what's up with the listing notes of a bunch of new big releases on Fragrantica?? the two Initio's and the two d'Orsay's have totally wrong notes... also, when-oh-when will ALL the rose-forward fragrances finally stop to be compared to Delina for god's sake... This particular one has NOTHING in common with Delina, not even the type of rose, unless your nose cannot perceive anything more than smth vaguely rosy... it so happens that it also has nothing to do with Impadia, either. I am actually happy than even though it is unmistakably rose-forward, it's quite complex and has a lot more than just rose going on. Spicy, enveloping, supremely warm, opulent, rich, creamy. The heart is clearly rose with powdery waxy orris. Opens with an ever so slight vintage rose, but makes a sharp turn to modern soft-spicy warm resinous scents. I'd say it has more in common with Tonka Hysteria than with Jordi Fernandez's or Quentin Bisch's other roses. it's an instant love for me and a banger, as is Holy Berry (which oddly reminded me of un-Holy combo of Strawberry mochi by d'Annam and Initio's Side Effect...) it is also STRONG. and long-lasting. I love d'Orsay.

It’s like creamy butter mixed with the sweetest rose jam, blended to perfection. D'Orsay lists the notes as: Top — bergamot, peach, pink pepper; Heart — rose absolute, iris butter; Base — sandalwood, tonka bean, benzoin. It’s blended so smoothly that you’ll have a hard time pinpointing each individual note. What I get most is the creamiest of the creamiest butter—it has a real milky richness—followed by the lush rose absolute. It’s so sweet it’s almost cloying, but that only makes me love it more. The bergamot adds lift and a touch of freshness, while the hint of pink pepper gives it a subtle kick. Everything comes together and creates a beautiful harmony. It’s a love for me.

I enjoyed the opening but a kind of bitterness comes out on my skin in the dry down. Need to test some more, I think, but my initial impression is that it is good but not offering a lot more than what's out there already. Update: I did a full day's wear and ended up liking this quite a bit. I don't detect the bitterness as much and the overall sillage is lovely.

Hito No Mori... You NAILED IT. I also agree with Itcannotalwaysbenight...you MUST let this dry down. When I first sprayed it, I sprayed my entire sample disrespectful as hell because I thought "here we go with another Delina/Delina Exclusif dupe", but noooo. LET HER COOK. This is an all-season BANGER. Full bottle ordered.

This is perfection! Buttery boozy iris+tonka combination blended to perfection with this heavenly rose... sweet, seductive, intoxicating. But still chic. 1000/10 for date nights.

I like this rose leaning scent with a beautiful mix of Iris, which makes it more ethereal and powdery, not overwhelming in any regard.

People really need to stop saying that anything with rose in it smells like Delina. I think because Delina was many people’s introduction to loving rose notes, any perfume with rose immediately gets labeled as similar to it. But this is nothing like Delina. This is a powdery, sweet rose with a light green, airy vibe - more musky than earthy. It’s very very soft and gentle. I’m not sure why this keeps being described as a beast mode fragrance; whilst it has good longevity, I find it quite subtle, with low projection even when sprayed on clothes. I love it. It’s a very pretty, modern rose that’s perfect for the office and easy to wear year-round.

Reminds me of something I've smelled before but it's lovely! Has a gorgeous sweetness to it aswell and of course the extrait line is strong as always. I will also say this is the perfect fragrance for a ladies' night out Customer service from D'ORSAY is lovely aswell so this is definitely a good company to buy fragrances from. If you're interested in D'ORSAY fragrances, then as someone who likes designer scents such as Valentino's Born in Roma and niches such as Bliss by UNIFROM, if you're like me I'd recommend trying out the extrait line first as the Eau de Parfum editions are quite unusual

Tried it yesterday at Liberty in London, and must confess that I’m a little bit disappointed. It is a good fragrance, but it’s not original at all. It’s in the same ballpark as Delina and Impadia, so not really groundbreaking in any way. Performance is great. But for a 1/5 of the price, you can get Fashionably London Elixir from Zara, which does pretty much the same thing, particularly in the dry-down.

Opened sooo buttery soft, a modern rose, rose that went to Copenhagen and became an architect. But the drydown is a combo of grandpas old leather belt and something aromatic, very weird. Way too smart for my taste, chic indeed

Built around the classic rose–wood–amber triad, this is a crowd-pleaser overloaded with sweets and vanilla. It has a touch of woods, a hint of fruitiness, and the unmistakable feeling of having been designed with the brief: “Make something everyone will like” Not bad by any means; but certainly not unique. It carries all the fingerprints of today’s mainstream perfume wave. At this point, I’m not sure we can even call it niche anymore. Tag(s): sweet rose, crowd-pleaser, mainstream-like

So many of the notes are not listed here... for instance, there is pepper in the opening, and vanilla and akigalawood in the base. The akigalawood note is headache inducing for me, so it detracts from the delicious rose that was supposed to be the star.

Delina? Not even close. I agree in the resemblance with Impadia though. As others have stated, this is nothing new nor groundbreaking. It's kind of a pale rose (not jammy at all) combined with heavy dose of tonka (pretty similar with the tonka accord in Tonka Hysteria from the same brand) and some buttery iris at the bottom. If anything, this follows the Givaudan hype built around Amouage Guidance and its successors, having that sort of sweetness. From the very beginning you know that in here is either Jordi Fernandez or Quentin Bisch. Does it work? Damn it does. Is it dull? Kinda, it's just a reinterpretation of the Guidance idea just as Impadia, but centered around rose. Could be my favorite from this type of fragrance, but then again, is really sad that they exploit this DNA so much. Femenine leaning but guys can totally pull this off I think. Good performance. Not sure about price/quality ratio, but sure it's worth trying.

This has absolutely nothing to do with Delina or Impadia (that are also not that similar themselves, not even the same ballpark and unlike a lot of rose releases lately, is something completely different. The rose is gentle, there is no harsh notes or green-ness. It’s sweet, but not sugar sweet- there is a lactonic note that reminds me of rose pudding. This is blended with iris, maybe oris root, a tooooouch of akigalawood in the base and it’s a fantastic release by D’Orsay. I’m not a die hard fan of the brand, but this is a love and fantastic for autumn. Performance is great- both in terms of silage and longevity.

A sweet, creamy rose with a hint of pepper. It has the same plastery drydown as Delina and Angel Nova, but it is not as new money as the first, and not as perfumey as the latter. Even though there's only three notes here on Fragrantica, on the D'Orsay website we find this pyramid: Top: Bergamot, Peach, Pink Pepper Heart: Rose Absolute, Iris Butter Base: Sandalwood, Tonka Bean, Benzoin It's a classic pretty girl rose fragrance. Some compare it with Impadia, but for me Impadia is loud and unsophisticated. Rose Blaze doesn't scream, it has presence but it doesn't impose itself.

It took me a while to come around to this one. At first spray on a tester strip, I dismissed it as just another Delina-style rose. I was wrong. On skin, as it dries down, the fragrance pivots beautifully. The orris butter takes center stage lending a creamy, powdery smoothness that softens the rose. Then the tonka and slight spiciness from the benzoin adds warmth and depth. Calling this a Delina is dupe premature judgement. If you’re judging it in the first 10–15 minutes, then you’re missing out on a beautiful take on rose.

I get a green almost peppery (unripe) pear and citrus pith. A little scared to put it on skin with it being super strong. TBD

This one caught me completely off guard. On paper I immediately got a beautiful rose and creamy tonka, but on skin it really came alive. It’s warm, smooth, creamy and undeniably sexy without being overly sweet or heavy. There’s something very sensual about the rose here that keeps me wanting to smell myself. I can already imagine how gorgeous this will be in colder weather. Full bottle worthy for me. 🌹

For the first 15 minutes I fight the urge to wash this stuff off. To my nose it’s cloyingly sweet and smells sticky and cheap. BUT the dry down is worth the punishment. The powder comes in, the treacle lifts to more of a dusting sugar and over ripe rose feels lighter and fresher. Magic. That being said I couldn’t wear this everyday. 7/10.

The notes on here are very incomplete. This is a beautiful buttery rose. Very feminine and pink smelling. Got a miniature bottle as a gift and I am absolutely in love! Its been a sunny day and I did 2 sprays on my open neck and felt whiffs for 2 hours at least. It is so delicate and buttery, not overly sweet and long lasting at the same time(still can smell it on the hair in the evening). One day I might be getting a full bottle...

I hate that IMPADIA is a copy of DELINA. But this one is just the worst. What is wrong with you DORSAY? Just call yourself a dupe brand from now and charge us $25 instead of $250. Just another soul-less niche wannabe brand that is mediocre.

Maybe my nose is broken but I’m pretty sure I pick up either oud or akigalawood in the initial blast with this one!

Have nearly 70 bottle and this is my top 1! It is the most addictive deep creamy sweet rose dessert!

Very much similar to BDK Impadia but slightly more masculine.

Smells like an insensey (sp?) vanilla rose
