White

Nice balance of florals and vanilla. Update: while this didn’t really strike me any particular way when I first sampled it, it has grown on me. I feel like the “milky vanilla white floral” DNA is one that’s being done a million different ways right now, and Casati White approaches it with more restraint and balance than most. The notes all come across as completely natural, as well, whereas many other similar fragrances are overpowered by synthetic vanillas and white musks. This is a really quite lovely, warm, comforting skin scent that I can imagine working well for all seasons and many different occasions. Today I wore it outdoors on a warm, humid summer evening with thunderstorms hanging on the horizon and it fit beautifully, but I think it would be just as suitable to wear to a work meeting or a first date. I’m glad I came back to this fragrance and I will probably get a 10 ml decant for the summer because I simply haven’t found another fragrance that balances or executes this sort of scent profile as nicely.

On the open the bright orange blossom is pleasing drenched over the yellow fruits like candy, there is a creaminess covering the jasmine and iris. The heliotrope is soft and realistic. The ambrette is muted, the tonka and vanilla play very well together. The cedar, sandalwood, coconut and white musk make the base soft and inviting with the wisp of ambergris note. This to me is a mature vacation scent with playful candy store vibes. I can't usually wear florals, but this one did not give me a headache. it is light and playful enough to keep it interesting while not taking itself too seriously.

Very nice fruity floral but transitions quickly in too sospiro bel canto but sickly sweet not suited for a man as this vanilla cream and white chocolate with a slight soapy coconut smell

The first minute it reminded me of Nari Vimala with the faint banana with coconut rice but whilst Nari stays in a baby cocoon era, White Casati grows up fast and is more elaborate. After the first couple of minutes, it smells like Vanilla Powder by MP but slightly more floral.

Lasts forever and stays pretty potent, I still smell it on me almost 12 hours later and half a spray. On me it was very gourmand with a little bit of floral.
