Le Parfum Lumière

This is truly a luminous tuberose. Maybe better said luminous white floral! Big, bold, beautiful white flowers layered on a warm, ambery, woody, musky, earthy, patchouli base. Opens with a beautiful sweet, juicy sweet mandarin orange mixed with bright orange blossom and creamy ylang ylang. The usual white floral trio, tuberose, jasmine and gardenia constitute the loud and vivid heart of Le Parfum Lumiere! The name fits perfectly as this juice feels sunny, warm, soft, ethereal (but not light that would disappear fast) harmonious, up lifting. The overall vibe that Lumiere gives me is something warm and bright, like a golden hour! This could be happening also because of the exquisite look of the light yellow colour of the classic Elie Saab bottle. I would say it’s in the vein of original L’Interdit by Givenchy or the new J’Adore L’Or composed also by Francis Kurkdjian. I have never owned Le Parfum or the Intense version by Elie Saab so I can’t comment on those similarities! Best suited for spring and summer season. Very feminine and underrated. I rarely see or hear anyone mentioning this. Compared with the other creation of Francis Kurkdijan for Dior, this costs a third of the price for nearly double the amount of the perfume. This is not a straight up dupe of J’Adore L’Or but it’s very similar. Good longevity and projection. A winner for me!

Having recently worn both Le Parfum and Lumière side by side, I can confidently say that while they share the same DNA, they are not identical on my skin. The original Le Parfum opens as a fresh floral. It's elegant, feminine and beautifully composed, with the flowers taking centre stage from the very beginning. As it develops, it remains soft, graceful and effortlessly pretty. Lumière, on the other hand, opens much brighter to my nose. I immediately get a fresh citrus sparkle that the original lacks. As it settles, it becomes a gorgeous amber citrus, white floral fragrance before eventually transforming into a warm amber drydown. This is where it truly shines for me. Many reviews describe Lumière as lighter than the original, but I actually find it richer and more radiant. There is a warmth running throughout the fragrance that keeps drawing me back. I enjoy both, but Lumière has become my signature scent. It's one of the few perfumes I've completely used up and repurchased without hesitation. Every time I wear it, it feels like sunshine on warm skin and flowers blooming in bright summer light. If you love the original, I think Lumière is well worth trying. Don't dismiss it as a simple flanker. Give it time on the skin and allow it to develop. That's where the magic happens.

Francis Kurkdjian understands this line perfectly, it is seen that almost all the flankers and the original creation are his author and this Le parfum Lumiere fulfills what it promises but it is not a dim luminosity, it is a jet of light, bright and intense, while Le parfum edp showed us one offiner facets of orange blossom (for me, my favorite perfume with this note) here the white floral ensemble is overwhelming, although from its opening we feel the DNA "Elie Saab Le parfum" quickly mutates to something more daring and modern, I would dare to say that it is halfway to some flanker from Alien with some from L'interdit, a perfect mix of these trendy white florals with their ambroxanic touch (quite measured) and with a Ylang-Ylang that makes the difference here and contributes its tropical yellow floral part but without stealing the spotlight from the white flowers. In short, a flanker worthy of the line some may not like (I personally loved it) with outstanding performance by current standards, excellent work by Kurkdjian and once again I can say that I do not know an Elie Saab fragrance that does not have highquality, a applause for the talented Lebanese designer who has managed to maintain his line of perfumes with a high standard

This was a blind buy for me. This feels like a mix between Alien eau Extraordinaire and Coco Mademoiselle with a bit of No.5 into it. It has that uplifting feeling like Alien eau Extraordinaire(without the Alien DNA) and it's sophisticated like CM. It's not a dupe for any of them. I don't understand why both options got downvoted as the suggestions are for similar perfumes, as the title suggests, not exact clones. There is certainly a similarity to both of them. Alien eau Extraordinaire is sweeter/frutier and doesn't have that strong Ylang Ylang note. CM has lots of similar notes, but it's more citrusy and the Ylang Ylang is less strong. If you like these 2 you'd probably enjoy Le Parfum Lumiere too. For me the Ylang Ylang note is very strong in this perfume and it reminded me a bit of Chanel no.5, but they have nothing else in common. It has a strong sillage and medium longevity. I used 2 sprays on my mom, you could feel it withing arm's length in the first 2-3h, after that it started to fade and it became more intimate. I could no longer smell it on her after 6h.

A soft delicious citrus, smooth, bright, gently sweet, as they said “the fragrance of bright ray of sunshine”, to me it’s more of a ray of sunshine of the afternoon/evening rather morning, but it still works. It has an element of sharpness, maybe it’s the jasmine. It’s beautifully floral like a citrus scented bouquet. Elegant yet laidback. Like a Mediterranean sunlight. Despite being’s bright it’s also grounded. When it dries down it gets warmer and earthy, almost bitter. Imagine you’re sitting on a balcony mid spring or early summer, wearing a cotton garment, the gentle orange warm light of the afternoon/evening sun is hitting your skin, sparrows are chirping, you have a citrus tree that peeks into your balcony, with a warm citrus scented breeze as you sip your tea. I didn’t expect to love it this much, truly a visual masterpiece to me. As for the longevity I’m still experimenting with it, I just got a sample so my experience will be limited.

Elie Saab and Francis Kurkdjian are a collaboration that can do no wrong, at least as far as I'm concerned. They have created some stunners already but this is by far my favourite from the Le Parfum line. I ordered myself a 50ml plus 10ml gift set without hesitation and have already ordered another for the stash drawer ❤️ This is smoother, creamier than the OG and is blended to perfection. I think warmer weather will bring the tuberose, gardenia and amber notes forward. She's strong, beautiful, swoon worthy, lasting through the whole day on skin and far beyond on clothing. She will definitely be noticed by anyone within 6ft. As with others from the Le Parfum line, this probably won't be around forever. So if you love this as I do, I recommend getting yourselves a back up bottle or two 💕 😊

The orange blossom and Orange fruit are so strong, in the best possible way, the smell is unique, vibrant, fruity/floral and sexy, there is a pleasant mid-tone musk in the background. You need the attitude and confidence to wear this fragrance, or perhaps the fragrance will make you feel assertive, it is really intense so I would recommend for the Autumn/Winter season only, the price point is surprisingly good for such a long lasting fragrance, It smells expensive and the aroma will announce your presence in the room, I wear it for work but to be honest, it is not an adequate place for it, if you over spray, you will make people sick, to me it is more for a night out, special occasion or a walk in the city during a frosty evening. Lasts for ever 9 hrs +, I love it

This is a gorgeous daytime perfume that smells like freshly-brewed, high-quality fragrant jasmine tea with a slice of lemon. I audibly gasped in the store. The manufacturer's notes class this as a chypre fragrance which I think is more accurate than oriental floral listed here - there's a wonderfully tannic characteristic on my skin that is so clean and vibrant, this is completely missing on a test strip. The white flower bouquet may read narcotic or vintage for some people; others may have an issue with the citrus developing into a dish-detergent smell, this is a problem I tend to have with citrus-forward fragrances but this one doesn't do that. Projection is about arm's length, with moderate sillage. Longevity on my skin is over 7 hours

Wore this one for the first time today. Bought two gift sets of Elie Saab Lumiere because I was sure I would love this, and fortunately it turns out I wasn't wrong. This is really gorgeous. The mixture of every single note in this results in a perfect! sweet, fruity and flowery scent, that lasts many hours and automatically lifts my mood. The colour of the bottle matches the scent, I think. It is a bright/luminous, "sunshiny" perfume. The mandarin orange note, makes all the difference for me and makes it just amazing and such a joy to wear. Suitable for all ages.

I tried it today and I think it's about 80% similar to the original, I have L'Intense version and for the few hours I was wearing it, I kept forgetting this was the new one and thought I was wearing mine. It's like version 1.3, if we count Le Parfum, then L'Intense and lastly Lumiere. The name fits as it does feel sunnier, fresher, overall less heavy (maybe the no-Honey effect) but to me the DNA remains the same, While floral, Ylang, Amber with a touch of smokiness from the Patchouli. Projection and longevity are pretty good like its predecessors.

I tested this a few months ago, then I thought the opening was nice, but the dry down did not impress me at all. It was almost stuffy and old fashioned in my opinion. I forgot about this parfum for a while. But now, I have been testing again, and this time I love this scent, all the way. Interesting floral, woody musky base, softly lingering and comforting. Scent for all seasons. This reminds me to give time to scents and always try again!

FK did it again... Uplifting,airy,and very feminine scent. As owner of original and Royal flankers, Lumiere is really a scent which makes me happy. Such uplifting and so beautiful scent with amazing silage and longevity💫 main star of this flanker is definitely orange bloosom very well blended with jasmine, dry down perfectly done musk and patchouli, very gentle and pleasant. To me, this is a sunshine in the bottle in Elie Saab way🌞

I fell in love with this fragance Blind buy 🙈 success 😍 It feels mature to me, like something my mom would wear but it's very bright and feminine, it feels quite elegant too. Really anyone can wear it. After a few minutes this fragance reminded me so much of Scandal By Night, but a lighter, brighter, fresher summer version. This could definitely be a Scandal flanker This is forever, so much depth. I love it so so much.

Very good. Very well balanced, pretty, elegant and feminine. Perfect for Spring/Summer. It is actually luminous, like they describe it. I smell the jasmine sambac, the white floral combo and the ylang ylang for sure. Lasts for a long time and then i get the ambery woods. It's creamy, soft and sweet. Brings like a harmony state of mind, because it's cozy. Very good projection and longevity. A winner, for me.

This is available in Europe, I absolutely adore this. It’s incredible. It’s similar to the original but added Gardenia and Tuberose. It’s a truly stunning fragrance. As soon as I saw FK was the perfumer I had to add it to my Elie Saab collection. The longevity is great And the through is fabulous. stunningly beautiful flanker, I hope they keep bringing ones like this out on the market. ❤️❤️❤️

Oooh, I want it!! It smells like a brighter or 'sunnier' version of Le Parfum Intense (huge pity they discontinued it) so I might get it as its 'replacement'. The orange blossom is prominent (typical Le Parfum) but I don't see any resemblance with Alien or La vie est belle Soleil Crystal (no coconut at all). The vibe this scent gives me is something warm and bright, like a golden hour!

I don’t know why this has such bad reviews, it’s my favourite from the line! Lumiere has remnants of the original Elie Saab and the Royal, but to me it’s so much better because I’m not one for girly fresh perfumes. It has amber and patchouli and Jasmin so it is deeper than the original and more interesting to me. Smelt it once and bought the 90ml bottle!

Smells beautiful!! This one does not disappoint, great sillage and lasts for a long time.I first bought a sample of Lumiere and had to buy a full bottle. Love it! Perefct for Spring, Summer, day or night. I wasnt a massive fan of the original Le Perfume but this flanker is one of my favourite perfumes, yet other reviewers say they are very similar!

a dream; a sophisticated, hyper-realistic animalic white floral: smells so raw, real, carnal, yet incredibly yet refined and classy. pure sensual jasmine. my physical reaction upon smelling this was intense, i closed my eyes and took a breath in with intense bliss and euphoria! don’t even try other white florals, run to Elie Saab!

When I first spray it, it's much like the original, but once it starts settling, it's lighter, more soft version. The musk really comes through after a few hours of wear. Long lasting, and silliage is amazing. Elie saab collection is by far my favourite perfumes. I have repurchased most of them once finished.

This i my favorite white floral/citrus scent. The woody notes in the drydown are lovely and the amber is gorgeous. Lasts long and projects really well. I just love it and am currently binging on it like crazy !!

I like this flanker better than the original! Probably because of the ylang ylang, which gives it a creaminess and a tropical feel which I love. The original was a bit too white floral and mature for me.

No bubblegum, no soap, no nothing, just pure photorealistic flowers. This is what I thought Flowerbomb would smell like. Great longevity on skin and on clothes. ✨Best spring scent eveeerrrrr✨!!!

I'm a hardcore Elie Saab fan. I own and love Le Parfum, Le Parfum EDP Intense (two bottles of it and I hardly ever buy backup bottles even for my most loved perfumes), Le Parfum EDT, Le Parfum Rose Couture, L'eau Couture and Resort Collection 2017(also Girl of Nows but that's a different story). I imagined Le Parfum Lumiere to be a fresh, summery, sunny white floral. well I find it kind of sunny but I don't find it fresh. flowers are heady here not airy. I can detect Elie Saab's signature orange flower but I can also detect other flowers,mainly jasmine and ylangylang(I can also feel a whisper of tuberose but it's not too tuberosey or gardenia dominant to my nose.I find jasmine stronger here). I would have still loved it not for really hot summer days but for cooler ones and mild temperature if it wasn't for it's base. patchouli, woody notes and amber are too strong for my taste and they get even stronger as it dries down. the ylangylang and it's woodsy-ambery base make it feel more mature other Elie Saabs. overall I still like how it smells. I find it ladylike, elegant,sophisticated and high quality but I don't see myself wearing it. for a bright,spring and summery, sweet yet fresh orange blossom dominant white floral I prefer Elie Saab Le Parfum EDT. I find that one even more luminous من کلا از طرفدارای الی ساب هستم و له پارفیوم، له پارفیوم اینتنس، له پارفیوم ادوتویلت، رز کوتور و لئو کوتور رو دارم و خیلی دوسشون دارم. واسه لومیر خیلی ذوق داشتم و انتظار یه عطر فلورال تابستونی رو داشتم اما اونی که فک میکردم نبود. اینکه میگن رایحه روشن و طلایی طور داره رو متوجه میشم اما برای من فرش و تابستونی نیست.گلهاش سنگین و جدی ان و سبک و تمیز نیستن. شکوفه پرتقالی که امضای الی ساب هست رو میشه هست اما درکنارش واسه من یاس و یلانگ یلانگ غالبترن. من فقط یه حضور کمرنگ از مریم حس میکنم و درکل واسه من زیاد مریمی-گاردنیایی نیست. بیشتر یاسیه اما جنس یاسش با یاس له پارفیوم فرق داره و به یاس الین نزدیکتره. نتهای چوبی-امبر و پچولی قویتر از چیزی هستن که امیدوار بودم و تو درای داون قویتر هم میشن. ترکیب یلانگ یلانگ و امبر و چوب سن عطر رو یه مقدار بالا برده. درکل ازش بدم نمیاد. بنظرم باکیفیت و خانومانه و باکلاس و لاکچری طوره اما عطری نیست که دلم بخواد خودم بزنم. اگه دنبال یه عطر وایت فلورال بهاره تابستونی با رایحه غالب شکوفه پرتقال هستید که درعین شیرین و گلی بودن یکم فرش هم باشه الی ساب له پارفیوم ادوتویلت رو توصیه میکنم. بنظر من اون لومینس تر و روشنتر از اینه

Le Parfum Lumière by Elie Saab is a radiant interpretation of its predecessor, designed to capture the essence of the first light of a Mediterranean sunrise. The original Le Parfum is a solid favourite in my collection, and has long been considered the holy grail of bridal scents. Orange blossom is one of my favourite white floral accords, and I often find myself drawn to fragrances that feature this note in abundance. I have tested Le Parfum Lumière several times since its release in 2021, and each testing I made the mistake of spraying onto a card and not directly onto skin. On a tester strip, Le Parfum Lumière is very dense and smells more like a replica of Mugler's Alien rather than a Le Parfum flanker. The sweet jasmine overshadows the orange blossom and becomes slightly headache inducing. I revisited Le Parfum Lumière again today, and decided to apply to my skin in addition to the tester strip. Comparing the scent on my skin to the paper is significantly different. On my skin, the orange blossom reigns supreme with a bright, sweet aroma, further complemented by a white floral bouquet of jasmine, tuberose, ylang ylang and gardenia. It is indeed a brighter, more sparkling interpretation of the original. From where I applied this fragrance to my inner wrist, I enjoyed almost nine hours of moderate to strong projection. Le Parfum Lumière is surprisingly more lasting than the original, which is quite unusual as brighter, more Summer appropriate flankers tend to be softer than their predecessors. The vast difference between wearing this flanker on skin as opposed to smelling from a strip, has transformed this fragrance from a "meh" to an absolute love. Onto the wishlist it goes.

Review from a gcc middle eastern woman. With wide experience in perfumery. Spicy, with solar notes in a VERY middle eastern way, I’m surprised there is no “spicy” accord only tad woody. This is the solar notes you know off, sitting on spicy woody patchouli mix base. If you want to smell like an expensive, rich middle eastern this is for you. But you have to be comfortable with woody & patchouli notes as it’s stronger than I expected (even as a middle eastern myself). Otherwise it is nice. I have many solar in my collection & I don’t actually have like it, as western brand doesn’t have this middle eastern twist/ vibe to it. Even the “oriental” scents western brands make can are often softer than this. I’m not sure “sunshine” is appropriate unless you’re wearing it in the middle eastern countries, otherwise this is too intense for the morning or day time in my opinion. However because it’s also has that woody spicy notes, you can also wear it in colder weather. Currently I’m in Germany & will use it as a base with my softer solar western perfumes like Olympea Elixir for example on top. Just like I use Oud, few spritz & the rest softer perfume, more elegant unless the occasion requires more intensity. It is pretty but it is also different so I wanted to cover the notes I don’t think the accords accidentally described.

I'm trying this on a warmer day around 20° C and I have a collection of the Elie Saab perfumes, the whole Girl of Now collection and 4 fragrances out of the Le Parfum collection and have also tested Le Parfum Royal which wasn't for me, I tried this out yesterday after seeing it at my local House of Fraser and as a Elie Saab perfumes are my favourite I wanted to try it and pick it up as soon as I can. To me, this is very light it lasted on my skin (considering my skin soaks up most perfume) for around 2ish hours but from about 30minutes in this was a super light coconut creamy and white floral but expensive smelling body lotion sent. It's nice, but I'm not sure if I like it enough to purchase as it's quite expensive to just smell like expensive body lotion? I might try this again but for now it's nice but generic and in my opinion not worth the money. Just for comparison, this to me smelt similar to the new La Vie Est Belle Soleil Cristal but like a lighter airy eau du toilette version and I just looked at the notes and they do have quite a few crossing over

Starts off like a brighter and less sweet original Le Parfum and it dries down close to L'Interdit by Givenchy. It is definitely lighter and easier to wear than L'interdit, which in comparison to Lumiere is a lot more dense, sweet and syrupy thick. L'Interdit had a sweaty/beer like note, which is why I haven't repurchased it, but Lumiere is a great replacement at a much lower price point. Orange blossom is really strong at first, but as it dries down the tuberose becomes more prominent. It did remind me of Prada Paradox in the first 2 min and I guess that is the orange blossom. I wouldn't say it smells like any of the Dior J'adore, as they tend to be more fresh and clean smelling and maybe even a bit vintage at this point. Lumiere still feels young and trendy, so you are definitely not gonna smell dated with this one.

As many other reviewers have stated, this is extremely similar to Elie Saab's Le Parfum in White, with the most obvious difference being the addition of the tuberose note. In a way it almost smells as if someone combined LPIW and Armani's My Way. I am VERY picky with my tuberose scents, in that it has to be the right amount (not too much) and mixed with the right notes, otherwise I dislike it as it can smell either too bubblegum-y or too soapy on me. This fragrance seemed to strike a very good balance, though I will say that I prefer LPIW, thus suggesting that I would enjoy this more if it weren't for the tuberose. If LPIW didn't exist I would certainly consider adding this to my collection, but because I already own a flanker that aligns better with my preferences I probably won't be purchasing this one.

This is a very nice everyday perfume—I wear it to work and really enjoy it. You can still smell it throughout the day, but it’s not overpowering, making it office-friendly. As others have mentioned, the dry down could be better, and I feel like it’s missing an extra note that would make it truly perfect. The packaging feels high-quality, which is a nice bonus. While I won’t be repurchasing, it’s still a great choice for those who enjoy soft, wearable scents. (Alien is one of my favourite fragrances and I don’t find them very similar)

It's still mostly like the OG Le Parfum to me, except slightly less "honey", and more "creamy". Both are nice, but again, a predominantly jasmine-type white floral, clean, bright. Good longevity and good projection, as par for the course with the other Le Parfum scents. If you LOVE Le Parfum and are collecting the flankers, sure, but if I had either the OG or the Lumiere, I wouldn't get the other. My personal preference is very slightly for the OG (I just love the jasmine-honey), but this is still pleasant.

I decided to test this & Le Parfum in white on opposing wrists for the day. Despite its name, Lumière is deeper, more sensual and heading slightly lower down the musical scale if you like. The ylang ylang gives it a more tropical feel and the tuberose adds a sultry note. I feel like one should spray with caution to avoid a synthetic vibe or veering too much into 'perfumy territory' but keep a light touch friends and this can be warm & sexy. And very good value. Not everyone can afford niche.

I like Le Parfum Lumiere! I think I like it more than the original Le Parfum, which I really, really like/borderline love. It is a little less sweet and sharp than the original, which I also like. But I still find it quite close to the original (which I have a big bottle of) and I don't think it's different enough from Le Parfum to need a whole bottle. Le Parfum Royale and Le Parfum Essentiel, on the other hand, are both different enough, and I do own bottles of those beautiful scents, too.

I have and like the original, so I dont mind the fact that Lumiere is about 80% identical with the original. Upon first spray there is a bit of citrus freshness but that only lived for like 10-15min. The honey sweetness from the original is toned down in Lumiere. Strangely Lumiere does somehow remind me of Alien (whereas i dont detect any similarity between the original and Alien), but a lighter and less dense version.

This opens a very sweet, tropical flower bomb. Woman walks past White Lotus style hotel lobby having perhaps over sprayed. She's happy, not exactly subtle, and confidently brings her honey floral cloud. Thankfully the over-sweet opening (for me) calms into a deeper, more complex, lovely floral experience. It will jolt you out of introspection and cheer you up. Becomes delicious & intoxicating.

I am very picky with tuberose and feel happy to see it is not bubblegummy here (looking at you L'interdit...) and also the orange blossom is not sickening sweet (hello Libre Intense, even though I own it). The added ylang ylang and the brighter opening of this flanker has me hooked as a summertime floral fragrance. Moderate longevity and projection, I don't complain at all.

I used to love the original but since smelling this I prefer it. The initial spray and dry down are somehow softer and easier for everyday wearing, the longevity is pretty much the same as the original

I get a tall, fizzy glass of ginger ale straight through the opening, heart, and dry down. This is a fun, sunny, light-hearted scent I’ll enjoy in warmer weather.

This is a sparkling version of Zara Sublime Epoque. Fresh, beautiful, easy to wear and office appropriate.

My favorite remains Elie Saab Le Parfum in White. This one is good but not as beautiful for me, it is bitter for some reason. I smell a lot of tuberose as well, reminds me of L'interdit from Givenchy, especially in the beginning, which is nice but afterwards it becomes very generic bitter sweet white florals, quite weak as well, nothing to write home about. I haven't tried the original yet, but if it's similar to this one, I will pass and stick to my favourite Elie Saab in White.

It was a blind buy, after seeing the notes, I realised I had to buy it. Many people say Elie Saab perfumes have great longevity, so I was expecting the same with this one, but unfortunately, it barely stayed on my skin. I love the smell so much, but sadly it disappeared after about an hour. This is now my stay at home perfume where I can easily grab the bottle and reapply it on my skin. A bummer.

This was a blind buy based on the notes and the fact that it's a FK creation. It's alot of florals, very VERY dense. Pretty but A LOT. I've only worn it in the fall and winter months so who knows what it'll be like in the warmer months.
