Get A Room

To me, Get A Room is a curious blend of cypress and citrus. I currently have cypress catkins on my desk to freshen up the place, and this perfume does remind me of the resinous freshness unique to cypress trees. The cypress blends seamlessly with the citrus, creating a fresh feeling. The blending of the two profiles reminds me of Bleu de Chanel. Not that it smells like Bleu, but it's very well-rounded with the harsh edges of the scent profiles smoothed away. And I really dislike Bleu, but Get A Room could be a new favorite for me. I love how it seems to transcend day/night, masculine/feminine, and the seasons. Look how evenly it's been rated! That's astounding! If you're looking for a unique, pleasant perfume that anyone can use anytime, anywhere, any season, this one's for you. I can smell the apple when I try, but it's not the dominant smell to my nose. To me, this profile leans slightly masculine, since all piney-resinous smells smell masculine to me. For most people, I think this would be a safe unisex fragrance.

It's interesting to see how different scents comes across on different people. So many are getting orange creamsicle and fruity vibes and I get none of that. At the beginning I get citrusy herbal. I generally do not like herbal but here, I have to say, I really liked it. Other herbal fragrances I've tried have either come across too green and made me feel like I was just walking around covered in basil or thyme, or they gave mj. Neither are what I want to smell like. I think it was the citrus, but something here just made it really enjoyable. As it starts to dry down I started to get a slightly more woody vibe. It wqs only at the very end after it became a skin scent, did I get any vanilla from this. This didn't have great projection, but lasted most of my work day. I also found this to be super unisex. I'm not running out to buy a bottle, but I'm definitely adding this to my want list.

This was definitely my signature scent fall 2020, and I'm excited for cooler weather so I can wear it again. First spray you get the apple, sage, and mandarin. They don't disappear but start to mellow, which is when you pick up the warm vanilla, spice, and woodsy notes. It's a well balanced perfume and I will still smell it on myself 12 hours later. I would suggest getting a sample before you buy, because it is a unique scent and not all of the notes will appeal to everyone. If you like the listed notes you might be safe for a blind buy. They do sales a couple times a year so I would wait for one if you want the best value. This is truly a unique scent, I have yet to smell something else like it.

One of my all time favorites. It's so sexy. It makes you feel sexy and would smell sexy on someone else. I am a girl, but I think it would be so incredible on a man, I would probably literally swoon. This scent lasts a long time on me. It smells soft and musky, but in a fresh way with a little fruit. I wouldn't really call it woody, it is really sweet on me. Anything that I have come across that smells even a little similar doesn't hold a candle to this fragrance. Top contender for if I had to choose a signature scent for myself. I would repurchase this and would pretty much pay whatever they ask for it. My favorite time to wear it is when summer is ending, but it's not quite autumn yet.

This makes for a good intimate perfume! The apple/fruity scent gives way almost immediately to a light cedar and vanilla combo. Unfortunately, it doesn't have a crazy silage; even right after applying, someone would have to sniff my skin directly to smell this. This has good longevity, probably about 5-6 hours (again, sniffing my skin directly.) Would be a good perfume to wear if you're on a nice date with a happy ending or on the prowl for a (slightly sophisticated) partner for the night. Overall, a nice youthful, sexy, and mysterious perfume! Just wish it protected more.

This is ALMOST SINGLE (read my review) the same vibe but now in a different setting. I'm talking about, a nice room, champagne, good music and nothing else. Oh, and room service the next morning. Smells amazing on my man. Chefs kiss. Fresh, sweet, with such a yummy milky Froot Loops CEREAL dry down. I think that's the whole point, getting a room late at night. Then, breakfast the next morning. So sexy! How cool is this perfume. So real, I LOVE it for that reason. Song for this would be Nothin' on You by Cody Johnson. BISOUS

Love this one! A lot of people described it to me as "sexy" beforehand which I don't really get. It starts almost like a milky creamy vanilla with orange and dries down a bit more powdery and I get that nice clary sage that stays with me. It smells like 90s dream, orange creamsicle magic. The vibe it gives me is much more "beachside brunch with a smoothie" It's sweeter than my daily vibe but not too sweet. I'd wear it to attend a baby shower or something.

This smells very sexy. Woodsy, creamy and fresh. But it only lasts about an hour and a half before I have to reapply. Now I don’t mind reapplying because I love all the notes in this and the drydown is amazing, but for the price?!?! I wish it lasted longer and projected more. Honestly though, despite that letdown this might be a new favorite. Definitely unisex, I’m a lady but I would go NUTS if I smelled this on a man!

This one pleasantly surprised me. This is sweet and citrusy but also woodsy and musky. Definitely reminds me of G Water but more like a cousin than a sister scent. I get a light lemon pound cake sweetness coming from the vanilla and mandarin orange along with a fresh woodiness that makes it really interesting. Think G Water+ Lira + D&G Light Blue. It is fresh and delicious and complex.

Sexy sour apple, androgynous leaning slightly femme which I love as it fits my vibe well. Can be worn day or night, any season, super versatile. It seems like it lasts on clothes until you wash them again, hints of sour green apple. I adore apple notes and this is so well and interestingly done, nothing quite like it. all time fav

This is my scent! I never thought about it being a masculine scent, but ion reading reviews it is quite possible. But I get speed so much feeling me how wonderful I smell wearing this. It's gorgeous and I like sexy, sweet gourmet accents alot as well. Artichoke suggestions of others to try. Thanks for your time!

This was a favorite of mine for years, and I can't believe I forgot about it. It smells like a morning hike through a dewy conifer forest after a night of rain, but not earthy nor particularly overpowering. It's a little sweet, but not super girly or immature as well.

Very sensual, warm vanilla, alluring, not too complicated or mature. Young but not juvenile, hot, and seductive. Love it. I was stopped outside and asked what I was wearing. This perfume is suitable for most occasions and I think it is rather feminine than unisex.

The best way I can think of to describe Get A Room is sexy fruit loops. Creamy vanilla/musk smell. Alluring. Very sweet smelling. Not really woody. Maybe a tad fruity. I would wear this any season any occasion.

I absolutely LOVE Get a Room. The scent is unique and beautiful. Unfortunately, it doesn't last very long on the skin. :( I am able to smell it ever so lightly on my clothes after a few hours though.

this smells uncannily like the orange grove part of soaring over california and it made me so nostalgic. 10/10.

This one is easy to like. Maybe even easy to love. Lightly sweet and woody, it avoids smelling juvenile, which is a pitfall of many fruity fragrances. It's a bit spicy on first spray, but on the dry down, it softens up a little into something really pretty and alluring. On me, it lasts 8+ hours with moderate projection. This reminds me of a best friend. Not necessarily MY best friend, who definitely doesn't wear this fragrance, but that friend that we've all known FOREVER. Maybe we go a few months without talking, but the next time we hang out, it's like no time has passed at all. Smelling this feels like meeting up with that friend. It's warm, comfortable, and tinged with suppressed sapphic attraction. If you know, you know. The woman who wears this has her act together. Her kitchen is color coordinated, she remembers birthdays, and she is NEVER LATE. EVER. I probably have a little crush on her.

This scent is one of the true unisex scents of their collection. It is a great scent for people to wear by itself, but it really lends itself towards layering. The amazing white musk with the vanilla compliments a lot of other woodsy/leather/musky scents. Also, this is a great one for people who don't necessarily need/want to make a statement with their scent. All of confession's scents are very safe (even being unique), and this one is no different. A nice sweet vanilla with plenty of woods and musk.

This perfume is a weird one. When I first got it, it had a very sharp initial note that was a turnoff, and it was almost as sickly sweet as Prada Candy, but it at least didn't make me sneeze like a fiend the way Candy did. After about a week, though, this scent really grew on me. It's very sweet and caramelly, and you can really smell the apple and vanilla. The initial spray is very strong. It lasts for a few hours, longer on clothes than skin. I really like it.
