Caprice De Marie

Such a lively, happy fruity perfume! Like carefree summer in a bottle! I wonder why it's not getting more attention, because to my nose it is an absolute delight. Since there are no notes listed on fragrantica yet, here is the official note breakdown: Top: pineapple, black currant, pear Heart: peach, lily of the valley, caramel Base: patchouli, musk, vanilla

"Caprice de Marie by Chabaud is an eau de parfum with fruity notes of peach mixed with blackcurrant, pineapple and pear. " To me it's blueberry and a little strawberry.... fruity anyway...Escada eat your heart out (but a bit more serious) Projects and lasts well. A happy scent.

Pineapple shoots in first, fresh and beaming, but it’s not the usual tropical juice-box kind—it’s caramelized, its edges kissed into glucose, its brightness smoothed into something richer, deeper, a beach-party at golden hour. Then pear joins in, honeyed and syrupy but in an effortlessly elegant way. Like a fruit salad that’s been poached in something expensive. It teeters a little on the edge of being too sweet in the beginning, but the patchouli swoops in nicely to save the day, to keep everything a little more grounded. A scent that knows how to indulge without overindulging, warm without being heavy, sweet without being childish. A gorgeously balanced scent, the kind you keep sniffing and sighing over, wondering why all caramels can’t be this polished.

This starts out like fruity shampoo to me, like Garnier Fructis but in a good way. When it dries down it doesn't stay so fruit forward and balances out to blend well with the other notes. I don't smell the caramel note though (listed on scent split). It lasts all day but is just more faint by the end. Overall its pretty nice. Fruity floral, with a prominent peach, and I`d say Yellow plum. I smell no pineapple. It has a slightly timbery, more strict note there too, I don`t think it`s patchouli or black currant; it`s more of a faint mossy timber. Overall it`s a sweet, fruity, summery, a bit powdery scent, Chloe Nomade meets Escada Rockin Rio :)

Very pleasant fruity floral, albeit a bit generic. Smells like the women's fragrance counter at Macy's.

This one starts out quite loud and in-your-face, but it mellows out pretty quickly into a scent that actually reminds me of Stella McCartney's flagship fragrance. It's quite pleasant, but it also doesn't feel all that new or intriguing.

Caprice De Marie opens with a fresh pineapple scent, mixed with peach and caramel. It’s fruity and has a shampoo-vibe, agree with Sapri that it’s reminiscent of Garnier Fructis.

It reminds me of some version of YSL Mon Paris. I don't know which. It's very fruity flowery. Somehow smells a bit oldschool although not unpleasant. Just not my type. -

FIRST IMPRESSION: this is very feminine, and not a refined type of feminine but rather a teenager locker room. it has a strong designer perfume characteristics, like the collective scent in the perfume aisle in some duty free. it is smelling sharp and very cloying. fake apple (like zoologist cow) which i hate. this artificial smelling 'fresh' fruit like pineapple which clashes with everything making a mess. this composition is very messy and nauseating. smells like a fragrance by 'confessions of a rebel' which i perceive as cheap smelling. also REALLY smelling like the appe head&shoulders amongst the rest of the composition, which really dragging it down in terms of perceived quality of scent. FEW HOURS LATER... smelling sharp, artificial and relatively cheap. apple head&shoulders, generic vanilla body mist and some annoying florals like ylang-ylang. not for me, and honestly i would hate to smell it on gf. 31/100

It's quite good but... To me it smell really really close to Coco Mademoiselle from Chanel. So it's nice but you can have cheaper dupe. It's on test right now, i will update later for sillage and longevity.
