Special Moments

A light sweet fresh aqueous fruity floral. A sunny mix of peach, melon, freesia, rose, citrus, jasmine. The top notes first smell like the uncorking of a Pink Champagne and fruits, then it quickly transforms into a fruity floral vanilla-musk with a candylike sweetness on skin. It gives a happy comforting feel. Like a Celebratory Champagne Toast with a Comforting Hug from a loved one with a Bouquet of flowers and some kind of fruity, creamy dessert with a light caramel drizzle to top it off. If that isn't a lovely story to tell through fragrance, I don't know what is. It's a fast story, but the fragrance IS called "Special Moments" not "Special Hours". What a beautiful idea for a scent. I love that it's short and sweet. It's completely poetic in this way. It smells so delicious that I wish I could eat this! It's pure, wholesome, sincere, happy, and gracious. Yes, it doesn't last very long. It's more of an aromatherapy pick-me-up, than an Eau de Parfum. But I just don't care that much, given the beauty of the juice. Yum. My goodness, yes. I'd buy this 100 times anyway. I hope the brand makes this forever. I suggest using this fragrance on hair or fabric to hold the scent, because it is very light, and quite delicate. It's gentle and inoffensive enough to be suitable for offices. The heavier glass bottle is a gorgeous ombre Rose Pink base that fades up to a clear glass top, with a golden colored floral pattern of scrollwork on the back that shines through to the front of the glass. The lid I have is a clear plastic rectangle cube with a raised "CM" on top of a golden hued cylinder as a cap. The fragrantica database photo does not show this pink bottle I have, so I will upload a photo of mine for the fragram.

WHIPPED ROSE-PEACH & MELON Fluffy Vanilla. Opens with a burst of fruits featuring peach supported by melon with a soft & fluffy whipped vibe, that deepens into the rosy heart with velvety, fluffy & powdery tones, all resting on a vanilla-bean & white-musk base with hints of amber. Alongside there is a faint shampoo vibe that pulls all the elements together. This has a nice lather of body to it - not quite to the level of marshmallow, but like a lather of shampoo, although it's still a light summery fruity-floral. You've smelt this before, but it's nicely done here. For what it is, it's a love for me. Enjoy! Update 08/07/24: Sprayed this on my arm this afternoon, and the performance has improved a lot. I'm getting plumeria/frangipani that turns tropical then slightly milky, and reminders of Couture La La Malibu Juicy Couture. Nice tropical vibe also. Still a love. Update 05/28/25: There's an impression of something near mango in the opening. That transitions to melon-peach and something near pear. Rose is more forward now, and as the rose comes through I get reminders of several popular pear-rose-musk perfumes, although this isn't a dupe. The vanilla-bean is quite good here in the base. Very enjoyable. Love it.

I was really disappointed by the performance of this fragrance. It lasts about half an hour at most for me. I got it mostly for the melon and vanilla notes, but the melon disappears really quickly and the vanilla is very subtle. As far as fruity floral perfumes go, I like it better than most I've tried. It smells lovely, but it's not what I was looking for.
