Flower Show

This gorgeous clone of a real life flower shop merits the word "amazing," because how did they put every flower together in one scent without making a mess? It's so so very pretty. It's so so true to life. Fresh, crisp, joyous. Never cloying or overwhelming. Light and airy and green as much as it is floral - - not just petals, but leaves, stems and water, too. Layer it or wear it with a friend who is wearing Demeter's Earthworm or Dirt. These 3 are perfect for springtime, but also, if you're having a bout of winter blues, just pull these out and instantly give yourself some sunshine.

this is the floral fridge at the florist and green stems. I LOVE THIS. I have the 3.4 oz huge bottle, the 1 ounce bottle and a few of the 1/2 oz small purse bottles, hahaha. i always have bought direct from the website, no leaks, no issues. i put this on after every shower. it makes me feel like i have showered at an outside shower. i feel so freshhhhh and clean, ahhhhh, there is nothing powdery, nor sweet, which is exactly why i like it. sometimes i add Demeters Beeswax over it, if I want just the right amount of wildflower smell. I just wish Demeter frags lasted longer!

This is an absolute love for me! It smells exactly like the floral refrigerator I used to work in. It doesn't smell like a solitary note but bouquets of flowers and it smells like refrigerated flowers and cold vase water. It's seriously sooooooo beautiful. The one thing I have noticed is demeter has lovely perfumes but the bottles leak. If you buy them off fragrancex they get shipped on their side they leak even if lid is screwed on all the way. Ive purchased multiple bottles of different scents and they all had the same thing happen.

This is my current favorite! It smells like a fresh green flower garden or flower shop. I can not get enough of it. No matter how much you spray, it's never too overwhelming, no headaches, it's THE Perfect Floral Scent!

I couldn't agree more on the review of @abigailtorres632. It doesn't smell like a garden. It smells exactly like diferente types of flowers that have been soaking in a vase of water for at least 3 days. The name is very accurate. I enjoy it very much, but I don't think is a safe blind buy by any means. Not all the people enjoy that smell of the flowers and especially the water in which they've been for a few days. In me the sillage is soft and it lingers for no more than 3 hours. As much as I enjoy it, given the poor performance, It's not a love for me. It's a strong like though.

I bought this because I was looking for a scent that smelled like a florist — not an actual flower. This gets me pretty close. It is crushed stems and water. Really appealing if you’re looking for a “florist” type of scent.

The first day that I tried this I thought it smelled exactly like Perfumer's Workshop Tea Rose. However, I've worn it a few times since then, and I've realized that while the scent does include rose it is more complex than that. I've begun to enjoy it quite a lot.

Smells like alcohol but I do get the florist vibe too. But mainly just alcohol which ruined it for me. Can someone recommend me a similar perfume without any alcohol stench?

I bought this along with about 10 other Demeter florals and teas and it's such a boom of flowers on first smell that I wasn't sure if it was too much... and today I've finally put it on and I'm really intoxicated with it, it's full floral show, or walking in a greenhouse full of flowers, or a florist, absolutely nothing chemical or stuffy about it. It's not a "floral perfume", it's actual flowers. Not too sweet and not too bitter. Demeter's lightness and transience work in favour of this one, it's intense in the bottle and gentle but beautifully poignant on the skin. It's wafting up from my t-shirt a few hours later and has not lost anything, it's now like standing a metre away from the flower hall. Gucci and Dior and etc had sworn me off florals until I discovered Demeter, real flowers smell lovely, perfume smells like perfume, and then there's weirdos like Diptyque. They've made some cool herby interesting versions that are a kind of antitheses of Gucci gross, but I find most of them too interesting and bitter to wear. I'm not sure Demeter's Flower Show is a safe everywhere perfume, it's not a "she's wearing perfume" perfume, I think people would actually be looking around the room for the bunch of flowers, but it's very distinct and beautiful and I think it would get noticed. I'll try it socially before seeing if it would be ok to wear to work. In closing Demeter is the total bomb! This is so great! Edit: I've just come back to say that I take back what I said about Diptyque. They can make as many French elitist diamond grunge inaccessible bitter catwalk as they like, because- OYEDO. I should review Diptyques on the actual Diptyques. But they're like the sophisticated hautey guy at Musee De Orse, I feel like I'd have to give it some thought and vocabulary. And spelling for that matter. Haha fragrantica is a fun time.

I've fallen in love with Demeter's Flower Show. It is a photorealistic fragrance of rose stems, leaves and all, soaking in the cool water of a vase after three days or more. It is beautiful to my tastes, refreshing and calming. I adore it! Choose your favorite photorealistic rose soliflore to layer - I like Soliflore Rose De Mai by Dame Perfumery because the piercing sprite of the rose pairs beautifully with the cool refreshing wateriness of Demeter's Flower Show - but I, most of the time, love it on its own.

Demeter is known for their single note wonders, but this has quite the variety of flowers packed into it. To my nose I smell lilacs, roses, carnations, daisies and violets maybe? If you enjoy a light mix of flowers (there is a slight greeny note, but it's not prominant) keep in mind that Demeter is not known for longevity, but this is worth having if you're a fan of any of the flowers that I listed. This is a solid like!

It does smell like a flower shop, and you can definitely pick up the gardenia. This is awesome for layering! On its own, it's a bit ....generic.
