Musgo Real Alto Mar

Let's be real: I was tipsy. We were walking down the hilly streets of Lisbon after a wine tasting in the middle of a heat wave when I spotted Claus Porto and recognized the name from my list of places of interest. Sweat pouring down my face, I'd told the kind salesperson to wrap this one up before I had time to really know it, as you do when you've had six half-glasses of Portuguese wine. After wearing it for a month now (with the great majority of those times in a sober state), I've fallen in love with this one. A toothpaste-y mintiness lasts for about 5 minutes before it mellows down to a slightly sweet sea breeze with a herbaceous hint, like melting a sugar cube over an absinthe on a seaside terrace. Really wonderful and, for me, warmly tied to memories of an August in Lisbon.

I bought it as a souvenir from Lisbon and don’t regret it. Even though I bought it for a man, but I also wore it on a warm day. The absinth note is detectable and add to its uniqueness. It’s a really interesting, fresh, perfectly balanced blend, certainly not a flat scent. Not sure if I’d buy again, as it’s not one of those scents that I absolutely love and would buy over and over again but it’s certainly a nice, fresh, holiday, more casual fragrance, which brings nice memories back:-)

I bought this blind, dont regret it but dont think it was the best choice. The scent is pleasant and mature, kind of feminine, very powdery and really smells like a good mojito. I can see myself using it in the summer when going out to somewhere chill (for a mojito maybe hahahah). Good price per ml for the quality, not suited for young people imo.

No reviews? As a fan of Ms Bugey this sparked my interest and it's another well crafted release. Distinctly minty off the top which plays well with the aquatic touches. The mint/absinthe works really well as it's not a cloying sort of mint but a fresh one, giving the impression of a crisp sea breeze. If you like aquatic fragrances this could be one to check out as it's creative enough to have that X-factor.
