Do Son Limited Edition

When I tried this, I was afraid it would be boring and straightforward, like Gucci Bloom, but to my surprise, it isn't—a beatiful tuberose-centered fragrance with a touch of jasmine and an unusual green and animalistic touch. I feel very feminine and innocently seductive. Great for day and evening, but I wouldn't wear it to the office though, it has rather strong sillage for first hours.

I am fan of tuberose, orange blossom as well as jasmin, and this is a gentle, musky, oriental, white floral scent that is fragrant. It smells near Gucci Bloom minus the muskiness. 🤍 I have the LE 2023 blue bottle with the same print as this.

I love soft white florals that aren’t screechy in any way, plus this edition’s artwork is pretty. This exceeded my expectations due to my love for leaf green tea. A thoroughly blended scent that doesn’t change much, but it’s smooth. Do Son resembles jasmine tea and genmaicha on me. On me, this gradually gets sweeter; in the best way. I’m very grateful I got this because of the resemblance of two of my favourite teas. Only complaint is longevity. I like to wear this at home so I can respray it. Very strong at first.

Opens as an overwhelming dose of sweet jasmine mixed with rose, tuberose and rubbery pink bubblegum to me. The musk note stays in the closet. A blind buy (bc genuine tuberose fan) which I regret as it is a rather lineair (boring) scent without much depth imo. Might also induce headaches if you are not a jasmine/rose fan.

I chose this specifically for the tuberose. Yes, there is a healthy dollop of jasmine but that's ok as this is such a lovely floral. The limited edition bottle is pretty, too.
