Velvet Plum Tea

Not what I was expecting. To me, this is a unisex spicy oud fragrance. I was expecting lots of plum and a tea note... I highly dislike oud so this is a no for me.

Hmm. I think it is unisex as well. I find it really intriguing. I don't know if it's for me though. Been searching for a similar perfume to Valentino Donna noir. This isn't it. The oud is noticeable. This is initially kind of soapy and a little sour on me. I think it's kind of like a honeyed oudy apple with a hint of rose. Starts to get sort of powdery after a bit. For the name, I am let down. I feel I get no plum or tea. I hope after a week or so my sample changes somehow lol. Even for what I smell I feel like other brands have done it better, I'd prefer kayali elixir over this one. The more I smell it, the more it's giving me "boujee house furniture" vibes 🥲

Very nicely done, well blended, and worth the price of admission. Definitely unisex, but I would kill to smell this on a guy. It's a warm, sultry fragrance with a prominent smokey-incense vibe -- think smoldering. If it were a texture, it would be purple velvet. If it were a setting, it would be a dark after-hours night club with slinky women in little black dresses, debonair men, and soft jazz playing in the background. Although "plum" is in its name and DNA, it is not a "plum" fragrance. The top notes do give way to the lower notes fairly quickly. At hour three it has faded away to a lingering oud note. But I love it. Absolutely and totally.

Something about this made me smile at first sniff. It reminds me of a Christmas shop - the combination of fruity, spiced, and sweet candles, pretty displays of teas, coffees, and nuts, joy in the air. It’s enchanting. Leans feminine, quite sweet, an immediate love.
