La Plage Sea

The only way I can compare this is that it is a more realistic version of HEELEY'S Sel Marin. Whereas Sel Marin has a more long lasting citrus dry down and a prominent cedar base, La Plage smells like you're literally somewhere along the coastline---on the sand or perhaps sea gazing from a cliff, taking in the fresh salty ocean air. The beach in all of its nature's entirety; there are no memories of coppertone or crowded beaches here. On the contrary, I envision an organic beach where no human foot has treaded, rocky cliffs and all, the sea gale lapping in your ears, with the sound of the waves crashing down, you can feel the mist of the ocean's spray soften your skin... that's what La Plage is. DSH makes high quality fragrances. With that said, it stays pretty true to itself as long as it's on my skin. Longevity is around 6~7 hours. Projection..it doesn't necessarily stick to your skin, but I do catch a good whiff of it regardless if I'm sitting still or moving about. If you like realistic ozonic fragrances, definitely try it.

I LOVE this! It is the perfect warm weather, fresh, beachy without being sunscreen perfume. You know when you are at the beach and you walk; you walk past all the people and their coconut or orange flower suntan lotions, all their foods, all the crazy, and there is just the sea air? NOT the fishy, seaweed-ish air. The fresh clean air. This is it. It is clean fresh sea air enhanced, intensified, lovely. (I posted this same review on the dsh website as a review).
