Courreges In Blue Eau de Parfum

It's a long time since I bought this perfume blindly, at first I was very disappointed, I thought it smelled like an old drawer, or closet, I was thinking of selling it, but than things changed after I have been sniffing it several times, and in fact it grew on me and smells wonderful on my skin, and somehow it reminds me of my old and so much wanted Armani for her, and yes, it is the galbanum!! To me, first came the lavender, and than the galbanum, and than the moss and so the ginger. I can't detect any of the other notes. I also think this is a very mature fragrance, and unisex, and I think it fits perfect for layerings. In it's class I give it solid 9 out of 10 points. And, I can only recommand it for lavender and galbanum lovers :))

The summer heat has arrived too early and with a vengeance - 3 days of well over 100 degrees starting today with no real cool down in sight. This is a definite sign of global warming - this kind of weather, if it happened at all, used to come in late August/early September. The heat has just amplified my pleasure in wearing this perfume!! It is crisp but deep, it lasts on my skin and clothing. I love catching whiffs of it from time to time during the day. For once I prefer the remake over the original - which was, on me, mostly nothing. A wonderful rebirth!!

I love it! To me it smells very dynamic, at the same time it is warm and a bit flirty. I would say it is a typical Aries Zodiac sign perfume, good for someone who likes to be on the go and leave a strong but warm impression. Idk about the vintage version, but the new bottle (the intensely blue one like in the main image) is really fine. To me the main accent feels lavender and chamomile, which are nicely matching, and the aldehyde gives those a fresh and strong kick!

This is the only perfume in my collection that I can associate with a color from the start... blue! Deep blue like the bottle... like the blue hour with infinite sky above!

What an interesting perfume! The initial blast it very herby and woodsy, like you are in a northern forest in early autumn, with plenty of deciduous trees and moss, as well as cedar and fir. After about 4 minutes, it changes completely, into a scent of water. In particular, running water. You have come across a stream with a small waterfall, hence the "blue". I'm not sure at all how the designers made this smell like running water, but that's the vibe I get. Once it dries further, it turns more traditionally feminine, and soapy. Now you're bathing in the little stream, and maybe washing your clothes as well. This one is very different from anything else I've smelled. The opening is reminiscent of Giorgio Red without the sandalwoody vibe. The middle smells like nothing else I know. The full dry down is Dove soap.

This is a bit of a weird one - I get more green than blue from it. I definitely get the aldehydes, it has a soapy, detergent like vibe, but with springtime fields of flowers - more stems than foral blooms. It definitely does not feel modern - I'd guess its from the 70s when green scents were the rage. it doesn't feel male or female - its just a 'smell'. Maybe drawer lines mixed with detergent? It sounds like I don't like it but I do, its just peculiar to me. Some of the comments on here are its too light - thankfully, I couldn't imagine this fragrance in beast mode!

This is a blind buy, the price tag was so inviting so after reading some reviews and the composition, I gave it a go. Definitely this little number has an eighties’ vibe given by the aldehydes, galbanum and the oakmoss It has pungent herbal notes after the first 10 minutes, when the patchouli kicks in, layered with lavender and chamomile. Very well balanced but to me it smells like many others generic perfumes around in the 80’s and probably my expectations were too high. Longevity 5/10, sillage 6/10

First review! Blimey. This made me think wisteria. There is none according to the notes but that was my first impression. It does smell blue, and slightly powdery but as it dries down it develops a spicieeand more masculine feel. It is reminiscent of old (as in 80's, not dried up and bad) shaving foam. I'm not 100% sure when I would reach for this but it is growing on me. I'd like it with a shirt and wide legged tailored pants, I can imagine if 1930's trouser wearing women had a scent, this could be it. It's blurring gender and brings to mind simpler times before syrup poured as perfume. ETA... I bought the dinky 30ml and it is way cuter than the picture suggests, the picture makes it look slightly cheap.

It is just great! I feel lucky to come across this perfume. It is herby and mossy and as the users before me said, it is absolutely blue in colour. I am sure that it will be great in lazy summer day with iced drink. I have small and very cute bottle of 30 ml, but will try to find and obtain a bigger bottle. I am absolutely excited about this one.

Initial thought- Travel fragrance. That’s what I call perfumes that live in my washbag. They work for every occasion and don’t offend anybody, i.e. they are perfectly suitable for business trips and weekend breaks alike. You can’t go wrong with it, but you (in this case ‘I’) can move on when the bottle is finished without shedding a tear.

Could be a more worthy scent if it was at all noticeable. It is so faint that I wonder if my purchase is fake. The potential is there, but not in my bottle...
