Coach Blue

I understand where some are coming from with the "generic" statements on most fragrances. I have around 60 fragrances and at a certain point they will all start to smell the same and none really stand out. This is bc it is like an addiction, and you need more, you need something stronger and special to excite your senses, while you're chasing that feeling of nostalgia or that lustful excitement felt when you discovered the intoxicating aroma of your first above average fragrance. The thing is though, that while some are similar and clearly duplicated. They are all still unique and identifiable in their own ways. I would say close your eyes clear your mind and take a moment to actually appreciate each fragrance for what they are. With that said, I personally find this to be a wonderful scent. I do see similarities, but it has its own characteristics. It is blue, sweet, clean, woodsy. Overall just a great fragrance, I have gotten compliments on. It is one of my gf's favorites out of all the ones I have. You will not regret purchasing this. I will for sure buy it again. Also take into consideration that everyone has different taste. It's impossible to go off of what others say. Several times I have seen a fragrance hated on, and I couldn't understand why, and then see one that is loved and it smelled like shaving cream with burnt hair and dirty diapers, or a bouquet of potent flowers and baby powder. I personally like a slight Musk, with strong wood scents, top end fruit or mint, I also enjoy the Tobacco and vanilla. I don't like baby powder or floral scents. Creed Millesime or Sean Jean Unforgivable is my favorite fragrance. Someone else might hate what I like. All scents also smell different on each person. You just have to find what you like and what smells good on you. I have witnessed scents smelling amazing on one person and just stink on another.

Let's start with the presentation. This bottle I must say, looks fantastic! The classic Coach design with the iconic horse and carriage logo on the bottle, and the beautiful blue gradient, giving it that fresh and aquatic touch. Love it! Now, let's get to the smell. Wow! I'm getting a burst of freshness right off the bat! This fragrance opens up with some citrusy notes, like lime and bergamot, which gives it a nice zesty kick. It's super refreshing and perfect for the summer months. As it starts to settle down, I'm picking up on some ozone and green notes, which gives it a unique, clean, and slightly aquatic vibe. This is definitely a modern and trendy fragrance, perfect for casual outings or daytime wear. Finally, as we move into the dry down, I'm getting a soft, smooth, and slightly sweet base with notes of amber and cedar. This adds a nice depth to the fragrance, making it versatile and perfect for any man who wants to smell fresh and sophisticated. Now, let's talk about the performance. Coach Blue has moderate longevity and projection. I'd say you can expect to get around 5 to 7 hours of wear, and the projection is just right for those close encounters or when you want to leave a subtle scent trail. So, is Coach Blue worth it? In my opinion, absolutely! It's a perfect everyday scent for men, especially during the warmer months. It's fresh, modern, and versatile, and I can see this working well for guys of all ages. If you're a fan of fragrances like Dior Sauvage or Versace Dylan Blue, you'll definitely want to give this one a try.

One of the most enjoyable summer blue citrus fragrances for personal enjoyment, cool, elegant, easy, and effortless. simply based on notes of lime, absinthe, and ozonic. The rest of the notes mentioned you can barely notice. One of the best fragrances that used the absinthe note in a very refreshing and smooth way. a well-known rule that when you discover a flaw in something perfect, it is a shock that this perfect thing was not as perfect in its merits as expected. This rule applies perfectly to this fragrance. Unfortunately, the performance of the fragrance is very weak and almost unnoticeable. In other words, it is suitable for personal enjoyment only. - Is it a heat killer? Yes, definitely. The best time to use it is on hot summer mornings. also suitable for light walking, clubs, gyms, beaches, and swimming pools. - Is it a generic fragrance? Actually, yes. It doesn't offer anything new, but it does offer a special kind of pleasure for lovers of light perfumes. The bottle comes in a stunning gradient blue design in the traditional shape of the Coach fragrance series. My personal rating: An unforgettable fragrance if you are a fan of light, refreshing blue fragrances at a reasonable price.

Okay, I have to disclose that I am definitely biased for this fragrance as it was my first proper bottle ever. Despite this being rated as a spring/summer fragrance, I feel that you could wear this any day of the year, no matter the weather or the time. It is a really versatile smell that won't be displeasing for people to smell. My only gripe with this fragrance is the cap on the bottle. I am shocked that mine didn't break off while I was using it. It is really badly designed and feels super cheap. But you know what else is cheap? This fragrance! However, it doesn't last as long as other designer fragrances. You will have to respray in the afternoon, or more frequently during warmer weather. Like, it lasts. But by the end of the day you can only smell it very very faintly. Honestly, if you are just looking for something to buy just so you can smell good this will do the trick. It worked for me so it will probably work for you.

As with the Coach line in general, Coach Blue is an incredibly safe, inoffensive, mass appealing, value buys for a Blue scent out there. Surprisingly bright opening, fresh and ozonic. I also really like the lime note in this. Not overly done, but just pleasantly noticeable. Again, if you just consider the relatively low price of this (online for around $50/3.3oz. if not much less for a tester) and so judge it on the "you get what you pay for" factor, then I think it meets if not exceeds its price. Is it my favorite Blue scent out there? No, of course not. But is it my favorite Blue scent at this price point (factoring in added discounts from sellers online)? Probably yes. (And I have both Nautica Voyage and N83--slightly better performers for sure, but lesser scents compared to Coach Blue in my humble opinion.)

I was pleasantly surprised by this. I don't get the hate, it's generic for sure but so is the OG Coach for Men and Platinum is great but takes the DNA from Coach and adds cashmere, so Coach isn't ultra unique, it's whole line is for Mass Appeal, which Coach does very well. That said, blue is....well...BLUE! This is actually a crisp and ozonic, lime scent with a touch of amber and cedar. Showe gel-ish and a "dumb reach" for sure. I wanted to complete my Coach collection so this was bought as a tester for $35. Don't pay full retail for any Coach, they are great but the best is Platinum by far. I enjoy Blue and will definitely rock it come summer, with a refresh decant of course. Solid at $35 and will look good in the collection. I give it a 7/10 for being what it is, mass appeal with moderate EVERYTHING!

A fresh and appealing, but subtle fragrance. Nothing new in terms of its scent profile. You've probably smelled something similar to this before. Definitely, does not have any wow factor to it. However, it pulls this similar scent profile off quite well. This will get you compliments. Opens with a nice sweet, but refreshing, lime and airy ozonic notes. Then dries down to the cedarwood pretty smoothly. Slightly reminds me of Old Spice "Swagger" body wash, but done a lot better. Perfect for spring and summer. Both old and young can easily wear this. Overall, a nice, casual, and enjoyable fragrance to have.

I think this fragrance is AMAZING. This was my first designer freshie that i owned, and - wow is it amazing. You get this nice, fresh, citrusy and slightly spicy smell from the citrus and pepper notes, then it goes to a nice woody dry down. Honestly, fragrances like these are top notch for me and i couldn't go wrong with it at all. It has pretty good longevity and okay projection, but the bottle's atomizer can feel cheap. Despite that, the scent is a 10/10, but in general - It's a 9/10. One point taken off only due to it's atomizer, but beside that, this is an amazing fresh and great blind buy.

Great inoffensive wear anywhere cologne. Coach did a great job in making this beauty, it opens with a strong lime and Absinthe with Ozonic notes. When it dries down the lime is a little bit more prominent but that's when to cedar and amber come into play, then it smells like lime ozonic woodsy musk. For me this lasts around 6~7 hours. This is a great office fragrance and it is light, very inoffensive, everyone like its and you smell nice clean, and limey. Smell 9/10 Longevity 7/10 Projection 6/10 Performance 9/10 Wearability 10/10 Overall 8.2/10 Personal rating 8.5/10

Is it basic? Yes. But does it smell fresh, masculine, and aquatic and absolutely great for every occacion? Yes! You literally can't go wrong with this cologne. It's a perfect gift you can give any man. My brother got it as a gift and I personally really love it. Yes it's basic, and yes I have smelled similar scents many times. People jsut sometimes want to be "niche" and "not basic" but honestly you just can't go wrong with this scent for $40-50.

It's nothing out of this world but it's an extremely easy dumb reach for almost every occasion. Beautiful fresh citrusy blue fragrance with hints of aquatic notes that make it extremely easy to wear and a huge compliment getter. I just wish Coach made EDPs of their current lineup as the longevity is quite poor unless you overspray 10-15+ times. My normal 5 is definitely not enough with this one as it fades within 3 hours tops.

Pretty good. This is like an intense version of the freshies from the 90s, accompanied by a touch of fizz. Kind of has a cologne guy vibe about it, its hard to put into words. Describing it by notes is a bit pointless because it is very synthetic. Not inspired by Sauvage or Chanel Bleu but has a certain versatility that lands it in the blue genre. Some similarity to Chrome Aqua, but no calone here

Wow.. What a Blue.. after all of the blah blah Blues on the stage they say.. When was the last time you get hints of issey from a blue frag.. It is nice the lime is fresh smelling, nothing stale in the dry down at all.. not long lasting, but the new colognes, hey its 2020.. we wear masks..lol.. Stay safe everyone..wash wash scrub scrub.. and if nothing else we will smell good.

Excellent fresh/blue fragrance, nothing groundbreaking, but a pleasant, inoffensive scent you can wear for any occasion. It's my go-to fragrance for work during spring/summer. Preformance could be better but it's not terrible either. Would recommend to anyone looking for an affordable fresh, blue dumb-reach. 8.1/10

This is simply an amazing scent It was my first fragrance ever but still holds up with the other fresh scents I own. over time I feel it lost the metallic edge and smoothed down to a sweeter freshness.The main problem I have with it and many other is the longevity it feels like you constantly have to reapply it.

This is my personal favorite out of the line, it’s definitely not a scent that will blow you away, especially if you have a larger collection. However, it is crowd pleasing and smells great. This is a nobrainer fragrance, though it lacks in performance for the price you can just overspray. Overall solid 7/10

Absolutely IN LOVE! One of the best fragrances for men that can exist. Surprisingly, even my man, who is indifferent to perfumes, appreciated it and I think that this is an excellent gift for a strong and brave man who is confident in himself. Such man you want smell and smell and smell...

This fragrance is absolutely a good one! But it seems does not work well with my skin. I think it is like the Molecule O1 kind of fragrance. Not offensive, very intimate, and girls like it. One of a great summer Netflix & chill fragrance.

Very nice blue /shower gel fragrance for daily use. I think that this can be used any time of the year when you want to smell clean and fresh. This has average performance and biggest issue is the sprayer. 7.5/10

I love it. Warm summer days. Masculine, but leans unisex. Fresh and uplifting blue scent. Might be sort of generic, but still a good daily driver. Lime and Absinthe are main players.
