Saguaro Blossom & Sand

I have tried nearly all of the Clean Avant Garden fragrances and this is solidly in my top three. Unlike many of the other Clean products, this is surprisingly complex, and stays that way after dry down which I find to be unusual for this brand. It is definitely floral, and more feminine than many of the other scents from this line. People aren't wrong when they say they smell Lily of the Valley. But on my skin there is an almost mineral freshness that, I guess, is supposed to represent "sand" that balances the florals and keeps it from being too flowery or sweet. I think this is more of a safe blind buy than other Clean Avant Garden fragrances, but I also recommend the $75 coffret set they sell on the Clean website as this fragrance is represented there. If you are interested in the Clean Avant Garden line, it is a good way to find which ones you are actually going to like.

This is a very fresh citrusy floral scent with a good dose of greenness to it. It is amazing for spring, like the rest of this collection. This one in particular is very refreshing and cheerful. Not my favorite of the Avant Garden scents, but fun to wear.

I was excited to buy this as I saw a review that said it was discontinued and I had taken a picture of it over a year ago to remember to buy it because I liked it but I had forgotten what it smelled like. I finally received it in the mail from Macy’s and I don’t like it anymore. It smells very floral which isn’t a problem but on my skin it smells like a glade air freshener just more expensive. It smells just like inflorescence by Byredo on my skin but less chemical like. Unfortunately they both smell like a floral glade spray on my skin. Maybe it’s just me. It doesn’t smell terrible but I don’t want anyone to tell me I smell like glade. That being said it also has a very weak sillage on me and an even weaker longevity which I didn’t expect from it as I have Sweetbriar and Moss from this collection and it has both great longevity and sillage. I’m still debating to myself if I should go through the hassle of returning it or just keeping it. Edit: this fragrance grew on me. I no longer smell that chemical can floral I used to and it evolves into something soft and sensual in the dry down on my skin and I love it. It reminds me of the dry down of Ambrette 9 by Le Labo on my skin. I’ve also gotten a bunch of compliments on it from men and women! That being said the longevity is still somewhat poor on my skin. It lasts about 3-4 hours. Around 5 hours I can’t even smell the dry down

Soft like a whisper.. Lily-of-the-valley, Wood, mimosa and freesia. Flowery, dreamy and feminine. Clean, soft and comfy. Pleasant and inoffensive. When you just want to smell good...this is it. For summer and spring in light clothing. Silage is moderate and longevity is above average.

My least favorite of Clean's Avant Garden collection. Unremarkable. The citrus notes read as cleaning products to me, both in the bottle and on my skin.
