Niche fragrance house Di Ser uses only high-quality naturals distilled by a single man in Japan. Even the most respected fragrances today use some synthetics to give shape, longevity, affordability, and so on—but not Di Ser. The benefit of this practice is noticeable in Akanesasu, an orangey vetiver floral fragrance. On the downside, the florals fade quickly, and the projection and longevity are poor. However, the payoff is significant. The fragrance smells pure and fresh, like something you would smell in nature. It is multi-faceted, despite its simple ingredients (bergamot, vetiver, and jasmine), and there is none of the fuzzy, artificial screech that all chemicals have. It’s so smooth. One of the best citruses. Opening is very natural oranges with the peel. It comes together with a hint of jasmine that makes the orange a bit tropical and happy. The vetiver is fresh and clean. It comes out more and more as the fragrance dries down. Very inspiring fragrance. I get the minimalism and the naturalism, in fact these aspects makes this to one of the best citruses I have tried. The performance is good enough for me. Im not a person judging the fragrances because of so called «poor» performance. I dont like big projections and I like the ritual of reapplying. The important thing is how a fragrance make me feel, and Akanesasu makes me feel great.

Bright and sunny , lively and happy. On a foggy day it is like the sun is shining outside and I feel lively smelling orangeblosom and jasmin in spring, a floral breeze is cheering me up as I was ouside enjoying a sunny morning. It opens with citrus notes of bergamot and orange and later appears the vetiver adding depth to this composition. Again, another beauty of Di Ser!

Natural smelling jasmine at its full glory.Well blended with other ingredients like oranges and vetiver.Easy going and easy to wear.Longevity is moderate as its natural and may need to respray after some time.All the di ser fragrances are Zen mode fragrances it helps to relax the wearer.Very uplifting for sure.

A simple natural and stunning floral fruity fragrance, this is yet another winner from this Japanese natural perfumery house. Containing only 3 other notes that surround a beautiful natural jasmine sambac enfleurage (bergamot, orange and vetiver), this perfume whose name is meant to evoke the vividness of the sun rays during setting is serene, meditative, and transposing. Beautifully blended with moderate sillage and projection and good longevity, this is modern natural perfumery of stunning simplicity. Enjoy!

This smells like eating candied orange peel in the warm sunlight, with jasmine flowers blooming nearby.The vetiver and bergamot blend seamlessly. All of the notes dance in a very pleasant and joyful manner. I was not expecting to enjoy this as much as I do, but I absolutely need to upgrade from a sample to a bottle.

Nice natural bright fragrance but nothing out of the ordinary here, you’ve probably smelled many woody citrus scents like this before. Although admittedly there is an edge to the vetiver in here adding a hay like touch and the citrus smells freshly squeezed. Good, but not unique enough for a full bottle imho.

The vetiver is more green than rooty; it's a bright & juicy fragrance surrounding jasmine sambac.

An uplifting natural scent only Di Ser can do. For the first hour it's a blast of orange and jasmine that comes off as squeeky floral and feminine. Once it gets past that stage around the 1 hour mark, the jasmine is heavily toned down and the vetiver comes in, but the orange stays. So that's what you're left with. Very natural smelling orange with a clean and fresh vetiver. But so clean and refined. Nothing soapy or aquatic. Just clean. And my god the orange and vetiver combo smells wonderful. The type where you can't stop smelling your wrist. This house is truly something special. Are they the most complex scents? No, but the few notes they mix together is truly unique. You haven't smelled anything like it before. It's almost like Japanese Orange and Vetiver taste and smell different than we're used to. That's the feeling you sit with when you smell their scents.

Fresh, happy and full-of-life citrus greets the nose. Lime is quite a difficult ingredient to use, but here in Akanesasu it feels completely appropriate. It even radiates slight palo santo nuances. Yes, these fruits have enjoyed a wonderful climate and the energising warmth of sunshine. After several minutes, the sweetness of orange develops and subtle floral aroma appears. The lime disperses amongst its friends. The combination of lime, orange and jasmine is just divine. Vetiver is not immediately apparent, even after 15 minutes. I believe it is there adding balance, and it must be a super clean grade/distillation. It's clear that the quality of all the ingredients here (as with all Di Ser perfumes) is stunning and really makes a difference. The minimalism keeps things simple, whilst allowing you to enjoy all the complexity of the selected and well blended notes.

I liked this one -- citrus and white floral done REALLY well -- I saw the vetiver and almost DIDN'T try it out (not a fan AT ALL), but thus far, it's been kept in check. The citrus is JUICY and sweet and totally edible, and the white floral elements (seems like more than just jasmine, BTW) are in perfect harmony with the rest of the scent. Nothing much else going on, and that's not a problem, it's just a pretty straightforward scent done remarkably well. I can see a lot of people trying this out and buying it. Definitely worth a try!

Maybe one of the juiciest orange fragrances i've smelled that has a tart accent of lime. Di Ser's beautiful jasmine appears, meeting the bright citrusiness. After a couple hours the vetiver appears and it might be the cleanest vetiver i've ever smelled. Smooth, green, grassy, and eventually a little spicy. This is pure happiness in a bottle. A little ray of sunlight warming your face.

replicates the experience of peeling a fresh orange underneath some jasmine blossoms. quickly takes on a slight mineral quality, almost like these orange flavored vitamins i had as a kid. clean and ephemeral.

Summer Spring Scent: 7/10 Orange, orange, orange opening is all about orange. Gets a bit more vetiver in the dry down. Works well with a casual, summery look imo. Sillage 4/10 Longevity 3,5/10
