J'Adore Infinissime

Oh my, my, my! This is a genie in a bottle. Why is this fragrance not getting the attention it deserves? it is exquisite in every way! an all-around/ all-year long fragrance. Soft, classy, shinny! It is a masterpiece creation. I am not a fan of tuberose generally as I tend to find it very cloying, but when I read this mix of ingredients I got curious and boy I am glad I acquired this beauty! This is indeed a wonderful floral-oriental, it starts peppery and citrusy, the blood orange shines in the opening, soon after the flowers in particular the jasmine and tuberose take the lead (reminded me indeed of L'interdit as I read somewhere below). It gets so classy and creamy, if you like the initial spray wait until you get to the dry down. It is so wonderfully blended, not to sweet, not to floral, just enough of every note to make it a total aromatic pleasure. I love it! I can't t believe this is a J'adore flanker. The original J'adore I don't quite enjoy too much, too floral and the jasmine shines a bit too much if you ask me. But that is a personal choice as I recognize it is a matter of taste, I think it is still a wonderful perfume that deserves it's fame. Beautiful bottle as always and a master perfumer behind it. I think I maybe have this all year long in my collection and it may become one of my top 5. Good silage, not scandalous, great longevity. Sprayed in the evening and still could smell it on my hair and wrist the next morning. A must have if you love oriental florals.

Got a sample with another Dior purchase. For one glorious minute, on first spray this reminds me of a Yardley perfume that I used to wear and love in the late 70s early 80s called Laughter.......then all hell breaks lose!! I am sure Monsieur Demachy has taken the most popular perfumes that have been launched it the last 15 years and stuck them in the one bottle. Gucci Bloom, Givenchy L’interdit, Ralph Lauren Women, Tom Ford Neroli Portofino I can even detect some Amouage Sunshine because there is some white tobacco action going on somewhere.....there is also Flowerbomb, LVEB and Boss Orange. It’s an absolute mess, there is too much going on it’s like someone has walked out the front door of their house wearing a brightly coloured, flamboyant tank top and orange platform shoes from the 1970’s, teamed with a black padded shoulder jacket from the 80’s and a pair of ripped jeans from Primark that they bought last week and finished off with a psychedelic scarf from the 60’s and a Panama hat. The only thing that is missing is J’Adore. When it finally settles down, after about 30 minutes, on my skin, I was left with a very weak Coco Mademoiselle/ Black Opium combo that thankfully quickly faded and died. I cannot say I dislike it because there are so many fragrances in there that I love and it is certainly not a scrubber, it’s just that it’s as mad as a box of frogs.

This perfume is exquisite in my opinion. It does have a pretty strong vintage vibe, though done with a little bit of restraint as if it is a classic perfume with modern sensibilities. But I will say, those who say it smells “old”, “grandma-like”, “musty basement”... that’s the vintage aspect they are picking up on. So if that’s not something you enjoy, you probably won’t like this. If Mitsouko, Magie Noire, Cabochard, Cinema, Joy... if they bother you, then you will likely find a similarity in J’Adore Infinissime. But if you love that old Hollywood glamour scent in fragrances... give this one a try because it is gorgeous. And it’s like a modern version of a vintage perfume. I feel like I’m starting to beat a dead horse here, but I think that there are better, less insulting ways to describe a fragrance with these qualities. Vintage, yes. Retro, sure. Glamorous Hollywood vibes, go for it. But old lady, and grandma are terms that don’t belong in fragrance descriptions. Beyond that, I’d say the wear time is average... around 4-5 hours on me before becoming a skin scent. Projection/sillage are on the low moderate side. If you don’t like the original, this is still worth trying. It’s so far from what is typically available at the mainstream designer level. This and the 2023 L’or flanker are my favorites.

This starts with that fabulous "Tinker Bell" quality that I love so much, it sparkles similar to champagne the first moments after the spray and is heavenly as it dances above the skin (similar to my experience with J'Adore In Joy, only In Joy goes into more of a salty/marine - peach tea type ozonic chord). This perfume reminds me of some of the essence notes and the upper register of Dior's classic Poison, the original -- minus the darker deeper notes which fill out the lower register of Poison. I've worn Avon's Rare Pearls for over 9 years now - and that is not coming to mind as I smell this J'Adore. I love Rare Pearls, that is a great one to try. Infinissime has more of the original Poison woods vibe to it than Rare Pearls. This is working much better with my chemistry than the salty marine notes in J'Adore In Joy. Case in point, if you find that you can not wear one perfume in a line, don't give up -- Keep spritzing and sampling some of the others -- because if you like the initial DNA of one of these, there's a good chance that you may find a great match for your chemistry - if you continue to sample these.

Nectarous, ambery, smooth and sensual. I love Infinissime. It doesn't have the freshness of the original -- this is pure liquid petals with a golden aura. I get predominantly jasmine, but not by a huge lead. Tuberose next, and ylang ylang have very prevalent supporting roles. There is a hint of bubblegum, but not massive -- it leans more smooth and waxy, like a gorgeously luxurious candle. I find this so narcotic and relaxing and enjoy wearing at home by myself as it's not too overpowering or aggressively floral. It's like a beautiful veil of jasmine body oil with hints of smooth sandalwood and I daresay a bit of a coconut nuance. There is also a hint of green and a hint of earth to just barely counterbalance the honeyed florals. Glorious! If you like to indulge in smooth florals with a light to moderate Oriental base, this might be your next nectar.

The most modern and wearable J'Adore thus far. It smells nothing like the rest of the J'Adore range which is a positive in my book. That means Infinissime has none of the rest of the J'Adore range's proclivity for using the most pungent urine-smelling indolic white flowers Dior could find. This starts off with a deliciously creamy and honey-like scent. In the dry down, it turns into white flowers but like I said, it's not indolic at all. It smells earthy and nutty but not fecal or urine-like. It's also more subtle and reserved The best J'Adore so far for me. I can actually imagine Charlize Theron wearing this because she likes it and not because she is contractually obligated to. Also, because of these attributes I think this can be a unisex scent. Feminine leaning but unisex.

The original J’adore used to give me a headache — probably the aquatic-ozonic blast in the opening. It felt sharp, synthetic, and cold. But Infinissime? It’s an entirely different creature. The opening hits with a creamy, almost caramel-like sweetness, even though there’s no caramel listed. Then comes the white floral wave — tuberose, jasmine sambac, and ylang-ylang — blended so well it’s hard to tell where one ends and the other begins. It leans floral-sweet, but never cloying. There’s a touch of fruit, nothing loud, just enough to round the scent. It’s feminine, yes — but not girly. This isn’t for teenagers. It’s elegant without being icy. No “CEO in a power suit who won’t make eye contact” vibes here. Just a well-crafted floral that finally gets J’adore right for me.

I got this sample with order from Douglas. I was not too exited because I do not like the original one also did not like the J adore in Joy. However this is the scent I have been looking for. It feels like coming home. There is something familiar about this. It smells thicker more buttery and richer than the original. It is not too sharp, sweet or too loud. It is fuzzy and warm. I agree with a previous reviewer who said it may be preferred by someone older. Well I am 42 and I did also, just like this fragrance became thicker and lushier than I was when I was young haha. Maybe thats why I love it. On the side note I purchased blindly Lady Million fabulous because the scent profile was very similar but that one is completely different smelling. Loud sharp and obnoxious.

Perfect in every way. Classy, elegant, natural smelling, beautiful presentation, good performance. What more do you want from a perfume ? This is basically a tuberose done at its best. In the world dominated by fruitchoulis , this stands out . It isn't a heavy white floral , as tuberose tends to dominate every other note generally. It's a white floral that smells like you walked in an expensive flower shop. I won't get into details, others have done it well already. Highly recommended ! Oh, and it isn't far off from Amouage Love Tuberose either . So if you can't afford that one, this is a nice alternative... at $185 plus tax for 100ml it's a bit cheaper than the Amouage, and it resembles it well.

Infinissime is a lovely addition to someone's personal style. Very feminine, natural smelling, and essentially classic. Tuberose here is masterfully done, and also very gentle. Just to mention that I understand why people don't like tuberose or think they don't. In hot weather, tuberose often turns plastic or chemical. My favorite perfumes like Poison, Organza, Amarige... are unbearable to wear in summer and believe me, I discovered that in a harder way! But that same tuberose note is sensual, creamy, and elegant when the moment is right, in winter or spring mostly, or for cold summer evenings...However, Infinissime turned out great even during the summer heat! Definitely BIG LOVE for me.

Beyond gorgeous. Have you ever wondered what a meadow full of huge, white flowers under a sky of gold, with only wispy clouds and floating bubbles smells like? It smells like this. 🎠 The opening has a grapey tuberose similar to L'Interdit. As ylang surfaces, so does an airy, dry feel, like a feather light touch of powder, though I stop short of calling it powdery. Grape tones ebb and morph into an ambient soprano pitched floral sweetness. I could swear I smell honey. Fresh, pale yellow honey. I'm getting an Elie Saab Le Parfum vibe, starring tuberose instead of orange blossom (yes, please) that eventually turns creamier.

UPS just delivered this & although the bottle was cool, the liquid is warm. This smells so good! This is what I have always imagined a winter floral would smell like: warm, soft, sophisticated, sensual, not screechy/ sharp at all. I am sure this is wearable AYR. I’m really not interested in breaking down the notes because I just want to enjoy this comforting bubble I am in! With that being said, I can’t help to notice some musk when I smell my skin and a bubble bath / bubble gum. But it’s far from a juvenile sweetness. DIOR J’aDore keeps delivering & I do not feel that I just keep buying the same scent over and over.

This is a truly beautiful, sophisticated solar fragrance, one I didn’t know I needed! I love perfumes that give me summer vibes, but I realize that my favorites are all very casual. This is a gem because it is unmistakably sunny and warm, but still classy. I purchased the roller pearl but I may need a bigger bottle! Edit: bought 3.4 oz. I can’t get enough! One of my favorite summer fragrances is silk tree blossom (they’re everywhere in June where I live) and this smells like them in perfume form! I can’t believe I’ve stumbled upon a new all time favorite fragrance, but here we are! Blind buy SUPER win!

This one last and lasts on clothing. I really like it out of the other j' Adores i've smelled. It's completely different to the others. Others are more for daily wear: light and airy. This one is heavy with tuberose and jasmine, sexy, sultry, for a more mature sophisticated lady. I have to be in the mood for it. it's more for the evenings, a night out, a nice dinner date. I recently tested OG My Way: the opening of My Way is completely different (effervescent, sparkling), but then they end in (almost) the same drydown.

I couldn’t have chosen a better light shining on this cold evening. Few are the bright signs that precede Christmas this year. 'Infinissime' radiates while I’m freezing and reaches me, sensual. I can identify some sour shades, some bitter nuances of J'Adore, that sometimes touches me, but not here on my skin where every edge is blunted and rounded. It is luxurious. Ethereal, evanescent, pearly, then slowly darkens. It is a presence I love. Let us be filled with strength and light, extraordinarily beautiful.

This is one sexy perfume! It is definitely made for a more mature woman and I get it when people say it smells like 'old money'. To me, it has the same vibes as 24 Rue Faubourg by Hermes. Sadly, the ylang-ylang which imo carries the whole 'old money' phenomenon fades away rather quicky. Compared to the original J'adore, this is a more sophisticated version. If a TV character would wear this perfume it would be Catherine Martell from Twin Peaks, because she is a badass queen.

The ylang and tuberorse are strongest on me, jasmine in the background and the blood orange cutting the floral fugue. Sandalwood imparts a nice creamy base that compliments the ylang and tuberose. The lily of the valley and rose must be just supporting players, rounding out the floral bouquet. I still think that between this and J'adore L'or (whichever year, either one depending on your preference for patch) are two of the best florals around. That includes niche, beautiful.

I, absolutely love this fragrance. It is one of those fragrances that exudes class and elegance! It is feminine, long-lasting, and exquisitely made. My husband took me to Macy's to pick out 2 fragrances for my birthday--and after smelling this one, I knew immediately that Infinissime would be one of my choices. It is a great floral that I choose, to mostly, wear on special occasions. This is a fragrance that will always remain in my vast collection!

I thoroughly enjoy J'Adore Absolu which I have written a glowing review on but J'Adore Infinissime is an amplified version of that. It's a bit darker, if you consider Absolu to be day time then Infinissime would be night time. I love this. Again for me this is a gorgeous, feminine, elegant and SEXY fragrance. I love the jasmine and tuberose combination with the hint of pepper and citrus. It's very alluring....

This is a bright, elegant, smooth perfume that is appropriate for any time of year or occasion. This is a classy perfume very worthy of being a signiture scent. This is very much a white floral fragrance, but the citrus provides a bright edge and the sandalwood really smooths it out - well blended without being too harsh. Very pretty and feminine. This is one of my most complimented fragrances.
