was afraid to purchase Gran Ballo given the comparisons to said fragrance. Well, I just got Gran Ballo today and it's a love for me. It's so much more refined than JC and elegant. Doesn't smell teeny bopper or synthetic. I do catch the slight resemblance in the opening but this isn't cloying and obnoxious like JC. It's a sweet princess scent and I'm here for it.

I love this, it is beautiful and comforting, a hug in a bottle. This is one of my favourite in the Casamorati range, this and Italica. This is super feminine and dreamy. On me it doesn't project as much as I want, it is the only con. However, when I wear this I can't stop smelling my wrist or the clothing I am wearing. I do think it smells like Juicy Couture, it has more than an inkling of it, this is more masterfully blended but way more expensive and so the choice is yours. I do like you can buy 30mls of the Casamoratis so you don't blow a lot of money on larget bottles, although I have.

I don't think it's anything exceptional but it is soft and feminine and musky enough to really enjoy the wear time. I feel sexy enough in it to wear it at night but it's also safe for work or day time too. It isn't offensive at all, you could wear this to dinner and not shove it down their throats. I'm not sure about the price, that's a personal situation, but for me it's so lovely and won't get overlooked in my collection. I think it's safe for any age but I feel it's a feminine fragrance.

Not as floral and fresh as I expected it to be. Fantastic opening. After a few minutes, it turns into a current of honey and caramel. Very sweet and playful but sadly it has weak sillage and longevity. I understand why some people here mentioned the metallic vibe. I assume it’s the tangerine that creates the sharpness. On my skin, it is very smooth though. Update: The fruitiness comes through after some time. I think I really like this despite the heavy caramel element.

I absolutely love this. I used to wear VLJ so that's nostalgic to me but a bit juvenile at this point. This is like VLJ's older sister though. It's sweet, creamy, a bit clean, and an easy reach. I normally don't even like white florals, but they're great in here. The florals aren't too much and the caramel and vanilla really balance it out. Simply beautiful. Absolutely a compliment getter... an easy blind buy! This is signature scent worthy.

Thi is a beautifully feminine and refined fragrance. It opens soft, slightly sweet, and floral, with a delicate, polished feel that never becomes overwhelming. It’s perfect for spring and mild weather, giving that effortless “put together” vibe. If you overspray and layer it with a hair perfume, it can last around 7 to 8 hours. Overall, it’s a graceful, pretty scent, feminine, elegant, and easy to wear.

This is a beautiful scent! It's got honeysuckle, vanilla and caramel in it which adds a lot of flavour to it. However, I do have to say that the longevity and projection with this fragrance are not the best. It lasts on my skin for about 5 hours then starts to fade away and turn into a skin scent. All in all, a classic and feminine fragrance for all ladies!

Absolutely beautiful creamy white florals drizzled with warm velvety caramel and a hint of powdery vanilla so delectable smooth and satisfying! It's a veryyyy refined Meow by Katy Perry for sure! If I had the dough I'd buy this over Meow but since I already have Meow I'll save my $ for other niche beauties! Really enjoy this one though!

I love love love this scent 💜 so creamy and fresh and sweet caramel delicious light tangerine and honey. I don't know what people speaking about viva la juicy cuz I hade that to but definitely it's not a dup ,actually it's not a dupe for anything, GB it's self beautiful and unique

It's a very elegant floral. Not much gourmand, in fact I didnt know caramel and vanilla was in it until looking at this page. The caramel does add a little salty note to it. Very uplifting and regal. Not something I would wear everyday, but for special dress-up occasions.

Love this!! Flowers, slightly sweet, clean. Nothing old fashioned about it to me. I get honeyed jasmine that is grounded with hint of sandalwood. Berry and citrus are well blended- neither is pronounced but gives the sweet freshness to it.
