Love Story Eau de Toilette

I thought this was going to be exactly the same as Love Story EDP, but I was WRONG. It's softer, sweeter, and prettier, in my opinion. The EDP is beautiful, but it has a hint of the floral sharpness in the original Chloe (rose) that gives me a slight headache. This one doesn't. The opening is soft and sweet, like a toned-down (and slightly muskier) Prada Candy Florale. But as it dries down, the orange blossom that makes Love Story EDP so unique shines through. It's still sweet, but the citrusy white floral begins to warm up. The dry down stays quite true to this sweet orange blossom, but melts into your skin with the most beautiful musk. I would attribute the sweetness that sets this apart from the EDP to the Plum Blossom, and a sweet rose note. Someone said this smells like Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet, which I also love. I disagree that they smell the same, at all, but there is a similar tone. Both are sophisticated, but in a gentle, floral, breezy way. If you are a fashionista, this would pair beautifully with any of the airy Chloe dresses, especially in pink, rainbow, buttery yellow, pale green or cream.

This fragrance has become a new found love for me. Being a fragrance lover and suffering from allergies and hay fever this summer has not been a good combo for perfume! Many fragrances regardless of how light have become nauseating, and have led to multiple sneezing which isn't pretty. I was sent a sample of the EDP and liked it, but felt something was missing. I generally have noticed that I tend to prefer EDT's mostly over EDP anyway. On a brave whim I bought Love Story EDT and boy am I happy! Love Story EDT is as soft as a silk or cashmere scarf. Ever so lightly, it does not have heavy silage, but it's soft silage lasts a very long time which is just perfect for me. Bottled in a sleek bottle with a lovely pink bow tied to the side, this fragrance evokes the feeling of fresh clean white sheets to me. Orange blossom, rose, and musk create a long lasting sophisticated scent that is sure to grab you compliments from anyone who hugs you. I highly recommend x ❥

Sprayed the EDT on my wrist and the EDP on the other for comparison, they are similar in a way but the EDT is more fresh, crisp and sweeter. For some reason, the EDT stayed longer than the EDP on my skin. I even had to respray the EDP to make sure I wasn’t wrong!! Hmm or maybe the EDP on the counter was an older one?! *shrugs* I love anything Orange Blossom, and its the first note I could smell. This is a clean, bright happy fragrance, one that can definitely lift your spirits up. Great for an all around, everyday scent — work, errands, shopping with girlfriends, movie date with the boyfriend, lunch with the family. Bottle is absolutely gorgeous, very girly and pretty to be part of your collection!! With that, this one next on my list.

The EDT is lovely. Fresh and considerably lighter than EDP and Eau Sensuelle - this is a perfect office/daytime/warm weather fragrance. There is nothing offensive here. This is a straightforward soapy floral that has that pretty Chloe trademark to it. I bought mine directly from Chloe so I know my bottle is authentic. If your EDT is a scrubber yet you love EDP I would consider questioning authenticity because the EDT is a safe blind buy and is very similar to the EDP just slightly more effervescent. I have all 3 in the Chloe Love Story line and love to layer them. They compliment each other nicely. What's not to love?

I ́m sorry but I ́m in LOVE AGAIN! On me the opening it ́s harsh......yes,but sooo fresh floral opening with green notes,like a fresh cutt grass with orange blossom.After a few minutes the orange blossom is very intensive but there is somenthing creamyness which I like.My skin just love it.I have to say that it ́s waaay better than Love Story EDP(on me of course).I feel like a real and beautiful women in a white lace dress in a meadow where Bella & Edward was(around me are flowers).I will buy a big bottle,because the bottle is just soo feminine,romantic,and it ́s very Chloé. Now I ́m in love. <3 <3 <3

I have it for just for few days, but so far I LOVE to wear it every day. It is soft, clean and fresh and really pleasant fragrance, which is perfect for me to wear warm day. On my skin it lasts more than half of a day, so I was surprised to read that it is weak.

This is a floral citrussy scent, slightly powdery and sweet too (but not gourmand sweet). It literally smells like a love story in paris to me. It’s youthful but still classy and just very nice. Sillage and longevity are pretty good too. Love it!

First of all, this is very lovely! It's sweet flowery like natural nectar. It's sophisticated, not too girlish. Definitely one of my wishlist.

Perfect rosy-cozy smell, warm, clean, simple. I love it!

This is one of my best dumb-reach summer perfumes. I was disappointed when I got it initially, it seemed quite sharp at the opening and reminded me a bit of BBW's Sweet Pea fragrance. But as the weather warmed, I started to really enjoy it. I applied last week and even though it's very much winter, I kept getting lovely whiffs of it through the day. Very clean, soft after initial spray, and approachable. I feel put together when I wear it. Edit: I love nasturtium and grow it en masse in my garden - I don't really detect it here - instead I get a staid and slightly sharp floral note that I associate with freesia - may be the plum blossom?

Lots of alcohol in the opening and then, for about 2 hours, the typical, "just-another-chloe-floral" vibe. However.. as I'm continuously sniffing the back of my hand now at 3 hours after spraying, there is something, a little "je ne sais quoi" about it.. I believe it's simply taking the musk, rose, and plum blossom this long to fully bloom on my skin - pun intended. This one really , like a good love story, needs you to be patient with it.. it's not a full on in your face kinda love. It's a story... and it has to have time to be told. It's worth it. ;)

I received this perfume as a gift from my mother, who intended to buy the original Chloé. Even though I'm not a fan of Anne Flipo's fragrances, I'm not disappointed by this one. It's a fresh and light scent with peony, orange blossom and pear. It reminds me of l'eau d'Issey pure petale. Very office friendly, safe to blind buy or as a gift. Silage and longevity are not impressive, but that's expected with a scent profile like this. It's a good perfume for moments when you like to freshen up a bit (end of the day or after a shower before bed).

This one is a little fresher and a little less "perfumey" than the EDP. It's a like, but not a love. I think for orange blossom, I'll stick to JPG Classique, JM Orange Blossom, or PdM Safanad (if I want to splurge). It's nice though for spring/summer days. Edit: I really enjoy the drydown but still probably not enough for a FB. I sprayed about 2 hours ago and thought the initial blast was still rather "perfumey." I am getting whiffs of it now and it is really lovely.

What a shame, what a shame! I love this pretty bottle, but I only like this nice scent. Not enough to buy it though. It's truly pleasant, a bit sour, a bit floral, but it misses wow factor for me.

Feminine but not too girly, at least not on my skin. Not the most sophisticated scent I own, but I quite enjoy it in the summer. It's nice. That's about it, in my opinion.

This smells just like nasturtium! Wow!

I don't smell much of the listed notes in this. It's a very floral, clean scent, but it smells more like a abstract waxy white petal mix than realistic orange or plum blossoms. A little creamy, but unfortunately also a little scratchy. All on a base of laundry musk that intensifies in the drydown. For my personal taste this fragrance is too clean, cold and nondescript. Not unpleasant, but not what I imagine when I think of a true "love story" - it's missing a spark of passion and excitement. It's more like an innocent crush that never leads anywhere. This would be appropriate for days when you just want to smell clean and fresh, and it's relatively long-lasting for this kind of scent. But to be honest I think there are many better, equally easy-to-wear options in this category. No idea how this compares to the EDP as I haven't tried it.

This is a really fresh and elegant floral scent, and perfect for spring/summer. This was actually one of the very first perfumes that caught my attention when I was smelling perfumes in a mall one time. It's not that complex, but that's also what I like about it. It's nothing too crazy but I think it smells more 'classic', like it can work over an extended period of time. A really pretty scent for sure!

Foggy medical purity. Fresh. Purity points towards clean linen and delicate unscented washing-liquids of pharmacist. Sensed a hint of grass or bambu in the 1st test. But not much. Not weak, the scent surrounded me at least for an hour, noticably, when I applied some 4 squirts on me. An interesting, quite special scent.

SA gave me a sample of this perfume. I saw the picture of the bottle and was excited. A bottle so pretty had to contain a good stuff, no? Then I put it on, and waited. After a minute I realized that this is one of the weaker ones, so I'll have to sniff my wrist to check the progress of the scent. At first I smelled overwhelming sweetness. I was waiting for some flowers to appear out of that, and eventually they did, but the sweetness lingered. Unfortunately for Chloe Love Story EDT, I don't like overly sweet perfumes. I am able to overcome my dislike if the rest of the scent is really interesting. This one, however, isn't. I tried it on a couple more times, just in case, but the verdict remained the same: this one is a pass for me.

Recently got a sample of this. I am definitely getting white flowers (predominantly orange blossoms) and some peary fruitiness after an initial spritz. A little bit of vanilla roundness and a peppery character adds to the flowers on the drydown. A hint of sweetness for additional youth and girliness. Smells like springtime to me, but it is as pretty as it is forgettable on my skin.

I remember how I disliked the EDP because of the overwhelming white floral bitterness. This one is not that bitter. It's mildly white floral. I still don't like it. In my opinion, it's just not pleasant. Hoped more from this, but what can you do.

This to me is not worth the price at all. It turns so sour on me and doesn't last at all. Very disappointed and its going back to the store.

Got a sample of this edt. Smells like a toilet air freshener. A rose scented spray one. Painfully green, moldy and harsh.

Glad to see I'm not the only one who thinks this smells like Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet. Upon first spray I just thought it was nice but a few minutes later I kept sniffing my wrist. It smells so good I had to close my eyes to smell it just to take it all in. Then I thought this smells very similar to Blooming Bouquet. It's a soft feminine floral scent. Office safe. Something to wear on a day to day basis without offending anyone around you. I don't own it yet but it is on my wish list. I'm not in a hurry to buy because the few times I have tested it, it didn't last very long. Unfortunately, lasting power is as minimal as Blooming Bouquet. If I see it online for a decent price I'll be sure to grab it. For now I'll just enjoy it by stealing a few sprays when I visit the mall.

I was today years old when I found out there was an EDT & an EDP. I had to go get my bottle to see what I had. I have the EDP, but I'm down a rabbit hole trying to find out the difference. Then I saw above where most don't see a difference. Hmmm...anyway, I've always said my EDP smells like gain detergent to me. In a good way. I do not get BBW Sweet Pea tho. I have NEVER, NEVERRRR smelled such a complete difference in an EDT & EDP. EDT smells like rancid glue. NASTY! This should not have even been given the name "Love Story" b/c if someone tried this first, they would never in a million years try the EDP. This EDT was a scrubber & it was so bad I couldn't get it off of me & was scrubbing lotion into my skin. HORRID!

I got a sample of this yesterday and have been wearing it since. It was bugging me to no end that I recognized the fragrance but could't put my finger on it until I finally got it. It's really similiar to Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet. But while MDBB turns into a very sharp washing detergent smell on my skin, Love Story is more floral and fresh and not detergent-y at all. But in the end, I still prefer the regular Chloé EdP. I would not buy a full bottle of Love Story, but would not say no if I was offered it as a gift. EDIT: I cannot stop wearing this. I honestly don't want to wear anything else right now. Will buy a FB of this sweet floral gem.

Eau de Toilette is more beautiful than the Eau de Parfum! If you like the floral parfums this is for you. Smell like sweet fresh flowers in water in vase. I smell the orange blossom and the citrus when I first spray and then rose and something like the geranium (nasturcia?). Fruity flower of plum blossom. In the dry down a clean musk. This parfum is clean and very simple easy to wear every day. Good for day time spring and summer. Such a pretty parfum and hard to find compared to the original Chloe Love Story Parfum. I found this in eBay. Such a pretty perfume!!!

it was expensive and doesn't last on my skin. even it's very lasting on clothe but i still disappointed. the bottle is adorable but it's doesn't work, sorry to mention that. i think this perfume is for young sweet teenage girl the good points are, i can imagination people wearing it for walk out, going to the park, going to the shopping mall, celebrating birthday, working in the office and wedding event. a bit harsh in the opening and turn down after an hour. it sweet and flowery

LOVE story indeed. The perfume surround you in flower Shell without spreading their heavy sweetness. My skin keeps the orange blossom but most of all, the plum blossom. The feeling that lasts on me is a feeling of a creamy,hidratated skin. Unlike the EDP, EDT does not last as long but it opens much quickly as a smell and it îs very fresh. I won't mention the bottle which looks fantastic. Love Story is floral perfume for summer, playful and feminine. I recommend it.

This is quite nice, I like it a lot!! It is a pleasant refined floral, I love orange blossom, and the plum gives it a bit more edge. It has also a certain sweetness, which makes me think I would love wearing it in spring!! I might get a bottle, this is very nicely done, elegant, casual, and I forgot to add , it smells great!!! I don't see how anybody could dislike this !? Anne Flipo just has the nose for prettiness!!

This perfume is more like a cologne to me.. maybe because I immediately compare it to the EdP version. @The Swedish Girl According to your reviews, EVERY perfume smells bad - like "toilet cleaner", "mildew", "ammonia", "melted plastic","indolic toilet paper"... I'd take your reviews a lot more seriously if they were balanced and - occasionally - you could get through one without being derogatory about the fragrance you are testing. I rest my case.

The opening is a bit alcoholic, them it turns into a warm and slightly sweet soap with a touch of powder. It’s the best from this line, but i am not really impressed. Chloè is really not my brand. If you like Chloè and perfumes like Glow by Jlo you will probably like this. Final note: 6/10

A bit crisp and harsh when spraying, but within few hours it settles for nice clean bit soapy flowery 'expensive' smell. When you want to smell clean and 'just nice' and nothing coconutty exotic bubblegum oriental= just my cup of tea. It stays on clothes but it doesn't linger around.

More fresher and more floral than the original version. The scent is lighter version of Dior Pure Poison. This one definitely for day wear. I can wear it easily on day and work. What I don't like about this perfume is longevity, very poor longevity and plus it is expensive.

To me its another regular pink floral. Of course not horrible, very safe and lovely really, but I wouldn't recommend if you want something different. Edit: The dry down has actually got more interesting, I can smell the fresher accords, but then after that, it disappears.

Harsh bitter pointless floral with no redeeming features. Sophisticated interestingly styled bottle apparently containing floor-cleaner. Very faint hint of violet powder dry-down. I love all the Chloe bottle designs, I wish they would put something nice in them!

I love the musky drydown. But there is a synthetic note that is very sweet and would suit a younger, perhaps teenage girl. I am 39 and I find this scent very pretty, but do not love wearing it myself. It is long-lasting, 8 hours on skin, 12+ hours on hair.

This smells exactly like Dahlia Divin Initiale! Very soft beautiful summer perfume! So sophisticated 😍
