Soft Laundry

Most Clean fragrances are harsh or stingingly ozonic to my nose, but this one is really beautiful! Green neroli-bergamot vibe with bucketloads of sweet fluffy clean musk. Like a citrus garden on a summer rain day. Reminds me of Xerjoff Nio, Artisan Pure, Creed Jardin d'Amalfi and Tom Ford Mandarino di Amalfi. With bucketloads of neutral sweet-fluffy musk added of course. Very simple, nothing groundbreaking. Just classy and very pleasant. This lasted very long on my skin and I sensed it wafting around. That's probably because my nose is very sensitive to musks. A large portion of people are completely nose-blind to the musks that are used here, so their perception will be much less fluffy and sweet than mine.

I'm in love with this relatively new Clean Perfume release! The citrus-floral-musk combination of Soft Laundry reminds me so much of Diorissima, my favorite from the Christian Dior line. This is a fresh, clean, linen-like scent for days when you just want to smell like you just stepped out of the shower. Something about this really calms and uplifts my mood that I tend to reach for it a lot, especially on warm sunny days. Projection and sillage are ok -- I get a lot of compliments about how nice and fresh I smell when I use it. I just wish it lasts longer but hey, with its price vs. Diorissima, I'm not really complaining about having to reapply every 3 hours!

on skin, smells like fresh laundry that you dried with bounty dryer sheets to me - very soft and that slightly soapish clean laundry scent at the same time, like you're wearing clothes fresh out of the dryer - makes you feel very clean! much much better than warm cotton to me as a laundry scent - which i HATED and gave me a terrible headache because it was too synthetic and sharp and the musk was weirdly ozonic in a bad way to me

The scent matches the name exactly. Clean, soapy, fluffy and cozy. My personal favourite in the laundry/soap or skin-but-better category. Great choice for situations you just want to smell clean and shower fresh, not like perfume. Intimate sillage and low projection are only a plus.

Immediately knew it is my new favourite after smelling it. So glad i got a bigger bottle. It's the softest, soapiest clean perfume i have ever tried. Longevity isn't an issue for me because I like to over spray.

Love this! Such a clean, comforting smell. Nothing like other typical clean-like perfumes out there. Fits perfectly for a woman who wants to just smell.. nice and clean, with a neatly personal hygiene.

A soft laundry for sure! Personally I think they should’ve called this one the Warm Cotton! Watery, warm and delicate! Beautiful!

I've tried quite a few of Clean's laundry scents, and I have to say this one is my favorite from the line! I'm very picky about detergent-like perfumes - it can't be too synthetic, too sharp, and I usually prefer something more neutral all the way around (not too floral, too masculine, etc.). This one smells very aquatic, and like fresh, pure cotton sheets taken straight out of the dryer - but you didn't over-use the detergent. There's just a hint of lemon freshness mixed in, but it's a very refreshing lemon that doesn't smell like cleaners. To me, the breakdown is: - 60% "neutral" aquatic/ozonic (not masculine leaning) - 20% cotton/"linens" - 10% powdery aldehydes - 10% fresh lemon juice (not sweetened, just freshly squeezed lemons and nothing else) My overall favorite "fresh/detergent" smell is still BBW's Sea Island Shore (mist formula pre-2022; this year's version is not the same) - nothing can top that one in my book - but this is a great one too.

I'm generally not into soapy/detergent scents (not because I don't like how they smell; I just prefer to smell like I'm wearing fragrance), but this one smells sooo good. Like the brand's other offerings, this one definitely smells Clean, but instead of a soap or detergent type smell, this actually smells like clean laundry. With this fragrance I actually don't experience distinct individual notes, so much as the feeling of freshness and comfort you get from burying your face in a load of warm laundry just fresh out of the dryer.

This is actually surprisingly lovely. I thought I wouldn’t like it since I find most of the Clean Classics a bit too synthetic but this is something else! The pear makes it feel modern, yet crisp and clean and the bergamot adds this very nice citrus note to it. I’ve been reaching for this more than I expected. I wear it on sunny days but also to bed since it gives me that ~freshly washed sheet~ vibe without being too much.

There's a citrusy sharpness in here that reminds me of when you stick your nose directly into powdered laundry softener. To me, this is like the motion of taking out freshly washed (still damp) laundry and throwing it into the dryer with a dryer sheet. It's a no-brainer for me on summer days when I stay at home and I just need something comforting and uplifting.

It’s alright, it’s not the best from clean beauty line, but it’s not the worst. I think soft laundry is a little two soft for me. Let’s see how it wears in the gym though. My friends agree- says this one smells the best compared to flower fresh, cool cotton fresh laundry on my skin.

Bright, citrusy and clean. Fresh and aquatic. Simple and straightforward. Not as synthetic smelling as other Clean fragrances. Smelled like sheets fresh out of the dryer. I use it mostly for the gym. Cozier and fluffier than Fresh Laundry by Clean.

It definitely smells like something out of Philosophy’s grace family. If you enjoy pure grace and amazing grace, you will most likely like this. But on the other hand if you have them you definitely don’t need this. It’s fresh, musky and laundry.

The Clean fragrance line piqued my interest because I love soapy scents. I liked this but it was feminine enough for me to give it to my mom. Did not last long sadly. I also have Pure Soap and Warm Cotton but they give me more of a detergent vibe. Still useful to spray on linens or in the washroom. Aqua Neroli is my favorite from the line.

Very fresh and clean fragrance. It is light & the sillage is intimate, no matter how much you spray you won’t smell it on you unless you smell your shirt. Soft laundry is unisex, and it is best worn indoors or to bed. This can be worn all year round , does not cause any headache. Only down fall is that it’s not strong enough .

A nice laundry-like scent! Sillage and longevity are non-existent unfortunately. I got it for a good price at TJ Maxx...absolutely would not pay retail.

This smells generic and kinda smells a bit like cologne. It smells like laundry that you forgot in the washer after a couple of hours, like stale laundry. Kinda smells like detergent. I won't be buying this fragrance again. 4-5/10

Here's a comparison of most laundry scents Clean offers: Soft Laundry - not similar to Fresh Laundry at all. This is more youthful and lighter. Musky, slightly floral, and citrusy. There is definitely citrus in this despite what the notes show. Not sure if I would use it, it's a bit more like a cleaning product rather than laundry detergent or clean laundry which is what I was looking for. My main impression is that this is a soft musky neroli + lemon or some other unsweet citrus scent, not bad but not at all what's advertised. Fresh Linens - very very musky. Musk is the dominant note. This is the closest one to Skin by Clean in a sense that this is a very warm musky clean skin scent as well, with some amber in the base. This one I can actually smell on myself unlike Skin, although barely. Definitely has amboxan or Iso E or whatever they put in these skin type scents. It's very weak on me but I wonder if it's stronger to other people that can smell these types of scents. I assumed this scent is exactly what Skin would have smelled like based on the description. Overall it's very nice, not what I was expecting but I am pleasantly surprised. Fresh Laundry - compared to Warm Cotton this smells more like actual laundry washed with floral/sweet laundry detergent, rather than the citrusy laundry detergent itself, which is what Warm Cotton is. Fresh Laundry is almost fruity in comparison. Not masculine, but somehow leans towards a more mature scent I can't see myself wearing. It just doesn't have that clean, after the shower feeling I was looking for, it's actually pretty heavy, almost dusty. Cool Cotton - definitely straight up lemon cleaner as many people have said. I was expecting a strong lemon based on the reviews, and generally I like the smell of cleaners, but this is way too realistic, it doesn't smell like a perfume but like a literal window cleaner. Not much else to it Warm Cotton - Tide detergent scent but in the best way. Pretty unisex but only if sprayed lightly, if you spray a lot it turns slightly masculine. These types of laundry scents aren't supposed to be loud or it comes off as a cheap cologne, so I would definitely recommend only spraying one or two sprays as this is extremely strong and lasts hours. The best one out of all the Clean laundry scents in my opinion.
