Ungaro Man

It's just a SILLY, yet FUN, FRESH scent that is EASY to LIKE and, perhaps, even LOVE! Fresh, clean, uninspired, unimaginative and baloney-caloney are good adjectives one may use when describing this fragrance. On the other hand, so too are terms like fresh, clean, refreshing, easy-to-wear and dumb-reach. Ungaro Man is so unlikable for those of us who enjoy the finer and more complex fragrances...yet, I reach for it quite often and just love it. So mock me if you wish. So why do I love this fragrance? Well, it smells great...it's versatile...unlikely to offend...and is dirt cheap. Remember that Paul McCartney tune titled, "Silly Love Songs?" Well, this is just one of those Silly Love Scents, so no need to analyze it...just go with the feeling. Ungaro Man is made for the dog days of Spring/Summer and versatile little scent when you're wanting to smell fresh & clean, but you're wanting something other than a citrus-aromatic. Aromatic-mint, and some mild light-leather and cedar tones are what I get out of this fragrance. It won't win any awards, but I find it easy to wear and great for the office and for casual use. Performance is a bit lackluster in that it lasts 5-6 hours and projects moderately and stays a close to my skin after the first hour. But that's just fine for this kind of scent when it's balls-hot outdoors and you're not wanting to be gag on your fragrance.

The reviews here all seem to claim that Ungaro Man is a safe, masculine fragrance; nothing ground-breaking but not bad by any stretch of the imagination. I have to agree. The tobacco dominates Ungaro man once it settles on the skin for a while but I also have to agree with Gypsy Parfumista I feel like there should be more than three notes in there but my nose isn't the most experienced so who knows, I feel like there's some more herbs and citrus in there than the list says but I'm not sure what yet. I will need to wear it a few more times to be sure. Ungaro was a great $15 blind buy at my local Marshalls. The reviewers here seem to have it listed as a Summer/Spring fragrance but I'd disagree I think the tobacco notes would be more at home in the Fall/Winter; potentially as a going out fragrance but the downside is you won't be overpowering anyone. It's easier for me to do here on the East Coast because we're not cologne nuts over here haha! Sillage and longevity are nothing to write home about, maybe four or five hours maximum, but for what I paid for it for a 3.4 oz I will just re-apply. All in all I'd give Ungaro Man a 7/10!

Many reasons to love this one. First of all it's a very subtil perfectly balanced soft floral, aromatic fragrance. Follows with a very light but smellable sweet touch that will enchant your nose times to times for hours when used as what it is; an eau de toilette. Extremely class but not poshy. Soft & fresh but nothing cheap nor usual. I very happily can't smell any tobacco notes. Who would want to smell like a stinking ashtray! I guess those green plant notes are well mixed with others to give this brilliant result. Have you noticed companies & shops love to stop selling good stuff to sell new & usually bad stuff instead! No idea what's the idea behind this buy bad stuff philosophy. I would suggest you to give this Ungaro a try unless you like heavy oriental sugar smells. I bet you will not be deceived.

I love this scent. It doesn't smell similar to Givenchy pour homme as people have noted. In fact it's quite unique with tobacco and basil making it smell like green tobacco which in my opinion is manly yet youthful. It's a great cheap fragrance that I will use frequently for summer. The longevity and sillage are bad unfortunately still it's a great blind buy as this smells the best among the 70+ bottles that I have used. Ungaro if you're reading, please don't ever think of discontinuing this scent.

بوی خیلی خوبی داره تنباکو خالص ولی برای حداکثر 2 ساعت.بعد از اون دیگه رو پوستم احساسش نکردم..بازم میگم رو پوست من اینطوری بود.بنظر من اصلا هم پخش بو نداره حتی 1/10.باز رو خودتون تستش کنین
