Osmanthus Absolu

For me this fragrance has a lot interesting juxtapositions it smells light and spring like and floral and fruity and then dark and dry tea and leather and on my skin this oscillation occurs all day. Last night I smelled this insanely delicious muskiness wafting to my nose from my arm - it had that 70's slightly oily vibe and as my nose got closer I realized it was the tea and cypriol blending into this modern yet familiar muskiness. The floral here is yellow and the fruitiness is a dry peach and these accords compliment the tea rather nicely. I bought the travel spray at Skins within a few days of release and I just keep returning to it - it is interesting, it works with spring weather and because of this interesting aspect my nose is really happy with it.

Just recieved an order from Skins, and within a few samples, also this collab from Essential Parfums X Skins! Immediately I thought I know this scent, took me a few seconds to realise this is very similar to Fleur du mal by Dries van Noten(I have the sample set of DvN), so I wear them side by side now and they are really very close! Will update with more info later Edit: 26 april 2026 This is really a strange one, ... to my nose its a mix of 90% Fleur du mal by DvN and 10% bois impérial by Essential Parfums, I say strange cause both Parfums are from Quentin Bisch and Osmanthus Absolu is by Mathieu Nardin..... I m sorry mister Nardin, but to me this is a 100% Quentin Bisch inspiration!

This is an interesting one. It does smell very similar to Pêche Mirage to me and I owned that one. But it’s actually more leathery and stronger. I’ll come back to provide more details as I wear it. I will say the fact I can compare this to a $400+ perfume is a great sign.

It starts fresh, floral, green, light peach and barely perceptible leather. Osmanthus is felt from the very beginning mixed with lily of the valley. Vanilla and leather emerge in the drydown. A great unisex fragrance for spring and leisurely summer evenings outdoors.

I love it! Perfect release for Spring. As expected, a sophisticated and elegant collaboration/release from Skins. There are the softer floral notes mixed with hints of vanilla, woods, cypriol, and black tea. Sometimes I smell parts of a fruitier version Gris Charnel from the tea and Cardamom notes. Unisex, longevity is decent. Sillage is normal to intimate. Picked up the 10 ml travel size, depending on how much I reach for it, a full size is not out of the question. Great value for your money, travel size or full bottle. Office suitable.
