Love Story

This is developing into a Love Story for me (Husband Himself aside...). - Chloe perfumes have historically been a miss for me. For years, I couldn't even *smell* the OG "Chloe" EdP. The scent simply didn't register to my nose. So, I did my Trash Person thing and bought a bottle anyway. Only when I owned it (suspicious in itself... but moving on) could I smell something. And I loved it. A sharp, green, musky, kinda-soapy rose. Also, long-lasting and strong. What a win. - The vast majority of Chloe flankers overwhelm me. Not their scent, simply their vastness. Enough already. - "Nomade" is great, but just not *me*. I feel a bit like an imposter when I wear it despite my enjoyment of it. It smells awesome on a friend on mine, though. This, though? Love at first sniff. As such, my favourite Chloe fragrance! I adore the sharp, citrus, tangy opening notes! Neroli is also always a bomb scent, so that helps. I usually struggle with grapefruit, but it's epic here. Or just nicely blended. The middle notes? Pure bliss. Orange blossom is fresh, sexy, and romantic. I have stephanotis in my garden and it's such an underrated flower. A strong jasmine that isn't...typical? I also get that juicy, fruity peach, and sexy black (under)currant. When I die, send me home with a woody, floral musk! Fortunately, that's what I get here. A warm, cozy, intoxicating musk with cashmirwood/cashmeran. It would be a crime to not allow cashmeran to shine. It's woody, warm, slightly-vanillic, delightfully musky with hints of nostalgia (for me). Similar to Burberry "Body", the cashmeran invites hugs from your favourite person. "Love Story" resonates as a gorgeous, romantic, feminine, citrus floral that projects nicely (somewhat surprisingly) and lasts well - not forever, but enough to satisfy. I honestly think the perfume I've smelled that it most closely resembles is Jo Malone's "Honeysuckle & Davana". Do with that what you will. I feel girly AND womanly. Like I can oscillate between the two all my days. Repurchase-worthy! *** Kitty rating: 9/10!

On a quest to find the best and most interesting neroli/orange blossoms fragrance (decently priced), I have decided recently to purchase a bottle of 2014’s Chloe Love Story. Some people say in the comments that it’s been discontinued, but from my experience seems to be available to purchase, in some countries at least. I am not going to lie, it’s not what I’d expect from seeing the notes. My bottle offers a fairly strong rose and blackcurrant dominant white floral perfume. Also, with a note like stephanotis, which I have not encountered in any perfume so far, I expected something more unique smelling. It delivers that! And it’s not your typical fresh, green, soapy neroli/ orange blossoms perfume. It’s that but it’s also lots of blackcurrants, rose, peach, pear, grapefruit and some woods. It’s smooth, very fruity, slightly powdery and a tad spicy. Smells more syrupy sweet than fresh or citrusy to me, not sickly sweet though, and almost in equal parts, fruity and floral. It’s definitely not like any of my other white floral centric perfumes, but smells very good and seems pretty long lasting, which I love in any perfume! I have blind bought it but I wouldn’t recommend to any lady blind buying it if they want your standard neroli, orange blossom perfume. Love Story is more nuanced, complex and sweet than that! And if you’re not a fan of blackcurrants, I’d say stay away from Love Story... But I am happy to own a bottle of this! It’s something else. Edit: very long lasting on clothing. It’s next day late in the afternoon and I still can smell it on my sweatshirt.

I have Chloe Love Story EDP 50ML. Instantly stunned by the beautiful design of the bottle itself. gold handle topped off with a white ribbon, you couldn't get any more feminine and classy than that. I love most things that Chloe brings out. I feel its a well put together, classy brand. Owning the bags and glasses, I had to start a Chloe perfume collection going. I own other well reviewed perfumes such as Chanel No. 5 and J'adore Dior, so I was interested to see how a Chloe perfume would live up to standard. I was pleasantly surprised. It is an extremely classy perfume. Has a slight hint of J'adore Dior resemblance, but different in it's own right. Firstly hit with a slow scent of white floral scents slowly merging into rose powdery blend. It is extremely floral. But for all the right reasons. It is light, bounces off the senses and hits classy in every sense of the word. It could be worn as a daytime classy fragrance, maybe if you are attending something of importance-or if you just want to feel that extra bit of class, this is the perfume you would go for. It is not powerful and overbearing, just enough to give your senses some pleasure. The longevity is average, it doesn't dissipate quickly, you get a fair bit of time from it, however it does not last forever like some perfumes do. Overall I would reccomend purchasing this if you love a classy, floral scent. 10/10.

I'm in LOVE! Here's my story--It was my birthday yesterday and my wonderful, thoughtful husband purchased this (along with a vacuum...lol) as my birthday presents. What makes this perfume especially special to me is that he told me that he did research on it first and read numerous reviews giving it a 4/5 star rating. Just him doing that is an extra present for me, because he knows I'm passionate about my perfume collection (addiction), and listens intently to my personal opinions and reviews about them. He even knew that it wasn't on my want list. Now, finally, my review--Immediately after applying two sprays, I noticed a sweet, slightly spicy rose scent that is almost aquatic. Very clean and fresh, like expensive laundered linen. Didn't realize orange blossom was one of the notes but I must love that note because my perfume favorites have this note. To visualize it using color, I'd say, white, not red or black. The longevity on me is about eight hours. It's noticeable and lovely. I'm constantly sneaking sniffs of my wrist to get an instant scent-boost. (I always wonder if anyone has noticed me doing that.) Cloe Love Story will be in my top rotation. I'll wear it to work, out with my husband, shopping with my daughter and at home. Heck! I'll even wear it while vacuuming--my other gift. The End...

My Favourite fragrance till now, What makes it special for me, the mixing of orange, neroli, mesk, white flowers and cedar woods, mix of feelings with clean, fresh, Classy, Gentleness, romance, calm, Dreamer and fiminine lady. I adore how it can change my hole mood and I didn't smell any dupe of it before. this perfume suitable for any time and any season, Your wedding, after shower or during the day. 5 star to it and I recommended to own it even if you think to buy it blind buy or like the clean fresh calm perfumes. It lasts 12 hours on the leather and one day on the clothes.
