Green, fresh, and very uncommon. William's pear, banana leaf, fig leaf, jasmine are more dominant than other notes to my nose. Banana leaf is an rare note that makes this perfume unique. Not too sweet (acceptable to sweet-hater like me), non-bitter. During the drydown it'd be some woodier and muskier, and more powdery (esp. on clothes). Powerful projection and sillage. Shines only in moderate temperatures, i.e. spring and fall, between 10 and 30 Celsius. Too cloying in summer and distorted in winter (in East Asia). Not for over spraying. Proper amount gets me the freshest feeling: an imagination of bathing in breeze after a soothing shower, as one of my friends described. Likely due to its body wash vibes that render connections to a nice bath or a wallpaper with elegant green foliage. Oh right, it may attract bees.

I started using it when young. I blind bought (they had no tester) several bottles in a mall because of its high discount. I could not have done better, because it was a great discovery. It's absolutely delicious, I can't think of another way to describe it right now. It's like a perfect floral-fruity-oriental mix with a sweet touch (very natural and exquisite, nothing cloying) I don't know if cinnamon or what, but the formula is intoxicating. A perfume extraordinarily well balanced, very very rich, very natural in what I remember and, also, at a very good price. Really delicious. Versatility: All year round, given its somewhat cooler opening but its slightly warm dry down. Very versatile indeed. Scent: 9/10 Projection: 7/10 Duration: 6/10

Never had a chance to experience this fragrance before it got discontinued. But I'm soo glad that it is back. I soon as I heard about it's return - went straight away and put in a order, without giving it a second thought. It actually smells fresh & watery, something that not many brands seem to be able to pull off. Powdery, but not make up or baby talcum powdery, watery but not some weird stale pond scent. No weird vomit inducing badly done floral note. Not only is it blind buy worthy, but also an amazing cheapie, the hype was real with this one. (That being said, not everyone may like this one, but for going price of 19.00$ nothing to lose) Someone please tell me, why is it soo good 🤩

A great classic of the 90’s. This beautiful summer fragrance was an upbeat fragrance with an energetic top note thanks to banana leaves from Costa Rica, Williams pear and black pepper. The sparkling heart note of Atlantic cypress, fig leaf and tender jasmine arouses strong emotions. The background consists of Haitian vetiver, musk and amber. A perfume that brings me very far back in the university days and that evokes me beautiful memories. Unfortunately it is now discontinued and the last one I bought on eBay was only a shadow of what it was formerly. This fragrance is one of the legendary scents of my youth that I miss and that I would like to find available.

Opens with an abstract of soft fruity fuzziness - not real fruit, only an impression. It’s sweet like the pith of a pear, an evanescent sweetness rather than the more-common syrupy thickness that many modern perfumes. There’s greenery mixed into the opening too- it’s a pale green at that, adding to the delightful softness. Then comes a gradual transition to piney woods. What a stroke of magic! I never would guess this would emerge from that opening. Soft cypress and cedar that lingers a while- nothing loud, but persistent. The quality is ok, a little on the cheaper side, but no matter. For a cheapie, Image is a unique and lovable fragrance.

This one is a pure gem. Fresh, light (but not to airy), yet masculine (in retro way). Bright and quite unique. Perfect for spring & summer (specially in sunny day). Very underrated, deserve much more attention in the scent market. The price is a joke (something about 19€/100ml in Poland). Projection & sillage are moderate (which is good I think). Bottle is very classy with funny atomizer. Consider this to blind buy? Well, You can't go wrong with this one. Specially for the price. My most complimented fragrance when I was 18. Very disappointed when it was discontinued but it has been brought back. Recently purchased a 100ml for £25. Worth every penny. All memories came flooding back. This used to have beast mode performance when I first started wearing it and it is weaker now. Does still have very good lasting power on clothes so still has decent performance. If you're a fan of this do not delay as it's still a very nice fragrance and if you have olfactory memories attached to it like I have, then even more reason to get yourself a bottle.

Very fruity fragrance yet woody , sweet yet strong woody smell of pear, banana leaf and cypress background . It is a very good smell of spring and summer different than others . It's like a Acqua di Gio fruity , sweet and soft. It has a very modest sillage ( the bad of this perfume) but its duration is good . When dried reminds me of the smell of chamomile infusion . Despite being soft and sweet, it is quite masculine. Sillage 5/10 , duración7 / 10. Global 7/10 . ( The good thing about this perfume is that it is uncommon among people )

Its just everything you want from a fresh scent! Its lasts for me on clothes for days but on skin its quite weak actually. I first had this in early 2000's and all the memories came back now as I bought the new release. its not as strong as before, but Im ok with it. It has some unspoken optimism in this fragrance that I cannot describe. Its just represents the best for me the era of late 90's and early 2000's with all those summer vibes and easiness before 9/11 happened ... I hope they never discontinue this again!!

I was very randomly given a bottle of this for Christmas, as i've not worn it since the late 90s. It is exactly as I remember it, very fresh and bright opening. I have to be honest having read some of the other reviews I have to completely disagree with this fragrance being called 'spicy' for me nothing could be further from the truth, it is ultra fruity. Very Fresh, I get a note of grapefruit. I look forward to the Summer when i get out of the shower and use it, not remarkable but very nice.

I didnt expect this to smell so good considering its low price. But this is a masterpiece. its green and woody with lots of tart powdery fruitiness laying on top. Very unique and dosent smell like anything else in my collection. Also, although it was released in 1998 it dosent smell particulary dated. You can safely wear this today without being told you smell like a old man. Cause this stuff is just timeless. Its a instant love from me

I have been using Cerruti Image ever since it was introduced. I find it to be a very light and fresh fragrance. It is a very nice summer scent and very safe for the office. It lasts longer on clothes than on the skin. The pear, banana leaf and plumb give this fragrance a very fruity feel at first. Then it blends with the jasmine and musk and wow. The bottle is beautiful and the price even better.

Oh this is really a wonderful scent. I had low expectations of this. But I'm so surprised. It's very woody and full of character in its opening. But the scent has lasted a while and I'm wearing it while working out. Fresh and clean but so much depth. I'm surprised how cheap this is as the price does it a disservice Bottle is also superb with that unique design. Sprayer was quite generous.

Cerruti Image is an incredible fragrance. I forgot just good this was! An intoxication of green mixed with slight florals, figs and berries, gives this just the perfect amount of freshness and sweetness. Getting a backup bottle asap. Very safe office scent or anytime scent. Get this! Longevity on me is about 7 hours with moderate sillage. Definitely worth the price!!!

Image is a very nice clean out of the shower type scent! It is crisp & beautiful for spring /summer days right after a shower! Had a change of heart, longevity is about 8 hours, altho it does seem to become faint the longer it is on your skin, but it is still there! & yes spray on alot! You wont overdue it!

This is my second bottle, it's those kind of fragrances that it's sweet but fresh, it's funny 'cause I never thought that pear was this fresh, plum it's helping to get the coolest in this smell, something that you wear proudly. Thumb up on this one, get it before they discontinue it.

This scent is for those that really love soapy scents. Image is a delicious soapy fragrance, elegant, linear, simple and relaxing. Not overpowering and not sweet. Longevity is ok, sillage isn't huge. Gives the idea of a man that has just taken a shower with a very special soap.

A delicious and long lasting fragrance. A tarragon/pear start, and a lovely fresh soapy drydown. This is SO likeable. Longevity and silage are good. One of Cerutti's best in my opinion and, one of the nicest fruity perfumes I've ever tried.

It's very fresh and gentle! Perfect for hot days during the summer. I think it's quite long lasting +7h on my skin BUT after 1-2 hours projection is VERY soft, so maybe this is the reason why loads of people don't like Cerruti Image.
