This one is the only fragrance that I think has truly captured the essence of your skin but better. It really is such a lovely enhancer and makes you feel better and also at peace. I don’t detect much floral more sweet cardamom like musk and I actually HATE musky scents but this is the perfect mix of woodsy, powdery but skin like powder with how smooth it is blended and an overall peaceful scent. Overall I’d say this would be a good office scent, it would be hard to find someone that hates it I think... Update: I bought it! I tried it twice, I remember the first time was with a sales associate, she thought it would be really nice for me and at the time I didn’t mind it but I was HEAVY in my gourmand perfume hunt so I wasn’t looking for it. Then I tried it maybe a few weeks ago again and I really liked it, decent longevity, not a big sillage but it’s not really made to be a big performer which I’m fine about because THIS will probably be my office scent and in fact I’m surprised I didn’t buy it earlier but I’m happy because I bought this on a ridiculously good sale price 😍🤑

Oh wow. I bought sample of this at the Nose shop in Paris and walked around Paris for a week thinking everyone in the city smelled divine, only to keep finding the source of this wonderful scent my own wrist. Warm cardamom is definitely front and center here and remains so for 12-24 hours. It’s so wonderful. The flowers, to me, don’t smell floral but do lend a certain sweetness and milkiness to the cardamom. Wearing this makes me feel the same way cozying up with a milky chai tea. I don’t get any of the cedar, (thank goodness because it always leans hyper masculine on me) and the faintest neroli keeps things feeling clean rather than dirty/spicy. This is going to be my go-to this fall/winter.

I just purchased this mature, sensual, intimate fragrance on ebay Italy for a ridicolous price. The ylang-ylang is prominent, but not overpowering. It's a bit dusty and pungent white flower opening, which molds togheter tuberose and rose. After twenty minutes, this delicate mixture forms a sort of second skin. Personally, I do not detect any resemblance to Burberry Body: So Nude notes are much more sensual and closer to skin. The drydown is almost androgynous: the cedar is strenghtened and emboldened by caraway. Staying power is just a matter of individual skin chemistry: it greatly varies during life. On me, So Nude permeates my wrist for 8+ hrs!

Got a crazy deal on this after smelling it in a local gift shop one day, spraying it, huffing my wrists like a maniac all day, and going back over a month later after not being able to stop thinking about it. When I took it home and sprayed it, I was worried I had overhyped it to myself (just another white floral, what's the big deal?), but in mere seconds, I remembered why I fell in love with this fragrance. This is less of a capital-P Perfume to me and more a bottle of what people who smell good smell like. It smells effortless. No makeup makeup, but for perfume. Wear it anywhere all the time forever.

I LIKE this so much! It becomes a skin scent rather quickly on me, but what a delicious skin scent it is :) Sweet, creamy, slightly woody and soft spicy. So well blended, in my opinion. I will be wearing this often, and am keen on testing other perfumes from this house now. So Nude, is my introduction to CoSTUME NATIONAL and what a pleasant introduction that turned out to be. I recommend So Nude if you want something a little different, mildly exotic and non offensive. And it turns out to be a decent choice for layering with some of my sweet perfumes as well.

Is different but similar in a subtile waynot the sane notes but the sane beautiful fragrance! So nude is a very feminine scent, like woman skin but also floral i don't know tuberose but this one is very delicate floral scent! Wow!

I really like this! Upon first application there is a strong (nice!) note of fermented black/forest blueberries. This unfortunately disappears quickly after which the scent turns into a beautiful sweet and musky fragrance. I didn’t detect any sharp cardamom, which I’m very happy about, since cardamom-notes like those in Santal 33 give me a terrible headache unfortunately.

Neroli, tuberose, patchouli, blended smoothly. I love these three notes so it's a love for me. Not too loud, not light either, just right. Decent duration. 8/10

- This is amazing! It smells like a beautiful white floral to me and it lasted about 4 hours on my wrist with 1 spray. I tried it at a niche perfume store in Melbourne. I’m so surprised it has yang ylang in it bc I don’t pick it up on my skin. I’m also surprised by patchouli and cumin. It’s just a light, beautiful woody tuberose on me. The 30mL bottle is perfect for travel and I love the design of the bottle. I have a few white florals already so I don’t need this one right now but it’s lovely.

The name corresponds well, it's tuberose made skin-like. It doesn't project much, it is more subtle, woodsy, simple, slightly sweet and there are spices in all the right places, just for it to remind of a human more, with all the nuances of skin. It smells so velvety and smooth. I find it very beautiful, it is a perfect slip silk camisole or silk underwear perfume. I am rating it as a like just because I am not so huge on tuberoses, but is is just simplicity done so well. +

I’ve got a hard time to decide if I do really like it or not. The tuberose here is a bit too soapy, and the woody spice a bit too light, and the nude creamy side a bit too discreet, it doesn’t project, or does it?, and ... well, I admit that I wear it every evening those days to go to bed. So special, so what ? Go figure. I like it. A lot.

Resembles Inle by Memo. Surprised no osmanthus is in the note list.

This is very beautiful. Very feminine and not abrasive

To me, this smells more like something for scented sachets in a wardrobe, or perhaps a laundry detergent. It is a very sweet floral scent. I had hoped to get more of the spices, especially the cardamom and caraway, but what I mostly smell is that soapy, sweet rose note you might find in a laundry-detergent factory. If you overspray, this could easily become a little headache-inducing.

It was was love at first scent. I adored the intoxicatingly noticeable notes of intermingled flowered and spice. It was unique and beautiful. Then, as time past by, the scent did not disapate of dry down to a more subdued, delictible blend of this unique combination. It remained strong - sickingly so. Within hours, I was trying to wash it off as my head pounded and my stomach did flip flops. So Nude begins with such promise, but ends with a annoying strong silage and an embarrassing longevity. If you enjoy this scent and wish it to last for an exorbitant amount of time, this is for you; however, if you are looking for a lovely drydown and moderation - this may not be for you.

A real sexy cosy scent. Love it!! I often have a problem with cedernotes,it often turn male'ish on my but in nude it does not and its just perfect. A keeper! Now I have used so nude for several days and it reminds me of Donna Karan Cashmere Mist in base - the warm, muskywoody feeling. they are not the same but that basenote reminds me.. The floral sweetness is quite upstaged by the woods. Not sure I could use up my decant, but it's wearable, at least.

Oof -- this is loud! I don't get a lot of the spices, just very bold, slightly synthetic sweet tuberose and tropical ylang ylang. Texturally, this is very creamy. I don't like it much; despite the creamy feel, I find this to be too screechy and it seems to give me a headache. I wouldn't really know where or when to wear this either: the sweetness feels girly, but the tuberose adds a maturity. In short, So Nude does very little for me, but gaving said that, the reviews reveal such different experiences that it is probably best to check for yourself!

My, this is seriously sweet stuff. In the beginning you get a blast of cardamomy-tuberose reminiscent of cinammon..Then ylang-ylang and caraway step in...It's all super overpowering, and even though it has a potential of being a nice skin scent it just doesn't do it for me.. Settles down into a very sweet soapy smell, a little cheap smelling on me..Nowhere near a smell of a naked woman..

Quite the chemical scent on my skin. Not a chemical bomb, but unpleasant plastic spice. Meh. Happy it works for others!

I hated this. I wish I could smell what other reviewers do. Big white floral with something granny-ish underneath; polished wood, dirt, old carpets. Starts with a strong chemical smell but softens in the dry down. Easily forgotten, within an hour almost gone.

Gone within 15 minute I don't even know what this suppose to smell Here i hope i'd get skin-like notes just like my leau papier, phlur missing person or JHAG not a perfume JUST WHAT IS THIS?!

I received a generous carded sample of Costume National SO NUDE and a bunch of other nice samples along with an order I placed with a real person at Barneys. Note to sample-hungry perfumistas: full-service, high-end brick-and-mortar establishments are the only way to go. True, you generally pay MSRP for whatever you buy there, but the perks are sometimes worth it! Plus there's something nice and nostalgic about the notion of full service, isn't there? So how is SO NUDE? First off, it opens with a very detectable tuberose note in a kind of cacophony of florals and spices. The tuberose then steps back a bit, making room for a yummy (and also very detectable) cardamom note. At this point, for me, it's love. However, my usual Costume National reservations begin as the perfume approaches drydown. It's the base. I like when a house uses a readily identifiable base--it serves as a sort of fingerprint on all or many of their works. Lots of them do this: Yves Rocher, Lush, Elizabeth Arden (have you noticed how Badgley Mischka, Britney Spears, Juicy Couture, and some of the other EA-produced designer and celebrity perfumes share the same base?), L'Artisan Parfumeur, the list goes on and on, and Costume National definitely numbers among them. I own two perfumes from this house: SCENT GLOSS and SCENT SHEER, and I very much prefer the former, because the latter is basically all base all the time. As niche as this house may seem to be, they use a very synthetic musky base which does not always appeal to me. In the case of SO NUDE, the opening and mid-stages have been dressed up, but as the perfume unfurls, it eventually leaves behind the tell-tale Costume National base, which has great longevity but eventually starts to get on my nerves. All in all, if you like this house, you might like SO NUDE. I'm not sure, because the big tuberose is going to be too much for those who really enjoy SCENT SHEER. It's definitely worth a sniff, no doubt about that. Much more complex than I surmised from the name and the marketing campaign...

It's not everyday that you smell a woody tuberose fragrance. So Nude by Costume National is less focused on the white floral aspects, and more zoned into the creamy and sheer qualities of this popular flower. A knowledgeable sales assistant was the one to introduce me to So Nude. I had been looking for a feminine woods scent, and was surprised when she led me to the Costume National counter. I already own and love Costume National 21, however I was dubious that So Nude could live up to the expectations. I am naturally quite taken with So Nude. This fragrance is unique and inoffensive, soft like a skin-scent but not in a bland sense of the word. It smells rather woodsy on the skin with a dominant cedar accord, paired with some subtle spices like cardamom and caraway. The tuberose note in So Nude is creamy and clean. As I mentioned previously, this fragrance does not resemble a fresh, white floral bouquet. Instead it smells like warm skin, with a hint of coconutty lotion. So Nude is not my favourite fragrance from the house of Costume National, but it is one of the stand-outs. I think it could easily be unisex, especially with such a bold cedar note. I am also pleased to say that So Nude's longevity was excellent, lasting a good twelve hours on my skin. I recommend.

Some reviewers here noted that they found this weak, more like a skin scent, which is a total surprise to me. Of course, every fragrance experience is personal, depending on one's body chemistry and personal taste. Speaking from my experience with SoNude, I can feel this on me literally the whole day. When sprayed on clothes, you can smell it quite strongly even the next day. Scent-wise, it is a big LOVE for me. I am a true fan of powdery and musky scents. This one is close to that category with more sweetness and a more prominent woody and flowery vibe, although the tuberose note is not very dominant. Probably these aspects save it from smelling like a grandma's perfume as in the case of many powdery alternatives. It is still feminine and, to some extent, mature though. It would be more appealing to women in their mid or late 20s and older. I am enjoying my first bottle now and I find myself getting back to this every now and then. Very happy that I gave it a chance despite some negative reviews.

This is not the typical feminine white floral especially for a tuberose. I could easily imagine a man wearing this. Although I haven’t smelled Tom Ford’s newest Tubereuse Nue, I imagine it smells similar to this. I swear I smell the slightest hint of suede/leather on my skin...very slight. That might be the cumin as others have mentioned being a note instead of caraway. Much like cocofluff, I feel this is a woody floral. I don’t get ylang, caraway or patchouli either. On my skin, this is a soft scent. It’s very nude and the notes are super blended. I also understand why some think this smells generic. It’s can’t smell much going on with this one. It barely smells like I’m wearing a fragrance. It’s just a cloud of semisweet warmth with hints of flowers and spice. To give a point of reference, this is about as much tuberose as you will find in let’s say Tom Ford Soleil Blanc.

Fleshy flowers! This is a great blend of petals, tuberose, rose, neroli, ylang ylang in order of appearance. Cardamom is warm and smooth, cumin (not caraway as listed above) adds just a little dry, sweet dirt. The woody base of patchouli and cedar is comforting, fortifying. Sexy sweet skin. Richer than the EDT with more pronounced flowers and stronger all round. This nude EDP and white EDT pairing are like a more natural, slightly less feminine, Italian version of Narciso's white and blush cube bottles.

I was curious to try it, it is a nice floral, I agree it is basically a tuberose based scent,,then it turns into a floral spicy scent..not sure the cumin works, it gets a bit of a foody vibe, not my favorite part..! I don't know if I truly like it..I will say if given a bottle, I would wear it.lit is attractive for the most part.. it isn't heady, and it has that something different..now, I won't go buy it..I can easily do without it..

I really thought I would love this one. Tuberose, ylang-ylang, caraway, patchouli. Whats not to love in these notes? And I ́m, a sucker for anything called "chypre" too... But alas, no. Sickly sweet, cloying. Gave it several wearings, to see if I would change my mind. But no, kind of headache inducing too. Big thumbs down.Too bad.

Not sure what I am missing, but on me this is nothing to write home about. I got it in my ipsy bag and have tried it twice. I can hardly smell it after an hour and it just doesn't register as more than "generic" to me. Glad it works better for others.

Wonderful bouquet of white flowers, tuberose, Jasmin and neroli. Very fresh scent of clean sheets but without the powdery notes. Perfect scent for spring morning. Suddenly it fades fast

This is a creamy, soft, woody tuberose scent. It reminds me of another favourite of mine: Amarige. Be careful not to overspray though: 2 sprays is more than enough.

He looks like his chypre Body Burberry, the same gentle, delicate, unobtrusive chypre. Made of the same dough, shades of the same color.

same as by nebbe: acid plastic and strong scent, even scrubbing doesn't really help. not for me
