Fig Tree Wood

I love fig fragrances for spring and cool summer evenings and Durance Fig Tree Wood is pretty near perfect on such days & evenings when I am thinking that a fig fragrance would be nice...given its notes, clearly a linear fragrance but it isn't at all over-the-top (fruity, jammy, or uber-green) fig-wise...this is likely due to the prominence of the fig wood being the dominant note with the fig leaf & the fig fruit notes playing supporting roles...in fact, this a relatively bone dry wood-ish frag with a tinge of sweetness & green notes lolling around the edges...longevity & sillage are above average...this is the fig fragrance I find myself reaching for most often. Longevity: 7/ 10 Sillage: 7/ 10

Very nice scent, best combination of citrusy, woody, fruity and spicy smells ever. I think this is the only sweet perfume for men I like. Doesn't last as long as its other L'Òme brothers, but leaves a very classy, young-smelling drydown on clothes. And for less than 30 Euros... All Durance L'Òme EDT definitely deserve more attention in my opinion :)

I feel like many fig fragrances marketed towards men can also be unisex. This one, however, is just slightly too masculine for me to wear on its own. It's pleasant and figgy, but very, very woody. All is not lost though - I've found that it's fantastic for layering, when you want something to have a bit more woody depth. I like to layer it with 10am Flirt, which is otherwise too sweet for me. It lasts a good while.
