Iris Tuberose

Creed Iris Tuberose, Final Assetment (Feb 3, 2025) I venture in this realm for a big while. As of now, from my nose this leans (slight) salty vanilla with Green Tuberose. As lily is an imaginary interpretation of Tuberose Absolute + Vanilla. One property I find is unique to Creed - Iris Tuberose is aldehydic property. That provide crisp crystalline feeling. Before dry down to lite tuberose-lily. Very ozonic and radiance in lite cologne manner. I find this stay on skin for really long with soft projection. This in line with "Guerlain - Joyuse Tubereuse" but that go heavier on vanilla. Nonetheless, it is beautiful creed fragrance. It always feel rich. ==== Review (September 4, 2024 - Old Package) I pass though few Tuberose fragrance. I think there is 2 type of tuberose, the one that replica and the one that use natural. In this, Creed Iris Tuberose Edt using natural as it evidence in the soft rubbery tone. That it is always in-tract with the floral sweetness. Iris Tuberose is floral fragrance working in Cologne manner. Smells like Tuberosa from Santa Maria Novella from 90's. By the way it decorate around natural material and let it shine. Still, Creed makes it slight more regal, upper-class. There is soft luxury musk cover the scent. Not so clear message, still Clean / Uplift / Reserve / Uncanny. Creed Iris Tuberose is an ok fragrance for me. ===== First Impression I think Creed Iris Tuberose is an unlock chain for my unactualized thought in White floral fragrance. To be honest, I you dig in realm of White floral. It is sometime, hard to distinguish between Tuberose and other white floral. even it had it own identity but tuberose, so often use to manipulate other white floral fragrance to create another scent therefore, it is so easily drown into the sea of white flower fragrance. This reminds me that Tuberose; had charm of it owns. The sharpness with little sweeten tone of Tuberose, is the reason why Tuberose is not Jasmine or Gardenia. It is also has green undertone, which not find in other type of White floral fragrance. This is very fresh tuberose and would work wonderfully in realm Tuberose dominant fragrance. My quest of Tuberose fragrance ends here With this, Diptyque Doson and JML tuberose extrait. (Note to myself, Gardenia in the other hands, doesn’t have a green edge - a little powdery and had slight vintage/nostagia feel to it. If tuberose is vivid white, Gardenia is muted cream white.)

This was the fragrance that brought me into 🎶a whole new world🎶 of perfumery. In 2015 I read in Vogue that iris scents were trending, specifically mentioned was Prada’s Infusion d’iris. I swung by Nordstrom’s, and it turns out I don’t like much iris, but I did discover Iris Tubereuse and loved it. I bought a bottle, but when I wore it, it didn’t seem to fit with me. My partner said it smelled like incense and I realized that it’s because there’s a ylang ylang note (not listed here on Fragrantica) that I was still learning to love. So I sold my bottle. Now, eight years later, I’ve purchased another bottle. Somewhere in my fragrance journey, someone sent me a sample of this and I used it last summer and realized I’d been wearing Iris Tubereuse during the wrong season! It dried down to surprisingly sexy, smooth, narcotic tuberose in summer heat and humidity. I could even detect sunscreen in it (maybe that’s vanilla’s influence). It also plays well in spring with the galbanum & violet, but personally I love it for the summer. It’s absolute love. Longevity is stellar. I can’t wait to wear it all summer.

A very green white floral, if this makes any sense ! Smells like fresh cut grass , tuberose and orange blossom ! A dewy morning, cool, humid, tropical , when the buds of the white flowers have not yet fully opened. The Iris is sheer, lacking the typical carrot flavor, appearing in the cool powdery aura. The blossoming garden here is young, fresh, and very chic. Super refreshing and elegant, this is a cold perfume that radiates pure class! Wonderful, and the first Creed that I can wear and love , not just respect. Granted most Creed perfumes demand respect simply because the quality is obvious, but not all are loveable,at least in my case, usually smelling dated on me. This one is different, a true gem! Makes me think of Colombian emeralds for some reason, I love it ! by the way, the lasting power and silage are superb too!

At first spray and sniff, this smells like Newport cigarette smoke and juice from a plant stem that’s been freshly cut. After about an hour, this blooms into a complex, waxy, clean, powdery, creamy, green white floral, and it continues to transform and project over time. It smells like an actual flower. Not sure how they did it, but there’s nothing “artificial” smelling here. It’s not linear at all and smells very expensive. Not a mainstream scent or a safe blind buy because it may take time for this to fully bloom on certain body chemistries. Perhaps someone that gravitates to carrot seed or bees wax scents may really enjoy this one. If you like Prada La Femme, this is a more complex version of that scent profile, in my opinion.

I am trying this again after storing a decant sample for over a year. I keep notes on my samples. I liked this quite well when I first acquired it, and I still like it now. I love all the notes and accords listed above. If only it had some aldehydes over top... that would send me. Having said this, I get a similar-enough fragrance experience from my travel spray of Diptyque Do Son EDP, which I prefer to Creed Iris Tuberose. I like a sweet note that's not heavy handed, and the Creed one has just a hint of a sweet note at the base. But what is the sweet note? Yaaaaawn... it's vanilla. I'm getting real bored of vanilla. So if I run out of the Do Son EDP travel spray, I believe I'll buy a bottle of that one and not the Creed. 🦋🧡🦋

A beautiful dewy garden on a spring morning, the smell of greens and tender yellows in the air: galbanum, lily of the valley, violet leaf. The sun peaks out from the dappled morning shade and tuberoses and casablanca lilies start to release their white musky perfume. Proper young 20-something ladies start to enter the garden for morning tea hosted by a warm friend. Starchy ankle length pants, face powder, crisp linen, perfect ponytails and sunny smiles. And the smiles get bigger when they bite into petite madeleines flavored with orange blossoms, delicately spiced with woody vanilla. The scene is animated and blissfully cheerful as fine bone china teacups clink into the afternoon.

On a test strip, this goes wonky. My daughter said it smelled like old cigarettes and Zest soap. I thought it smelled like that AND Queen Anne's Lace weed stems that I used to pick for my mom as a kid. That would be the galbanum. But...but but but...on skin?? A masterpiece of tuberose with a hint of iris. Truly gorgeous. It instantly transforms from that very green bitter weedy smell to a beautiful sweet floral gem. It is, however, quite similar to Diptyque Do Son...closer to the EDP than the EDT...which I already own, otherwise I would be buying a full bottle. Longevity was mid. 3-4 hours but I could still smell it on my skin at hour 6 if I got close.

Creed’s Iris Tubereuse has a tuberose note that is similar to the way the tuberose smells in Frederic Malle’s Carnal Flower. It is has that earthy menthol quality to it making it smell like they have captured the pure essence of the flower. Much like everyone else I too do not smell the lily, but rather the powdery green violet leaves. I do get a hint of orange and there is something soapy/clean smelling which could very well be the lily or lily of the valley. I found this for such a smoking hot deal that it would have been a crime to pass it up, so I am glad that I got it because this will be absolutely perfect for the spring!

Fresh, refreshing, green violets , sweetened by tuberose and vanilla. This isn't my typical scent but I quite love it. , very attractive , flowery green sweet and natural smelling. I would wear this gladly in the summer if I had a bottle. Simply Devine for a violet lover , even if you are not a fan of tuberose , the other notes are so pretty around it that the tuberose compliments this scent and makes it sweet and a little gourmand ( due to the Orange , musk and vanilla paired with tuberose - sweet an yummy) in the drydown. I love it !

A beautiful tuberose fragrance that smells better and better as the temperature rises. I love the journey it takes me... Iris Tubereuse starts with bitter galbanum, turns to a cold austere floral, then slowly changes yet again, this time into a creamy - leathery scent with tuberose always present; green, ethereal, sensual, very unusual perfume. Really long lasting, I get compliments every time I wear it, so others must like it too.

I LOVE this! I usually fall for darker and deeper perfumes, even perfumes created for men (Micallef Emir, Miller Harris La Fumee, Majda Bekkali Fusion Sacree pour Lui, to name a few) but this is one of the loveliest floral perfumes my nose have ever had honour to smell. And this perfume loves me back - it lasts more than 12 hours on me! Pricey - yes, but I believe it's worth it. :-)

This is a bright, clear tuberose signing along with her dear friend iris. A wonderful blend, switching between the two distinctly depending on the moment. Long lasting on my skin and warming to comforting ambered finish. A mid-day test spray lasted late into the night! Saving up for this one, it’s $$$$$

This is a beautiful tuberose scent not overly creamy like Do Son and not overly camphoric like Carnal Flower, very well blended and definitely underrated with good longevity as well. This should be relaunched into the classic Creed collection.

Oh my... this is just gorgeous. Sprayed on a card in store and left the card on my desk whilst I was working all day - the scent filled the room - I was so amazed! Can't wait to buy it, such an expensive and 'classy' fresh smelling fragrance.

Swapped Michael Kors signature for this, and it is SO superior. MK is a rather crude tuberose - this is top of the line elegance and sophistication!

Does anyone recognise Anais Anais by Cacharel in this? To me it's a more "sophisticated " version of an old masterpiece. Really enjoy my sample.

Definitely a spring time perfume this one, perhaps it might also work in hotter weather though I am unsure and not had chance to try that yet. But everything about this sings springtime to me - the crystal clear nature of it, the cool and clean atmosphere, the transparency and crispness of it; all combine to create a feeling like when the sun reappears and the clouds drift away after an April shower, the sky is blue again, the weak sun shining white light, and the water droplets glistening on the tips of leaves and blades of grass. In the opening minutes the violet leaf and galbanum dominate, creating a fresh grassy and very green start to this scent. There is no real bitterness here though, and not even really much of a sharpness instead it feels quite cold and smooth, the green of new grass shoots rather than a darker more bitter leafy green. As the galbanum beings to settle a non-powdery iris note begins to develop, which in conjunction with the violet leaf briefly creates a slightly sweet violet note. I was initially concerned that as this is a "cool/cold" scent that the iris might tend towards the harsher, sweatier and sharper version of itself which I do not especially enjoy, and admittedly when I first tried this in the depths of winter it did develop a degree of sharpness in the heart and early drydown that didn't appeal to me. However after trying it under different conditions such as cold weather, wet weather etc, it appears that this less pleasant note is only apparent during cold winter months with the central heating on. In the spring time it fortunately seems to steer clear of this. The tuberose in this is a fairly quiet and well behaved example, without any of the brashness it can have. It is not at all overpowering and in fact sits well with the other notes, not dominating but definitely there. Perhaps it is tempered by the soft clean muguet that shows up in the heart of this perfume. In the later stages a musky note develops, which like the iris mentioned before can tend towards a slightly harsher sweatier musk when worn in less suitable climatic conditions. However in spring weather it seems to avoid this once again. Altogether this is a pleasant and wearable scent. Possibly suitable for the office as it is unobtrusive, sits pretty close to the skin and tends to behave well. Sillage is quite discreet I believe, longevity for me is moderate, around 6 hours. I don't love it but I do like it.

"Florals? For Spring? Groundbreaking." This fragrance is a very light, airy and pretty fragrance that's obviously both floral and old-fashioned, perfect for the old-fashioned and intensely feminine woman who is a romantic at heart. There's something somewhat vintage about this perfume and I could imagine someone like Kate Winslet as Rose in the movie "The Titanic" wearing this, replete with her big hat, parasol and Edwardian S-sillhouette dress. Being such a romantic fragrance, I could understand how Jack would fall in love with her. I can't really smell the orange blossom that everyone else in this review section is smelling and this doesn't really smell like tuberose to me. It isn't as animalic to my nose and I don't really smell too many indoles. I also only catch a very small whiff of its heady and intoxicating flesh-like smell. If there is any reminiscence to tuberose in this perfume, it's tuberose done for people who hate tuberose. With the combination of the lily and the tuberose, it makes these two notes combine and smell like a non-indolic jasmine to me. The violet leaf, galbanum and musk also make up an impression of iris to me, like an impressionistic painting, which I guess also contributes to me thinking of this perfume smelling like something from the Edwardian period. There is a slight bitterness from the galbanum, too. And lastly, the lily-of-the-valley adds some green freshness to the perfume as well and makes this a fairly green and fresh white floral, iris, lily-of-the-valley and jasmine combo that has hints of powderiness, like a moth rubbing their wings against these flowers while pollinating them. Sillage was moderate, being almost intimate. The longevity of the fragrance was somewhat long-lasting surprisingly though, with it lasting up to 8 1⁄2 hours on my skin. I could imagine a certain sort of woman in her 30's to 40's in a beige or pastel tweed suit and pearls wearing this perfume to events during the day, like to galas, to bridal showers, to fancy lunches and brunches with friends, to baby showers, to work, to charities and to grand openings of new venues where she cuts the ribbon. I could imagine this woman being British too. Slightly stuffy for my tastes and it's kind of lacking some "oomph" for me. I'm also not really a fan of the iris note and I think it makes it smell old-fashioned and slightly staid. Not bad though. It is nice for the right type of person. 7/10 for me.

This is the absolute lightest Tubereuse I ever had tried. Skinclose, fresh and soft, But very nice. Transparant, airy, light, - but there around you almost like a ghost - its there - its gone, next moment its there and gone again and then you take a deep breath and you can smell a beautiful Tubereuse. This is a true come-and-hug-me-scent. Stays on my skin and clothes for many hours - but everytime I think it had fade away - it shows up again.. A true ghost and I love those sneaky scents. Detta är den absolut lättaste Tuberosen jag har provat, någonsin. Hudnära, fräsch och mjuk. Men väldigt trevlig. Transparant, luftig, lätt - men ändå här runt mig, nästan som ett spöke - den är där, borta, dyker upp igen, borta, och så tar man ett djupt andetag och så kittlar denna underbara Tuberosen i näsan igen. Varje gång jag trott att den bleknat bort så dyker den upp igen, som en retsam ande - jag älskar denna typen av smygande dofter.

Here we have a fruity heady tuberose refined by herbaceous galbanum and a mineral violet leaf - therefore the comment below referencing sunscreen, which I actually agree with. However, this perfume is so well balanced, in my opinion- no where does it tip into too much green or too mineral. The lily makes itself known by a slight mintiness I more typically associate with jasmine, but it’s very subtle. The vibe is of an old fashioned fragrance that’s sort of 70s; quite green and brimming with white flowers yet modernized — even to the point of a ‘beach’ scent, with the addition of the violet leaf. Ideal wearing situation would be on a breezy star filled exotic tropical night. What I’m missing is lasting power- it’s weak at about 3/4 hours in this cold and dry climate I’m currently in. Projection is within my personal space. Lovely scent.

Ozonic indeed! This is a fresh green tuberose with a watery quality that's akin to lotion/serum. I can't take full-on tuberose scents but this light version is very wearable especially during the drydown. I could also detect lily (with that tinge of soil), galbanum (green), and a combo of clean floral musk LLOV style. The opening is louder with forward tuberose + galbanum and the heart/drydown lean towards floral musk. The watery quality from violet leaves really makes it stand out. This is not for those that like their tuberose loud, sweet and bubblegummy, but if you like a fresh take on the flower and the floral musk category do try this darling out.

This is a wonderful, lighter take on Tuberose and Orange blossom. I like how the Lily breaks up the strength of the Tuberose and Orange blossom and makes it a day scent. I will say that the sales person at Saks said it was an evening scent and I was like "Really?". I then walked uptown to the Creed boutique store and the sales person also said that this was an evening scent. I would wear it day to night. It is not too heavy of a floral as the other notes - violet leaf, lily, musk, softens the intensity of the Tuberose/Orange blossom and you can wear it on the hottest of days in the steamy NYC subways and be just fine.

- Luxurious, green, heady, and buttery are words I would use to describe this fragrance. I smell a starchy iris here as well which reminds me of the one in Prada Infusion Iris. Intially this fragrance is intense but it quickly retreats to the skin. I imagine a very wealthy boss woman wears this fragrance. The galbanum is amazing in the fragrance. It's green and clearly present. Overall I'd say this fragrance is a pleasant long lasting skinscent which suits my taste. If you love galbanum, lilies, iris and tuberose then this fragrance is well worth sampling.

This is a beautifully bright scent, it has this airy clean essence that transports me to what I’d imagine would be an old money mansion with gardens. I’m not sure why that’s the first place I’m transported but this is an expensive smell to me. I get the orange blossom and lily straight out the gate, but then the musk is soft and falls softly onto the senses like a white petal on your doorstep. It has a fragility to it. Very feminine, I’d wear this to an equestrian event if I could or a sunlit stroll in the bright spring sunlight.

Frankly I bought this because I love tuberose and the reviews were positive about how wonderful a tuberose perfume this is. Also because most would hint or even verbosely state that no iris is present despite the name. So I thought, being one who doesn’t enjoy iris too much, this would be a safe buy. NOPE. There is iris present here and its not blended well enough to be enjoyed either. Though tuberose here is lovely as reviewed, the iris certainly make me enjoy it that much less. Still a like from me.

This is a lovely old-school iris fragrance- so I was very surprised to learn that it is only 2 years old, because it comes across as a contemporary with the venerable grande dames of perfumerie, such as L'Heure Bleue. It starts off a little starchy, prim and formal, with lots of green galbanum, then warms up into a beautiful soapy orange blossom. . ( how strange that iris isn't listed as a note here!) Reminds me of Acqua di Parma's Iris Nobile and La Chasse aux Papillons.

On me, it is green tuberose like carnal flower cute n sweet n creamy not as challenging as carnal...an airy tuber absolute circa 2018. Update 2025 no cream , dry green tuberose, no iris. I notice the same perfume can smell different on my skin, based on my diet. This may be the case, here.

Reminds me of a perfectly balanced version of Manceras Velvet Vanilla. It's obviously heavy on Tuberose, but it's a lot less sweet and the extra white florals add a good touch to it. Leans feminin. Projection and longevity are quite good. If you liked Manceras Velvet Vanilla but though of it as too sweet, then you'll love this.

This fragrance is for tuberose lovers. I do not understand the name of this perfume. Strong, feminine, it is a floral scent. I can smell tuberose, white flowers and musk. 7/10

This is very nice. Starts with a green tuberose with a waxy feel to it. Later, it gets sweet and a bit musky. It’s a good scent for summer if you like creamy white florals.

This starts out as a very green, fresh tuberose, similar to Tocca Florence. But after the dry down, instead of a slightly bubblegummy tuberose like Tocca, it becomes light, vaguely floral, skin scent with a touch of musk. I wish the fragrance I smell in the beginning was at least somewhat present later on, but that's just not happening on me. Sad, because this had great potential. For the price, in my opinion, there are way better tuberoses out there.

Iris Tuberose by Creed is a beautifully airy fragrance that offers a fresh and crystalline take on tuberose. It emanates a light, intimate, and clean scent that lingers close to the skin. The fragrance exudes a high-quality aura, undeniably reminiscent of a premium product.

Very crisp, so clean almost soapy. Lasts forever on the skin. Strong, sort of blinding, floral.

Woah, not for me. I bought a 10mL sample to see what the fuss was about for an expensive perfume brand. I usually love white floral perfumes. This might be the first that I don't. That galbanum hits strong in the opening, very vintage and aged woman in old dusty library vibe. Thankfully the opening disappears after a few minutes. What remains is a very strong linear tuberose. Very creamy, VERY sweet. Not much else going on. If you love tuberose and linear perfumes this is for you. Personally, I like some olfactory layers that work together and can be distinguished individually. I only sprayed this twice and it was very heady. Definitely not an airy spring fragrance. Such a shame, and yet probably good for my wallet that I don't like it!

I wanted to love this, I really did. On paper it was everything I am looking for in my mission to find a great tuberose fragrance. Sadly, it just hasn't delivered for me. Barely an hour after application and it's almost disappeared from my skin, having opened very powerfully and with such promise. All I can smell now is the occasional waft of newly shampooed car upholstery on a hot day, which makes me feel rather nauseous to the point where I may have to go and wash it off. I'll definitely be sticking with my current joint winners: Carnal Flower or Hiram Green's Moon Bloom.

Synthetic sun tan lotion smell. The drydown is not that bad though. I was looking for a summer floral scent and it clearly won't be this one. Second creed I tried after aventus and I am afraid I will stop here my exploration of that brand

No iris, which I'm a bit confused about! It's soapy and powdery. If I didn't know better I'd think this was one of those granny scents you get in pharmacies. Sweet and cloying.

I LOVE this! I am using up a nice sample now & cannot believe this escaped me for so many years! I just bought a 3.4 oz online. Beautiful. I think the person that smelled feces perhaps had dirty hands, or a fake. This smells more like EL Tuberose Gardenia to me, than any above (reminds me of) that I have smelled. I adore Tuberose perfumes, especially when they are this watery & light. A bit more realistic to my nose than the Estee Lauder one & also a touch aquatic. I am in love! *IF* you adore Tuberose, there is nothing about this one that is going to smell bad to you. I would even say a safe blind buy!

Opens with classical, elegant, and soapy florals that bring to mind perfumes from my mom's collection circa 80s. The floral combination of iris and tuberose and the interpretation of tuberose are all new to me. It dries down to a sweet, creamy—lactonic, even—tuberose-forward scent that is also, strangely enough, reminiscent of bubblegum/chinese milk candy? With every whiff I get, this association only gets stronger, and I also start to feel a sense of nausea creeping in—even more so if I put my nose close to my skin. From a safe distance, it performs like a faint bubblegum cloud.

If you're looking for a restrained tuberose Diptyque's Do Son has much more to offer, in my opinion anyway. I don't really see the point of cooling down tuberose with iris and galbanum if you're then going to have this sun tan oil floral holiday mood. I think it's wearable, and if you like buttery tuberose this would suit for a lighter daytime perfume, but something like Do Son is far more elegant, or maybe Acqua di Parma's Gelsomino Nobile which seems more about tuberose than jasmine to me, and has some uplifting citrus notes too.

I really am enjoying my sample, at first it is a green young tuberose scent, crisp, fresh, I definitely think spring and summer when smelling it!! It is lovely..then the floral notes appear, it is a nice smooth medley, with the orange blossom warming up the scent, I really like that phase , then it seems to go a bit warmer, and sweeter..on my skin the drydown is so nice, soft and warm...I will definitely purchase this next spring, this is a beautiful airy creation, feminine, and maybe the price will go down!!

I discover a natural and real tuberose scent for so long, Do Son is one of my favorite but this one! Oh my god! I have to say this one is the most realistic tuberose that I have tried before. I’m not fall in love at the top note because it remind me to Carnal Flower but the heart note is my EVERYTHING!!!! the sillage and longevity are not too long, but I would take my money all of my money to buy this beautiful one! The real tuberose is in your hand! Falling in love so deep with Iris Tubereuse.

Wow a powerhouse fragrance that will overpower any perfume out there. This is powerful juice, unfortunately not my favorite. this reminds me of an old school perfume my aunt used to wear, she was a heavy smoker but you couldn't tell if the smoke was coming from her perfume or from smoking. It start with a super powdery, smokey iris with hints of the top notes, then slowly lightens up revealing the tuberose. It slowly lightens up and becomes very classic creed amber, musk, sweet woody base.

Wow indeed! I was looking for a summer fragrance and this is it!! I love Creed and wear Royal Oud but wanted something a little more fun and flirtatious for the holidays with a heavy smattering of tuberose but without the 'cheap' tone. I love this. It's deliciously floral but without nasty synthetic edges and it is also quite sly! I don't know what makes me say that, but it's the only word that fits. Summery, vivacious and sparkly but with claws. Fabulous.

The original notes are the following: Top Notes: Violet Leaves, Galbanum, Orange; Heart Notes: Lily, Lily-of-The-Valley, Tuberose; Base Notes: Orange Blossom, Musk, Vanilla. I wish someone could fix the page again with the original notes listed as I wanted to do a review of this fragrance and wanted to use a screenshot with the icons.

Wonderful tuberose scent... I got NO iris whatsoever, and by the looks of things, there may very well be none in this. A straightforward white floral with bits of woods and green in the background which help round it out. Lovers of tuberose will love this, without a doubt. There are no unexpected surprises here with the makeup up the scent. Lovely!

Is it unreasonable to expect a fragrance called 'Iris Tuberose' to have any iris in it? I was pretty disappointed by this bland floral that seems to have more orange blossom in it than anything else. None of either the powdery or the cool or the carroty irises that other perfumes have. It doesn't last long, either. If you're an iris lover, avoid.

If you love tuberose, this would be a fantastic choice. Very high quality and luxurious with excellent longevity. I dont get the iris but rather a blend of white florals on slightly sweet base. Unisex for sure.
