this has (what i perceive to be) a vintage feel. this starts off with something so familiar but i can't place it! this mysterious note disappears very quickly, and then it smells like dry leaves and leather like the above poster noted. after awhile i smell the carnation, oakmoss and vanilla more, as well as other woody notes. i really love carnation, leather and vanilla and they are all so nice in this scent, though i feel that oakmoss and leather are probably the most noticeable for the first 30 minutes. the drydown is different though- it's a warm spicy carnationy floral that is not so heavy on the oakmoss and leather as the beginning. i probably need to get a bottle of this.

This perfume is so gorgeous. I ran out of my sample just as fall is starting and now I’m staring at my perfume cabinet wondering what I could possibly wear when all I want to smell like is the most beautiful blend of leather, oakmoss, carnation, and spice on a Mousse de Saxe base. Nothing will do, I had to get more. This fragrance is now in my top 10, maybe top 5. I never want to be without it. It’s unlike anything out there nowadays and it’s almost completely natural/botanical. I want people to think of this scent when they think of me. I want this scent as a candle. I want my purse to smell like it. Best leather out there.

DSH nailed the Mousse de Saxe base that gives Pandora its sensual, vintage charge. I love that we can buy vintage style perfumes adapted to current style.

This is the best leather fragrance I have (and I have a bottle of Skive). Amazing.

On me Pandora starts out as a dark resinous, woody, and indolic floral fragrance. It's definitely very vintage feeling, with an animalic vibe. It starts to veer slightly into the "old lady fragrance" realm (I really like those kinds of fragrances), gets a bit churchy, and then is a more masculine oakmoss-dominant drydown. The animalic notes are there the whole time. I find this one to be quite sexy, and it was not very green on me at all. If you like Memoir Woman or Interlude Woman I would give this one a try. They are not dupes by any means, but in the same vein.

Dry leaves, suede and leather. Sparse floral. But excellent if you want a gentle earthy scent that smells meditative. No detection of geranium.
