The Game Intense

I got a free sample of this and another edp handed to me in House of Fraser (one for women and one for men)and even tho it is for men I thought what the heck i'll spray it on myself. Lol. I was pleasantly surprised as it is really nice and TBH a female could easily wear this and it is sooooo long lasting also. It has a fruity/flowery fragrance but with a lovely zap of musk and as it dries down has a slightly uplifting smell. I have smelt this smell before in a females brand perfume but for the life of me cannot remember which (I have so many I love my perfumes Lol)it is more of an evening fragrance although you could wear it during the day. It would definitely make you feel good on a cold, damp, dreary day. I could still smell the perfume the next day (about 20hrs later) quite a lot also.

A girl friend of mine purchased this for me for my birthday, an I'm impressed with this fragrance. It's starts out kind of harsh an sweet , but drys down to a smooth soothing aura She couldn't stop smelling my neck. Dark and ethereal iris - pleasantly counterbalanced by a smooth juniper/gin -over velvet spices, a hint of cherry coke carried on a breeze. Silky smooth and elegant, intense is much more mature and sophisticated than the original.

I m just coming from a cosmetics store n there I sprayed it on my clothes...Oh my God...this is unbelievably awsome...its such a different fragrance from others...I m surely gonna buy it n bring it to mu collection

Why this version discontinued! very nice smell and very strong performance. Pure and elegant wood. Love ❤️

Best Davidoff in a very long time, plesant smell i get whiffs of a powdry drydown, i like it a lot.

Davidoff the game intense is too good to be true...

I have this and think it's excellent. It starts off with a voluptuous fruity/woody blast...sort of blackcurrant with woods (in a balsamic tradition) and reminds me a bit of the general character of DK Fuel for Men. Patchouli and spices follow. I do not find it 'sweet' as others have mentioned here. I have no idea what 'blackwood' is in the listings and have never come across it before... but I strongly suspect it's fictitious and made up by the Davidoff marketing team. A nice intriguing, arty bottle too. A good release.

When I first tried it, I hated it... It was super sweet and sticky but when it developped after roughly 1 hour, the sweetness subdued and a new and totally bizzarre aroma rose! I think it's the blackwood... New to me! Anyway... This is a real gem for sweet perfumes lovers and a great alternative to the everpopular 1 million, 212 VIP men and the 10000 others that smells the same! While this is in the same boat as the others, it set itself apart by being unique in it's composition. Good work davidoff!

A bit stronger at the beginning but after 20-30 minutes it changes into a decent woody frag. I have to mention that at first i disliked it.... my bad, but when i used it after a month or 2 it was like one of the best woody scent under my nose and i didn't realize what it was. Longevity is OK but sillage is weak (not as i was expecting) i wish Davidoff should launch it's EDP version. Fragrance: 9/10 Longevity: 5/10 Sillage: 5/10

Used this to get married in. The marriage lasted two years. The fragrance somewhat more. I can't wear it now because it acts as a Pavlovian trigger. The fragrance itself is a great performer on me. Super silage and projection, excellent longevity. The smell invokes an image of sitting on top of a haystack in high summer then opening a cold bottle of Coke. Masculine, dry. Sweeter at start.

I don't own this yet, but it may well be my next purchase. Tried it at the recommendation of a shop assistant, and 8 hours later, including after a swim and shower, I can still smell it. And can't stop smelling it! To me it now smells somewhat of vanilla, with a hint of pepper and smoke.

This is a great everyday scent for guys who want something a little more intense than the original Davidoff The Game. I get lots of compliments on it. The patchouli and woodiness are really noticeable but not overpowering.

Very masculine i like it and get lot of compliment specially for someone who smoke cigarette very deep dark last 7 hours on skin and good for winter night outdoor

Scent 8/10 Longevity 8/10 Projection 7/10 I get noticed, It garners compliments My nice dark scent with decent enough performance.

Update. Ladies love this so much. Soooo much. Wear this for close encounter with lady. You won't regret

Great fragance. Smells like if you walk into a gallery with recently carved ebony sculptures. 8/10

a wife gift got in 2014, it smells powdery because of Iris, I had nice memories with this perfume.
